Isrealnetbiz, I went to your blog. The link couldn't produce the appropriate post. Please rectify. |
You will need to have your company registered and also deposit 150,000 in a Zenith bank account. They make it look like a Merchant-business account. It does not have the feature of each one completely. Go to their website interswitchng.com and try to locate the contact link or send inquiry to info[at]interswitchng.com |
I have not been having problem with funding mastercard - I do it through online banking and it enters almost immediately. However, I think that their customer care/card services call should have a flat call rate per call because you have to load so much card to call them because they may have to hold you when checking you details and other things - that could take an unpredictable amount of time. But for customer care to be calling customers back if credit finishes might not be profitable because they will have to do that a lot per day, And that will cost a lot. Network/server issues that shut transactions for a whole day at times should also be checked and ended. GTB have some work to do but it is still a very good bank, Even as I am replying to this post right from my office, I am hearing a lot of good things about this bank and a number of people are deciding right now at this moment to move their accounts there because of worse experiences at other banks. I just think they need to keep their good reputation intact by working on various problems. |
You may want to check this link https://www.paypal.com/helpcenter/main.jsp;jsessionid=fbXPLJyBBnr9hG74TkgMnGxF02JnZBYy7p340FQyx2FRzCnJ1WTn!-927314022?locale=en_US&_dyncharset=UTF-8&countrycode=CY&cmd=_help&serverInstance=9020&t=solutionTab&ft=browseTab&ps=solutionPanels&solutionId=10809&isSrch=Yes The credit card you used in verifying your Paypal account should work. |
The reason why a normal pass photo won't work is; they'll need to have your name and photograph in a verifiable document - to confirm you truly bear that name. That's why National Id card, International passport and D/License are used. I can't precisely remember how long mine took but it didn't take long, 3 days max. It all depends though on the applications they have at hand at that moment, but shouldn't take more that a week. To withdraw, you can withdraw through exchangers or check (sent through mail), Or to your domiciliary account since the banks use US and Europe banks. See your bank customer care for details. |
Hi Damiolad, Just a few tips, If you use a website, you will have more control over your content, And you can start building your traffic early because at some point you will want to consider having your own domain name and you will have to start building your traffic from the scratch. In the process you will lose some of your regular readers. For example you may be able to separate internet marketing section and health section and make your widgets correspond to what you have in each section. You do not really want sesame street showing up in internet marketing section or furniture showing up in health and fitness section Also, if you load your website with too much scripts (and widgets), it may take too much time to load. If that happens your visitors will leave your website without reading your content. |
Hi Your "terms and condition" page is missing. You may want to check it out. Ok. I just discovered the link is not well formatted. You may also try to beef it up. Just check the TOS/privacy of different websites and pick things you may want to add and drop the ones that do not apply to your website. |
Being an entrepreneur is a very difficult things. It takes only a few people to succeed, The reasons are: - at some point you get tired of struggling and you'll be on the verge of quitting. - at times you won't have any idea about what to do next. Your idea bank runs dry - there is always a lot to do that you get confused about what to do next since you have to do it all by yourself especially if you don't have the capital to outsource your jobs or keep staff who can make you job easier. - unwillingness to do extra work - quitting easily after a failure - Taking too high a risk that you can't recover from your loss if in case, The list goes on and on. Though the benefit can be great in the end but initially you will have to put in a lot of work, and as a matter of fact you can only learn from experience. You won't have that experience if you are not ready to take risks and accept failure(s) that come, & try again (differently though to avoid getting same result) That failure(s) is inevitable. It's just that you'll need extra work and to keep learning (read a lot) business strategies because you never want to run dry if ideas. it is easy to lose focus if you don't know what to do next. burafato:To register, lawyer can do it for you and faster that you doing it yourself. |
It's not that difficult. Anything representing your ID and address is accepted e.g. Drivers license and bank statement. Just scan and upload. |
Well it is possible you gave out your ATM details to scammers. Probably you responded to a fake email message purported to be from your bank , Or those fake MTN online promos. Those are some of the ways ATM details are collected. You may report to deactivate your ATM card and get another one. But issue here is money payable through ATM is usually restricted some 40k some banks more. I think the scammers well selected the branch where they withdraw from - probably that branch do not restrict the maximum amount payable through the ATM. |
Please can anyone show me how to set different landing pages for website visitors from different IPs? Thanks. |
Hello everyone, Please who has tried to order with the Graphcard VISA on either Paypal or Clickbank? I wish to know if the order was successfully processed or not. Thanks. |
Your best option is still to get a credit card from Nigeria. GTB is about $100 to open the account. These are pre-paid master cards. They are not the best but better than none. The number of websites accepting Nigerian cards are reducing by the day. In july 2008, Amazon would still accept your credit card but today, no more. Early last year, Clickbank would process your card if you select US as your country, but today once their system tell them your IP is from Nigeria, you'll start seeing all sorts of diplomatic answers. Clickbank would tell you "cannot process card at this time", Amazon will tell you to they don't ship to your country. However, many web hosts will not process your card too. but if you contact them after your card has been declined, they may give you other options of payment. They may tell you to fax them the front and back of the of the card(make sure your signature is at the back of the card), or you may request if they will accept the scanned copy of it through email. It really gets difficult when they tell you to send them western union or to a bank account because it costs you more, so you rather choose another host. Personally, this host has been quite easy for me with unlimited bandwidth and diskspace and a dedicated customer support among other things. the only thing I would have loved is a cPanel console. But it has been very reliable, no down times. http://savvystand.com/3rdparty/ixhost |
