Macphenson: OP God bless you. I saw how ignorant people were commenting on the vehicle auction thread.
Yes in as much as a lot of drivers in Lagos are crazy, a whole lot of those people whose cars were auctioned were innocent. Some roads in Lagos have no road sign, and u will see some LASTMA officials and Police stationed there waiting for ignorant people to catch and exploit them. I was once a victim.
I was driving out from the MMIA and I was called back, before getting to a particular bridge on that road, theres an opening for a U turn being used when the road was being constructed. When I got there and wanted to turn to go back to the airport, I noticed a toyota camry coming from the other side of the road and blocking me, even though there was enough space for both of us, After a while he drove off only for a hummer bus to block me and some police men and LASTMA officials jumped down in a gestapo style and rushed into my vehicle. We drove down to LASTMA office and They claimed I was driving one way, I was mad but my car was already in their yard and they were threatning me they will auction it. I have to make some calls and my car was released to me. When I was about leaving their yard, I suggested to their boss that that place should either be blocked completely or a no u turn sign placed their so that ignorant people won't keep falling prey there, he simply laughed and asked me if I want to close that "SHOP" I was simply dumb founded.
Most driveways in Lagos have zero road signs as such innocent and ignorant commuters always fall prey to those wolves in uniform.
Lagos State government should as a matter of urgency improve in their road signs especially on the mainland where there a lot of "one way" drive ways.
Can't they be taken to court?
If they stop my car in any of those one-way without a sign indicating that. I Will leave the car go take a snapshot of the entry point where there should be a signpost. Allow them to do their worst, I take them to court.

The way AAS works is very simple to understand.
Arbitrage is simply buying low in one market and selling high in another market.
In the Crypto ecosystem, this can be done between different exchanges like Binance, Okx, MEXC, Kucoin, Huobi, Coinbase, etc. For example, a coin can be selling in Binance at a price lower than its selling price in Huobi that very moment. So if you can "QUICKLY" buy from Binance and Sell in Huobi, you will make some profit.
As long as a coin is listed in an exchange that coin can be bought or sold (exchanged) instantly.
In AAS, the arbitrage trading is designed to run on 24/7 Automation using various APIs. No human agent! No clicking to trade at intervals ! No sleepless nights!
The System constantly scans all the exchanges using Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI) to spot the best arbitrage trade. It executes the trade within a minute using High Frequency Trade (HFT) mode. It makes profit, converts it to USDT and returns same to the liquidity pool in Binance. It is programmed to do up to 21 trades in a day.
Since the System uses ASI to constantly scan the markets for the best possible trade before it executes the trade with HFT, the possibility of losses in AAS trading is extremely low. AAS stands to shock the crypto arbitrage market by its performance. In a worst case scenario, the profit may be small.
An investor only needs to deposit a minimum of $20 into his AAS account wallet and watch it grow.
Withdrawal is possible at the end of each 24hr cycle within a 15min interval before another 24hr cycle begins. The processing of withdrawals is super fast, using the latest Microchip technology that can process 3.5million withdrawals per minute.
There are no withdrawal limits whatsoever, but a minimum balance of $20 should be maintained to avoid loss of your AAS acct and to continue the trade cycles and profit making. At the end of the 15mins allowed for withdrawal, the System takes all the available balance (Min $20) in the investor's wallet into the trading pool for another 24hrs trading cycle.
The appropriate time for withdrawal is determined by noting the exact time of your account activation. For example, if your account is activated at 8am, your withdrawal timeline should be between 8am to 8:15am daily.
At the end of 24hrs, 1.65% ROI + initial Capital, goes to the investor's wallet while any additional profit made is left in the liquidity pool to accommodate future increment of daily ROI % as the community grows, and to serve as shock absorber, in case the market experiences any glitch like low volatility or unusual price crash.
AAS is SOLID; it's built to last. As long as Buyers and Sellers exist in the crypto ecosystem, that creates the market for AAS. Thus, AAS will continue to make profits and create wealth for its investors??

