9jalyte: Good, FG in question is in far away Abuja. As we speak now, everyone in Abuja is going about their normal business. They will be eating their roasted fish and Hero this evening. They will sleep very well this night, but you have with you people who are violent with blood in their eyes. Trust me, they can kill for any reason, because it is now a hobby. The day there is no Soldier to kill, they will face you. The day they want to exercise the power of the barrel, it will be on your head their. Keep hailing them, thinking that they are winning wars for you.
Learn from the past, Bakasi boys were being hailed for what they were doing until they got tired and wanted to use their gun and power for side hustle. Go and asked what they metamorphosed into. Be careful what you praise, that's how it starts. Ask those in the North, unfortunately we do not study patterns and history, that's why we are as risked of being two-times victims. After all these sermon, what have you said to the FG that according to you is sleeping and dinning in Abuja while holding Kanu? All of us in the South are now scared of the crises in the North that Metamorphosed from mishandling of Boko Haram case. Same way you are now silent while the govt is mishandling IPOB case again while blaming those seemingly supporting IPOB. Killing soldiers is bad same way FG being silent while its actions are exacerbating the crises is also bad. |

Politics › Re: Terrorism In South East And The Complicit Silence Of Celebrities by PHIPEX(m): 8:48pm On Apr 07, 2022 |
truthCoder: The OP asked a simple question “why are celebrities silent as terrorism grows in the east?”
Your own answer is that fewer people have died in the east than in Benue so there is no problem.
The only reason anyone not of eastern extract would be concerned is that despite what you as in individual might project, we are all citizens of this country together. Anything that happens to someone in Abia affects the person in Sokoto too.
Ekpa and his thugs are a problem and the earlier you realize this common sense, the better Why has the OP not raised same question about the terrorism in Kaduna? The question appeared harmless but the OP is the most trinalistic and anti-Igbo person on this platform so his question has dirty intent. |

Eriokanmi: Nice . Any news carried by reuters is confirmed!
Seriously, I still wonder why Russia was given so much power by the west in the past to misbehave thus way. Russia is jist 2 points ahead of Nigeria in oil endowment. Russia is 8th in the world while Nigeria is 10th. They earn over 1b usd from gas sales.
I guess the west hates blacks else they'd have considered Nigeria for their gas dependency instead of going to Russia. Our bonny lite crude was adjudged the best in the world so, why are the west not buying from us as much as they do Russia and other countries of like-colour? I'm sure some people would ignorantly cite corruption but Nigeria wasn't this corrupt as far back as 90s and some western countries were even more corrupt than Nigeria as of then.
2ndly, our soil is more virile for farming than that of Russia. Here we don't always need fertiliser to grow crops especially down south.
Unfortunately for Russia, instead of using the gas proceeds to better the lots of their people, they were busy using it to stockpile weapons. My cousin who schooled in Russia and speaks their language like locals had to leave there after his studies . He said there's nothing in that country , no jobs . He left for America instead.
Back to the matter, why have we not received as much patronage as russua by the west on our crude and gas sale? If its construction of gas pipeline that's an issue, glo and mainOne had proved many wrong by channeling their Internet submarine cables from Europe down to Nigeria, which many banks and corporate bodies now depend on. We could have achieved our gas pipeline to Europe through North Africa. I think the west hates us. Opinion needed and please be civi Maybe geographical proximity and historic ties is a factor. Same way African countries would obviously buy more from Nigeria than Russia. |

famzynet: I hate these politicians when they talk to much. What infrastructure in Anambra can be attributed to Obi as governor for 8 years? Believe these politicans at your own peril. They are just after their pockets. Anambra still has a lot of jobless youths despite that he was governor for 8 years. How will he then eradicate poverty from Nigeria if he could not salvage his own state? Oga, Anambra has the lowest unemployment rate in Nigeria by official statistics, isn't that enough proof he knows what he is saying. Obi came in when Anambra was in crises after Ngige left and made Anambra an enviable state till date. He was fantastic in all sectors including roads and education which makes Anambra sit top in Education report in Nigeria today. If Nigeria wants to move forward, Obi has the Answer, the rest are politicians who will continue the status quo. |

Politics › Re: Kaduna Train Attack: BBC Describes Terrorists As 'Gang' by PHIPEX(m): 10:46am On Mar 30, 2022 |
BluntTheApostle: It is at best a gang.
Bandits have shown many times to be after money. They kidnap people and ask for ransom.
They have never demonstrated any ideologies, religious stance, or anything close to political objectives. They have no political or religious objectives.
While terrorists attack civilians to strike fear (terror), usually in a bid to promote some ideology or religious view, a gang (such as bandits) are fighting primarily for their pockets.
Major difference between Boko Haram (a terror group) and bandits (an organized group of criminals)
While Boko strike terror in the hearts of civilians to achieve a religious objective (such as the end of Western education, the advancement of Sharia law, etc), bandits are armed robbers who have no political or religious objectives to achieve. They just want to make money.
If a terrorist group attacks a bank, it does so primarily to strike fear. If a gang of armed robbers attack a bank, it does so to steal money.
A terror group and a well organized group of criminals can carry out sophisticated attacks. If it is as straight forward as what you explained, are you saying the FG was wrong to have designated same "gang" as terrorists which was done few months ago? Are you saying the Global terrorism index is also wrong to have designated the Fulani Herdsmen as one of the top terrorist organisations globally since they are all not pursuing a political or religious ideology? |