I think you should make advertising possible through Nairaland and make people pay for it. Usually, dedicated ad sites don't bring results(much results) at this age. The ads are only seen by people who are trying to post ads, nobody(more like not many people) goes about looking for ads to read! Have you read attention age II by Rich Schrefen? Anyway I think ads are always better on utilities e.g. Yahoo!, CNN, etc and would be on Nairaland. I would be glad to be one of your first customers. |
Try using ixhosting.com or hostgator.com. I use ixhosting but many people also speak well of hostgator. whatever you decide, don't go vodahost. They are having problems with some of their disks. |
Afam, I am not sure if I have ever posted something in your posts because I never can stand the trend the discussion goes, but I noticed a trend in your posts. It's like you attract the type of response you get to your posts. This is not a matter of being a webmaster or whatever, It's about life itself. It's your ability to absorb criticism without feeling too bad about it. It's poor. Please work on it. However, the Nairaland Webmaster's forum got this lot of contributors because there is no suitable forum for them. The business forum could have had a section for internet marketing, graphic design and some other topics that get posted on the Webmaster's section, May be because of the rules, setup and response people get from other forums. I am in fact saying not many people on the Webmasters forum are so savvy in being a webmaster, But Afam take note; that you are not an architect does not mean you wouldn't know what your dream house should look like. If everyone could afford to outsource every design job, they'll rather prefer that option to going through the webmaster's trouble of doing/learning it themselves and they'll get the job done better than they can do it themselves(I hope you understand me). However, farewell. |
1. You need to automate the website. Non-automation is not good for business, it will cost you more, in time and resources. 2. Lighten it up, It looks too dark. 3. Get some better graphics. 4. I'm not used to see dating site(or likes) designed from a centralized table of that width, Add more content and spread it out. 5. Your website title says 'forum', I have not seen that happening yet. Good start though. |
Thanks niyyie, Got it. |
Hi. Please can anyone show me how to prevent visits from all IPs to a directory on a website, with the exception of a specified few through HTACCESS file? Thanks. |
I just wonder how they plan to pay members because they are not explicit about how they will be sourcing for money to pay members, Except if members will have to start paying for the service at some point. This however will lead to making some members quit the system and at the end of the day, they'll not be able to pay members, And if they want to be paying members through Ads served, that will be a lot of competition with sites like instant buzz and free traffic bar that has alexa ranking of 26,484 and 51,762 respectively. I believe an advertiser will have to be non-informed to advertise through that toolbar, except if it is extremely cheap, And if it's extremely cheap you know what that means. Personally, I just don't think they'll pay, and if they pay, they may not be able to keep paying, just like Agloco couldn't survive. However, it may be worth trying when it is still at the ground floor but I am not sure when the site have been in existence. It has been registered since 1999 though. |
sunmbo2004:That's a cliche, please don't fall for that stuff (with due respect Sunbo2004) You either need a very relevant site that will naturally have traffic or you need to drive traffic to it, best through PPC Ads. Else if you drive traffic through any other means Google may close your adsense account. They'll say your adsense account pose risk to their adwords advertisers. However, there are so may ways to make money from articles, not only through adsense. or example, your article submission to article site like ezinearticles may indirectly sell your other product or offers. You may pick some of this guys ideas in this ebook; http://www.onlineincomepointer.com/free_download/hcs.pdf If you require more info or free/cheap resources you may contact me at firihe[at]yahoo.com for some suggestions. I don't want to crowd this post with so much words or assume I know exactly what you have in mind. |
Webguru, Please let me know how it goes. I have been thinking about this for some time now, I just don't want to go through the stress of setting it up by myself. You may contact me at firihe[at]yahoo.com |
I can hook you up with someone I believe you should talk to. I can't give up his contact address here on this forum. Send me a mail to firihe[at]yahoo.com. Goodluck! |
HELSINKI (Reuters) - Emails containing malicious PDF files have been putting computers at risk since Friday, Finnish security software firm F-Secure said on Saturday. "The emails sent in bulk looked like credit card statements, and contained an attachment called 'report.pdf'," its chief research officer Mikko Hypponen said in a statement. When such PDF files are viewed on vulnerable machines, they start downloading software from servers in Malaysia or Sweden, which are now being cleaned, he said. "There will be more such attacks." "We are worried about this case, as PDF attachments are typically not filtered at email gateways." A security update for Acrobat Reader, which opens PDF files, was made available a few days ago, but many users have not updated the program yet, Hypponen said. , This news is culled from http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071027/wr_nm/computers_virus_dc |
It's possible that you are using a dial-up connection. Just try login into the account from another server, cafe or, you know? |