xtivin: Let me ask one question, just 1!!! During your 8 years did you add value to yourself or improve your CV? If no, you are the problem not your director
Your question speaks volume. It's not just all about upgrading your CV or yourself. How well do you know the job. A friend of mine went for an interview conducted by some white men, with all his certificates. Himself and others who were there were asked who can handle this camera. He raised up his hand. He was instructed to take some snapshots of the interview panel. After studying the pictures he took, they started discussing how much he will like to earn. They didn't even look at his certificates. That was how he got the job. While others were dismissed.
Most Nigerian companies lay too much emphasy on your certificates and rich CV, In the developed world is what you can do to add value to the company. That is why they are far ahead of us
Gr8mike: Wow, thanks so much guys for all the comments, having discussed with my GM(we are very close), I told him I would be resigning cos I got a better offer of 350k(Lol), cos the Benin Job is like a 350k job in Lagos. He was like congratulations but I should hold on first and not tender my resignation, he would discuss with the Chairman and MD ASAP, only for me to get a call this evening from him telling me congratulations, they are willing to pay me that same 350k. This just scatter my head. Lots of thoughts running through my mind right now.
Why didn't they increase my pay all this while?
Why are they willing to suddenly pay me that same 350k?
Hope this is not a trap to just increase my work and tie me down?
You got to move, there is a hidden trap, besides that amount is nothing compared to your salary+Free food stuff+time that will be on your side to start a business. You can not work forever for someone
Gr8mike: Lolzzz, my dear, you have said it all, my friend we both graduated from UNIBEN with 150k salary has a car now, from savings over the years, lives comfortably, though he always envy the Lagos lifestyle but chose comfort than luxury. I just spoke to him and he told me to grab the opportunity with both hands as I will be getting weekly foodstuffs and won't spend a dime on feeding, transportation is 200 go come from where I plan to stay.
In Benin with your large savings within a short period, you can start a good business, that can be part of your retirement plan.
History wont speak of the great battle Nigeria fought accross Africa from cote d'viore to liberia and sudan, peace keeping after peace keeping
financing anti aparthied freedom fighters, bailing out poor nations in west africa... massively donating to regional secuirity and offering NDA kaduna as African military and leadership training center
what the west would write about nigeria is yahoo yahoo, banditry, and terrorism... they write it so well that some Nigerians have started believing the falsehood they write about them not being great men and women
Sacking workers and imposing tax will not solve the problem because the money saved will still be looted by these same set of people and their counterpart. If corruption is minimized the problem can be solved
See. Michael Johnson big head. When he was breaking records in 200 and 400 meters like water nobody talk. Now he is running his mouth like water. He is jealous

Islandlady: Nice one, I wish they can arrest these brainwashed nuisances over here in Nigeria, disturbing the peace of their community early morning
Omo, they are everywhere now as early as 5am with loud speaker on their head. You are on your sweet sleep you hear thunder on your ears and wake up suddenly
FCT Police Command thwart armed robbery attempt in Lugbe
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command said it foiled a robbery attempt by a 15-man gang at the Kapuwa area of Lugbe in the early hours of Friday.
In a statement released on Friday, the Spokesperson of the Command, Josephine Adeh, said the police responded to a distress call when members of the gang were operating in the Lugbe area.
“Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command attached to the Lugbe Divisional Police Headquarters in the wee hours of today, 8th July 2022 responded promptly to a distress call foiling an armed robbery attempt, recovered stolen items, and set criminal tail in between their legs (sic) with various degrees of gun wounds at Kapuwa, Lugbe area of the FCT.
When they passed all the checkpoints and were coming to attack the place they did not see them to arrest. When they have escaped they are now seeing them to arrest on the road. They have somehow here exposed their complicity

I read through the article titled “Peter Obi's $12.24m Investment In Breweries Now Worth $5.38m” and I saw a desperate attempt to find something negative on Peter Obi’s past. The writer obviously did not think through the implication of his deceptive title. Because there is no tangible thing to use again Peter, he had to exploit the outcome of fiscal policy and economic failure of Buhari’s administration to craft a title that the BMC crew will feast on. Obviously the BMC crew do not have the mind of their own and cannot think for themselves. Otherwise they would have understood the implication of the intellectual yahoo-yahoo displayed by the author of that article.
To put the record straight, N1.96 billion was invested and N2.24B (CBN) or (N3.28B) black market is the value today. There was no loss whichever way you want to look at it. it is disingenuous to report the values in dollars while you talk about Tinubu’s forced investment in Naira. ( https://technext.ng/2022/06/02/did-bola-tinubu-bring-econet-nigeria-2001/) In fact, you have to praise Peter for investing a company that did not go bankrupt under Buhari’s administration.
Dangote, the richest man in Africa had a net worth of $7bn as at April, 2016 as against $25bn he was worth in 2014. (https://nairametrics.com/2020/04/16/aliko-dangote-and-his-slide-from-25-billion-to-7-billion/). That was an $18bn or 72% loss incurred under Buhari’s body language induced recession. Tinubu told us he single-handedly made Buhari Nigeria’s president. Even now, with Federal governments push such as selective opening of the land bother to allow him export his products, Dangote is yet recover. His current Net is still $14.2 billion.
Going by Dangote’s experience, we now know that the company lost at least 72% of its equity value. Because we do not know the profit made as at 2014, we shall work with the investment capital which was $12.24 million. Assuming there was no growth, losing 72% means $8.81 million was lost. So as at April, 2016, the value of the investment was $3.43 million. This company has without any government’s incentive grown the $3.43 million by $1.95 million to get $5.38 million. That is 36% growth in 6 years under Buhari’s hash economy. That tells you that Peter is an investor and wealth creator.
The writer of the article actually shot Buhari and Tinubu(Buhari’s Godfather) on the back because he just highlighted the damage Buhari has done to our economy.
wonlasewonimi: This is actually a lie. The naval officer is well known to me. This woman and her husband are just making up stories and are looking for ways to tarnish the the good image of the innocent officer.
Ballzproblemm: a speculative asset , made valuable by bunch of gamblers. that Called themselves investors , , I no they pity anybody wey lose money ,cause the truth is that that virtual coin has no real worth
Tell that to the gods. If you don't know, you don't know.
