An Average Nigerian is always complaining; very typical of ingrates! Despite the fact that power supply has improved throughout the country in the past 10months, some people still find it easy to be ranting online, simply because their preferred candidate lost the 2015 presidential election. |

Politics › Re: Can We Break Loose From Kwara? by Philistine(m): 10:14am On Jul 26, 2017 |
bakynes: See this one so the Yorubas that border Ondo and Edo state (the Akoko Edo) should be giving out or what are you saying. I said Itsekiri will be approached if they want to join us or not since they are decendants of Oodua too and we have a similar language. The so called Akoko Edo, did they tell you they are Yoruba or related to Odua? Why attracting unnecessary insult to yourself? Have you ever seen an itsekiri or an Akoko Edo person come out openly to say he is Yoruba? It seems u are not different from those people from the other side who are scared of standing alone. |
Politics › Re: Can We Break Loose From Kwara? by Philistine(m): 9:36am On Jul 26, 2017 |
bakynes: That is why dividing this country into Ethnic independent countries will be an herculean task, because you will find up to 20 different nations from Nigeria alone.
Check out the map of ethnic nations from the third page of this thread.
The United Nation cannot split Nigeria into 20 nations some similar Ethnic nations will have to come together to form a country.
Hausa-Fulani-Kanuri-Gwari etc will have to form one country
Yoruba-Egun-Itsekiri another Country
Edo-Urhobo another country
Igbo-Ikwerre-Ndoni- Etche another country
Ijaw another country
Tiv another country
Idols another country.
At least 10 countries our of Nigeria. Which one is Yoruba-itsekiri, pls stop inviting unnecessary insults to Odua! Haba! |

bakynes: The battle will only happen in Ilorin since they already sold their birthright to the Fulani, they can have Ilorin for all I care but the rest part of Kwara up to Jebba and kabba in Kogi and Niger state respectively is coming with the SW to form the Ooduwa nation. Our brothers in Akoko edo too will join only the Itsekiri people will be approached if they want to join or not. Abeg stop attaching Yoruba's to Edo and itsekiri, attache by force or unity begging is not in our character.pls kindly desist. Sw+okun+Yoruba kwara is all we have ! |

baysol: What value? Crime and money loving? Abeg the most progressive people today are the yorubas (great people great culture) and are the least discriminatory. Its not that yorubas really need anyone but if Nigeria should break it will be wise to follow the yorubas as it will produce a stronger nation that have been elusive in Nigeria since 1960. Think and be wise don't be intimidated and make wrong decisions. Lobatan. U are a big disgrace to all intelligent Omo Odua! |

SoldierBoy1: This guy is speaking about what he does not know... Ibadan is a very large city with a lot of rural areas but also much more developed urban areas... So he should stop all these derogatory comments because they're not true(guys who stay in Ibadan know this)... This should really not be coming from a fellow tribe man.. Is he trying to bring Ibadan down or what?... Though we have a not so functioning governor at the moment but does not mean Ibadan is dead.... A lot of times and even in school I hear guys who have never stepped foot in Ibadan commenting negatively about it then I ask them have you ever been to Ibadan and most of them say no... At the end of the day I discover their points are based on what they read or saw on social media posted by some hater... Really for those who still hold the view that Ibadan is a slum, stop believing the social media representation and take time out to visit yourself. God Bless Ibadan, God bless Oyo State, God bless Nigeria. The truth is majority saying negative things about the city have never been to ibadan, they base their judgement from what they hear on social media, igbos and fools like this fayose brother contribute a lot to such |

It seems imbecility runs in fayose's family,so because shoprite has broken doors,u see abandoned buildings and portholes,u now assume the city is dead? Which state in the country does not have the aforementioned? |

Drogbs: That's a projected stats, we both know there is no way Igbos will edge the yorubas numerically in a yoruba institution, yet the stats don't do you so much justice. How is it s Yoruba institution? Can't you guys reason clearly for Christ sake? Admission criteria into CU is open to all and sundry.Advantage Is not given to any tribe. |

Politics › Re: Igbo Students Dominate Covenant University 1st Class Graduates List Pic by Philistine(m): 5:43pm On Jul 22, 2017 |
J Drogbs: I wouldn't be too happy if I were yoruba...the stats don't do yorubas much credit as much as one would expect(going by the usual media noise of them wanking off to the delusion of been the most educated, astute, sophisticated..blah blah blah), the biostats from the index of graduates compiled so far shows a more evenly distributed ethnic demographic between Igbos and Yorubas(with yorubas having a marginal edge in some departments of students listed)...but these is to be expected in a school that is yoruba dominated numerically at least, owned by a charitable Yoruba, and also located on a yoruba turf...so if anything the Igbos didn't do badly at all and represented admirably well...for a tribe yorubas funnily think are not into education but business and commerce, I bet Igbo states will top the waec and jamb index if released in due time ONCE AGAIN, the thread title no doubt was unnecessary and premature in its devious ethnic baiting antics as usual. The real question is, can yorubas COMPLETELY edge the Igbos if it were a school located in a non yoruba state? Let this sink in...Covenant University is a yoruba dominated institution for obvious reasons, yet strangers on your turf gave a good fight in the academic facet...which is the case for every indices of achievement in the South West as a whole....I would want someone to compile the graduating set of other top institutions in other states in Nigeria and lets see on a neutral basis, which ethnic group will outperform the other... So you deliberately opened a new account just to type this gibberish, why not use your old moniker. Shameless Igbos! |
