Politics › Re: Past & Present Heads Of State Of Nigeria By Geo-political Zone by PHIPEX(m): 3:48pm On Jan 31, 2022
Many people on social media think Nigeria started in 1999. Except if the word Justice does not exist in Nigeria will anyone justify dening the South East their slot in 2023 then it will become a fight to finish for all regions. That will also mark the end of any thing called power sharing in Nigeria.

If you feel rotation does not matter then both the president and his vice can also come from same region.

You had better face reality.

It has more to do with higher northern population.
Why is Lagos not having the highest number of applicants since it's based on population?
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: 104,403 Northerners, 23,088 Southerners Apply For 2021 Police Recruitment by PHIPEX(m): 12:41pm On Jan 31, 2022
It seems the number of applicant is in line with the unemployment rate across the states.

The higher the unemployment rate the higher the application to police force. grin

The South is always in the habit of complicating things for itself.
No party in the past have ever micro zoned their presidential ticket.

In fact the past two successive Presidents (Yar'Adua & Buhari) from the North do not only come from one zone the NW but from the same state Katsina. Northerners from the other two zones NE & NC are not crying of marginalization cus they understand the game of politics, but down south the case is different.
That's because it's not just about party politics. Nigeria stands on a tripod; Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba.

My rent is currently 8% of my income. I don't think anyone should cross 20% otherwise, you might not be able to save anything in a year as a family person.

Just start work when you get there
There is something called headline index. I learnt it from Soludo as CBN governor. The headline news can drive economy especially the stock market.

This news alone can make some people consider Innoson vehicle, it's all about perception.

You did the right thing by hanging it over to the estate security...
That's why it's ridiculous seeing our security agents burn properties of suspected thieves, the real owner might not be aware his property was being used for such.

Properties › I Found Stolen Iron Rods Hidden In My Property By Contractors by PHIPEX(op): 10:16am On Jan 27, 2022
So yesterday I went to clear the bushes around my site only to stumble on so many iron rods stolen and hidden on my land. My surprise was on the large quantity of both 14mm and 16mm rods the thief had the mind to steal from one person, it is large enough to open iron rod shop. Thank God it is a gated Estate, am sure they could not figure out how to move it out of the Estate.

I had to call the Estate security to carry it. I might not know how the Estate will locate the owner since a lot of people are building in the area but at least the thief will gain nothing from it. If someone else had discovered it in my property they would have thought I was the thief.

This how some of them give ridiculous quotes and steal half of the materials

What type of question is this? You think western countries looks at where you're from before giving anyone an appointment? Are you daft?
So why are we concerned about where the lady comes from if she can do the job?

SportsHD:
Why do black reason like this? So because she enjoys our culture and traditions, vlog about our culture, that puts her in a post to be given an appointment by soludo?

Because I don't see a point in what you just wrote.

If that's the case, then go and marry a woman in swiss, be passionate about their culture and traditions and see if you would be given a political slot because of that.

I don't even know why this is up for debate.

colonial mentalism is still worrying most of us in this country.

That's how schools also grant favors to white kids in this Nigeria just because their skin is white. But, wouldn't do the same for a black kid.

Talking about being an hypocrite, would your people allow an Hausa man to be a commissioner in your state?

We get elected there because we worked for it, and their people decided to put them there. Here, they are just given a post here just because of their skin tone.

Would we even be talking about this if she was a black swiss?
Don't y'all know about white privileges?

Ordinary cigarettes wey I go dey mall parking lot dey smoke, police would come harassing me. But a Chinese man would smoke his cigarettes and enter the same mall and the cop won't do shit, he would even greet him again.

Una go dey lick white man's ass. Na why the Nigerian policeman driving a white man would hit your car and still come down and assault you for it.
That's why the Chinese are mining our resources in our backyards.

Mfs worshipping white heads that don't give a fuvck about them.
What qualifies an Igbo man to be given a post in Canada?

Double standard, you root for the south on the account of zoning but discount same zoning within the South. If you want zoning, go the full lenght, if you prefer merit stand full ground, don't switch when it pleases you.

