owem19:That’s what that cancer called islam can cause to any society. |
Omoawoke:How are the dominating you? Have they ever killed you like the hausas? They might be proud, loud & boisterous but they are not dangerous. In fact, they enrich our society with their culture of hardwork and progress. Like I said, I know where all the hate is coming from. I just pity the Christians amongst us who are joining the Muslims to fight against the igbos. After the igbos are safely ensconced in their own land, the Muslims will do what they do best to fellow Yorubas. Shebi it’s islam? Esin imale? We will be here when Sharia is introduced into Lagos. I will not be here when that madness starts. |
elnegrodeafriqu:I’m not chinedu. If I’m bigoted with all my education and exposure, then I’m a waste. I know where all these problems are coming from in yoruba land. I’m just really tired. Just can’t wait to get out of Nigeria. Its just a lot of hardwork but I have no choice but to do the hard work. I don’t understand how a people as exposed and educated as we are can still be tribal towards fellow Africans and Nigerians. I am so shocked!!! |
Optional09:Honestly, I’m tired of all these embarrassment. I’m embarrassed on behalf of both Yorubas and igbos. The country has failed. Those who have left Nigeria are very lucky. |
Optional09:Gbo gbo eleyi o necessary rara….I’m not worried about igbos because they are not dangerous. They bring development and commerce. I don’t like what happened in this election at all. We have serious tribalism problem in yorubaland and I will place the blame at the feet of Tinubu & his minions. I am hopeful that something will give soon to avert the disaster his government will bring on Nigeria. Once again, I say that the igbos are not the problem. Awa la ni ishoro… |
You must really be a loser in real life. I can’t say you don’t represent Yorubas because this election exposed a lot. I’m yoruba and I’m appalled at the level of tribalism in our land. Just calm down with the tribalism thing. The ball is in the court of the igbos like I always say. They just need to develop their own land and live there. But this level of tribalism is shocking and disappointing. |
Get lost!!!! Which dirty unity is that? |
Prof0fficial:Word! |
elnegrodeafriqu:You’re just running up and down. If you think things will go back to normal after this election you must be joking. You guys always want to use your hate for igbos as canon fodder. I told you I’m yoruba and I want to know the few remaining middle class Nigerians should continue showing empathy to the poor and illiterate. |
elnegrodeafriqu:Is this your answer? Kindly answer my question. Why should Nigerians continue showing empathy to the poor and scarcely educated? You want things to go back to normal after foisting injustice and dashing the hopes of millions of Nigeria’s educated class. Why should there be unity and empathy? |
Softmirror:Abi now? The matter is very simple. |
elnegrodeafriqu:Why you tell me why any middle class Nigerian should help any poor person—especially if that poor person is yoruba? I’m waiting for your answer. And mind you, I am a yoruba man too so don’t bring igbo talk to it. |
1nice:I’m Obidient but which court? Do you know what I do in real life? Do you know how close I’m to the sector in question? Dey play you hear? We know Obi won but they won’t allow him win so don’t raise your hopes!!! They are waiting for him there. And I don’t believe in prophecies. Na Bishop Feyi Daniels still dey give una hope say dem go rule against Tinubu. I’m a Christian too but a realistic Christian. Plan your life without thinking about Nigeria!!! |
Hashabiah:Na the way ooooo. I pity any youth that still has time to think Nigeria can be saved. Hmmmmmm. |
Fahvvy:Why should I participate and thugs and snatch the ballot boxes in year 2023? How can a national election be rigged like that? What kind of country is that? How many sane Nigerians do you think have time for that? That means we are animals like the caucasians/whites actually call us. |
1nice:Tinubu stole his mandate quite alright but please do not place your hope in Nigerian courts. I know what I’m talking about. You better start planning your life. |
![]() What is our business with this news? I really don’t understand. |
In my thread that was discarded and hidden by the mods, i advised sane Nigerians to change their approach to Nigeria by tuning out mentally and not to Join anybody to argue about Nigerian elections. I told people to become more insular and absolutely refuse to help the poor and uneducated especially if they are Yorubas. I am yoruba myself and I was shocked with the level of hate and tribalism exhibited by supposedly educated and Christian Yorubas who fought the detribalized Yorubas like me. I lost a lot of friends and I’m glad I held on to my conviction. I adviced young and educated Nigerians to be more insular and work hard to get out of Nigeria. It maybe expensive but you can do it for the sake of your children. The illiterate and bigoted are too much to contend with and they cannot be saved. I said after this charade of an election and the tribal hate that was shown for Peter Obi and the igbos, they will come back to beg that you to use your education and intellect to join them in building the country . I adviced that you should never join them in forging that National camaraderie. Let them rebuild what they have destroyed on the basis of religious and tribal persuasions. The vast majority of Nigerians are too bigoted, corrupt and illiterate to want to build a nation with. As for Christians and the church, I told them that they deserve this crushing defeat because pastors turned our faith into a business and our middle class thought they do not need to vote because of their 350k jobs in big cities. Now they are 2nd class citizens in Nigeria deservedly. I adviced going forward that those who are church inclined should be careful of the trust they place on pastors and church in general. I’m Christian but I don’t go church. I told them to use their tongue to count their teeth henceforth. As for the Muslims, be careful of them generally and relate from a distance. This was my message that the mods deleted because they want national unity after perpetrating injustice. |
