Well,
I was shortlisted base on merit.
I paid no single dime to any body neither did i promised anybody a dime.
Many factors worked in my favour e.g
i didn't see a single applicant from my LGA.
Though, i came with all the requirement also my height, chest size was satisfactory.
I was interviewed by a lenient Lady that naturally liked me for no reason (because after all the smiles she gave me she didn't collect my number! lolz)
Above all,
Seriously, I was just lucky and furtunate.
I've been frustrated by the Nigerian Navy for five years (5 failed attempts).
Infact, i reluctantly gave the NIS a trial, i even registered few days before the registration closed.
Now, here i stand among the few selected.
We were not the most qualified or only qualified applicants.... Its just a thing of being furtunate among the qualified majority.
To the qualified but not selected ones.... Just don't relent.
Your glory will surely come.

I promised you guys that as soon as i recieve the mail i will indicate... Well, my-poeple, i've recieved it oh.... On 25th of may this Lasgidi-nigga will be in Orlu, Imo state.
Wow... It will be thriling, my 1st time at the east.
But one thing that keeps troubling me is
Are we starting training immediately or we will come back home and later go for the 4 to 6 months training

That reminds me,
I was thinking maybe you are that overweight/hefty lady that entered the parade ground and all hell was let loose with laughter and funny jokes .... You remember her right?.... I know she will be scared of the race just like you so the thought just flashed through my mind "is that FourFunmi ? hahaha.
I was number 98. All through the exercise, i was starving. ThankGod for that woman that started selling water n co, her bottled water calmed my nerves.
I was suprise that they didn't ask me any question abt my self except the interviewer that only asked me "whats my age, i told him and he stared at me and said i should say the truth, i laughed and said Yes sir thats my age....he just scanned through all my documents (i came with all the required documents) he scanned through and gave them all to me and said i can go.
I galantly went out of the office, picked my white canvass and zoomed out to the nearest boka.

I don't think so. For instance if you have a good conduct they can score you 8 or 9 etc, whereas if the column for financial problem is graded 8, it means you have a serious financial problem.
They are grading based on number

I heard that we will do blood test, another test to know if we can read and write very well (Not abbreviated writings)
also, we will run some Kilomiters...(I knw i'll come first on that)
Document verification will be done first and other will follow suit.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Be a Nigerian citizen by birth or descent;
2. Not less than 18 years or more than 35 years of age;
3. Not less than 1.7 metres (5.57 ft) in height for male and 1.64 metres (5.38 ft) for female;