Makinaki:
Power isn't dished out a-la-carte, my friend. It is up to the Southeast to build bridges and alliances with other zones to attain the power they crave so desperately. And to be honest, no Igbo politician alive today has done even a scintilla of that.
Insult Tinubu all you like, the man has built and continues to build bridges and forming the alliances that will get him the Presidency he desires.
Greed, which alliance did Obasanjo build while in Prison, was he even around when PDP was formed yet he became their first president? Greed kills
Politics › Re: Abdulsalami Abubakar Trust TV Interview: I Advised Obasanjo Not To Join Politics by PHIPEX(m):
This reminds me of the story of the unworthy servant who was forgiven, when he became powerful he could not forgive others in the Bible. The South West benefitted from the benevolence of other Nigerians in 1999, now they feel powerful and wants it all or nothing, time will tell.

But for that benevolence that allowed AD to be registered when it was not fit, there wouldn't have been APC today. That same benevolence saw Obasanjo being fielded by PDP few months out of prison, not because he merited it but for peace to reign, these all mean nothing now, it now appears as if it had been merit all along. The same AD and APP presented Olu Falae for president, So Nigeria major parties presented 2 Yoruba men in 1999 who technically were not qualified based on benevolence. They now want to Judge Igbos strictly on merit grin
Christianity Etc › Re: Prince Dele Banjo Protests At Deeper Life Headquarters Over Unconventional Music by PHIPEX(m): 12:06pm On Jan 23, 2022
This man is wearing eye-glass, is it Biblical? The Hymn he is referring to, if he knew some of those that wrote them personally he would have still referred to them as unrighteous.

I like Deeper life but I dislike the "we against them'" mentality which makes them see themselves as the only righteous or puritan Christians. But of course, he has lived that way for ages and it might take him a while to adjust to the changes happening around him. He stood and worshipped inside a church that was constructed by "sinners". Did he ask if the workers of the company that built that church were all born-again before he agreed to worship inside?

You have a very strong point, make everywhere look unsafe then create a corridor to "safely" mine the gold

they are officially gazetted terrorist organisation just like ISIS and Boko Haram. If a house has been identified as their base it can be eliminated just as they bomb terrorist bases in the forest.

I dont think IPOB and its followers understand the implication of being declared a terrorist organisation. it means normal rules of engagement do not aply and anything goes!!!
It's obvious you are yet to build your own house. When did ESN start building houses?

Hmmmm... A lot seems off with all of this really.
1. How and what do u think they can change in the party constitution to manipulate it

2. Please don't use Nigeria as a case study

3. Inec funds? Or you really mean Nigeria does not have enough to fund direct primaries

4. Talking of bribe: Don't you think it will cost even more to bribe ur through in a direct primary than an indirect primary where u only av a few people to convince
5. Please mention the contries we are trying to emulate then we can proceed with the argument from there.
We have been emulating the US in most of our democratic processes yet even US as experienced as they are have not made direct primaries compulsory. Direct primary is good but contentious for now.
Politics › Re: (Opinion) The Positive Effect Of Open Direct Primaries In Nigeria Democracy. by PHIPEX(m): 9:17pm On Jan 16, 2022
Israeljones:
Please can you expantiate more by highlighting some of the big issues direct election has...
1. If you make it compulsory the political parties must change their own constitutions to reflect it. This will take over a year to happen and undermine 2023 election
2. It has never stopped electoral fraud, eg Anambra APC primary election
3. INEC does not have the fund to conduct such across the country for over 80political parties
4. The parties don't have a reliable register of members, every tom dick and harry can still claim membership and vote
5. Anyone with enough money power can still bribe his way through and win. The biggest money power wins.
6. The countries we are emulating are yet to make it compulsory because they know the challenges involved.
Politics › Re: (Opinion) The Positive Effect Of Open Direct Primaries In Nigeria Democracy. by PHIPEX(m): 8:30pm On Jan 16, 2022

The largest democracies in the world; India and USA don't because it has huge challenges.

This National Assembly is wasting our time and an opportunity to make reasonable progress with our electoral process. This direct primary thing is completely uncalled for except for their selfish gains.

Even America does not practice direct primary for primary elections.