If you’re disappointed with the result, just accept that Nigeria cannot be salvaged. Do not waste your time to go and vote on Saturday. Tune out mentally from Nigeria. If you’re single, get that passport and study like hell to leave the country. The uneducated are too much and you can’t really do anything to help them. Let them face the consequences of their actions. Do not help any poor or illiterate person—especially if they are Yorubas. I’m yoruba and I was disgusted and I am still sick from the level of hate and bigotry I saw from educated and Christian yoruba friends. These are very educated people from regulated professions in Nigeria. I lost a lot of friends and I am glad I lost them. So as a sane person, you will do well to reimagine yourself in another country that works and do not join them to rebuild any cohesion or unity in their government. Do not agitate or fight but let them feel that absence of any iota of National camaraderie. They want a nation without laws, Justice and unity. They have proved it with their electoral choices. Yours is to now look inwards and work hard with your family to see how an exit plan can work out. Work hard and be focused to bequeath a better passport to yourself and your children. There is no salvation for this country. As for the church in Nigeria, allow the church to face what is coming for it and don’t put your faith or trust in any pastor. I don’t go to church so I can’t advice you on what to do with church attendance. But I want you to look around and count your teeth with your tongue. Do not join anybody to argue or fight on nairaland or Twitter about Nigeria. It serves no purpose because the country is gone. We just disgraced ourselves before the whole world. Work hard, focus and have your eyes on the ball for the sake of you, your sanity and the future of your children. |
A lot of things need to change. I lost a lot of friends this period of election and I like it like that. Going forward, I cannot help any poor or uneducated person again especially if the person is yoruba. I have always feared Muslims so i will continue to distance myself from them. As for church, I have not stepped into one for almost a year and this election made me know they are generally not fit for purpose. This is the time to prioritize yourself and look inward. Get that passport and do what you can do leave legally. Just your family and yourself. No need to vote next Saturday because it’s a waste. Things will really change in Nigeria after this election. |
colorsofrainbow:I’m a Christian. Don’t you get? But we boxed ourselves into this situation. Was it not Christians in Ondo & Ekiti who voted for a Muslim/Muslim ticket? Was it not Nyesom Wike who rigged his state for a Muslim/Muslim ticket? Is it not RCCG that is engaging in tribalism and is subtly supporting a Muslim/Muslim ticket? Christians will suffer under APC and nobody will help them. I don’t kuku go to church and I can never convert to that bloody Islamic religion. |
kelvine:Noooo….Muslims now have the right to bully them and Christians deserve it. Shebi we prefer tribalism and apathy to politics ni? |
colorsofrainbow:I’m not a Muslim so what’s my business with Boko-Haram? And I don’t care about what your Tinubu will do but I know the church in Nigeria must suffer for their aversion to politics. I know this period will affect their tithes and offering business. They played themselves into being 2nd class citizens and they deserve what Muslims will do to them in Nigeria. |
sukkot:I shall continue to pursue and bust your propaganda. Shebi eni pe e ya werey ni? |
Whatever APC & Muslims choose do to Christian pastors is fine because they caused all these on them. Tinubu and Shettima should ban the Christian faith itself if they survive the court and legal hustles. The church and Christians in Nigeria must suffer for their apathy to politics. We warned them and they failed to listen. Anyways, Christians are already 2nd class citizens in Nigeria. |
Mraphel:Go and arrest him and fall into the trap. You’ll lose that which you covet the most. |
sukkot:You use God to control and confuse the people while the adherents of your Islamic faith can’t or don’t wait for your God to take control of things. You kill, mail, plan & annex your enemies because you know God is an abstract concept. You so much push the God narrative because you don’t want the Christians to be proactive like you. Now you are scared that the Christians in Nigeria are being liberated of their mental shackles. As for your dissonance allegation about the devil, I said so because the devil here pertains to a malevolent being who wields power to do evil to any system or people, which perfectly fits Tinubu. |
twosquare:Smile….you made some sense but the God factor doesn’t apply because personally, I feel there’s no God. But you are right with the analogy of Tinubu being the devil. |
sukkot:Go away already……you’re a thug. |
PeterObi4LP:There are a lot of insane Muslims in Lagos that will vote APC. Go to Agege. |
sukkot:Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour is not Igbo. This matter is one for lagosians to decide. See ehn, your victory at the National is a pyrrhic one. And you know it in your heart so you’re bitter. Okan iwo ati awon molebi e oni bale!!! |
sukkot:Delusional jihadist & Islamist. You will not have rest. Which street is talking? You shall relinquish our mandate no matter how much blood you spill. That mandate belongs to all Nigerians, not Peter Obi or the Igbos, as you delusional APC bots think it is. This is a National moment of reckoning. Okan yin oni bale seh!!! |
