The great Ojukwu has fought and lost the war and we can only remember him for that and the Igbos have moved on since from there, because war is not a good thing.
The question is how many Igbo Man today will follow this guy? Unfornately in this part of the world nothing like Hero and if you die na saara o!

Politics › Gov. El-rufai, Opponent Of Subsidy Removal In 2012, Reacts To Petrol Price Hike by PhockPhockMan(op): 8:50pm On May 12, 2016*. Modified: 9:17pm On May 12, 2016 |
Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has appealed for calm a day after the federal government scrapped fuel subsidy and increased the price of petrol from N86.50 to N145 a litre. Mr. El-Rufai was a prominent voice against a similar policy in 2012 when the former administration of Goodluck Jonathan announced removal of subsidy and petrol price increase. The announcement, Wednesday, by the minister of state for petroleum, Ibeh Kachikwu, has generated controversy. Many Nigerians have condemned the price hike, and have questioned the sincerity of politicians who opposed the policy in the past, but, as members of the present administration, are in support of the latest decision. In what appeared his first response, through a Kaduna State government statement, Mr. El-Rufai urged calm and praised the orderly response of Kaduna people to the new policy. “The Kaduna State Government wishes to appeal for calm. It commends the people for the orderly response to the fuel price adjustment by the Federal Government, and requests their continued patience for the supply of petroleum products to improve,” the statement said. The statement also spoke on the arrest of beggars in the state. Mr. El-Rufai said the prohibition of begging law will not take effect until after 60 days. The statement added that it is the police that is currently undertaking arrests within Kaduna as part of security operations directed by the Inspector General of Police. “The Kaduna State Government has not directed the police to enforce the begging law, which is not due to come into force yet. Malam Nasir El-Rufai has repeatedly stated that rehabilitation opportunities would be offered for the disabled. The State Executive Council has just approved a Disability Policy, which is a necessary precursor to the drafting of any bill or other measures to promote the rights of the disabled. “However, the Kaduna State Government is not in a position to impede security operations that are adjudged necessary by the security agencies. “As part of preparations for the regional security summit, the Police Commands of States within the neighbourhood of Abuja which includes Kaduna, Niger and Nasarawa states and the FCT, are undertaking security operations. This includes actions to remove street beggars, hawkers and all abandoned vehicles along the major roads. “These police actions have nothing to with the Kaduna State Government. The government is engaging with the police on behalf of all residents of the state, including the disabled, for a proper management of the situation,” the statement said. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/203331-gov-el-rufai-opponent-subsidy-removal-2012-reacts-petrol-price-hike.html |

Some Weeks after Buhari took over as president of Nigeria, there was some sort of improvement on power supply. Instead of giving honour to whom it's due in that sector, We started hearing Buhari Body language this, Body odour that , without any concrete explanation on how he achieved that. Today, the Jonathan's power road map has been abandoned, leaving the sector with no direction.
We're back to dark days.
For my area, we've been without light for over One Week now. The annoying part of it is the ban placed by Inspector General on buying petrol in jerry can. I can't remember the last time I used ICE BLOCK to cool my drinks, I did that today.
I HOPE THINGS GETS BETTER.

Gunmen at the weekend killed 83 cows at Adayi in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The Fulani community leader, Mallam Bideri Ahmadu, who addressed reporters in Loko, alleged that Agatu youths crossed over from Benue State about 10:30am last Saturday.
He said the suspects had wanted to “rustle the cows in their boats across River Benue, but the cattle went berserk because of sporadic shootings.”
Ahmadu said: “Upon realising they could not achieve their aim, the Agatu youth opened fire on the cows, killing 83. The injured ones are in the bush.” The Mai Loko, Alhaji Abubakar Ahmed Sabo, said in the last few weeks, over 20 men, women and children were killed during attacks on Fulani people by Agatu youths from Benue State.
He said the Loko Development Area has only two police officers with no rifles and appealed for more security presence.
Sabo urged the Fulani not to retaliate because the government was looking into the crisis. www.thenationonlineng.net/gunmen-kill-20-persons-83-cows-nasarawa/ |

Dead bodies are littered all over the place. 3. Death toll is now at 793. Those alive may not live up to the next 24 hours. This is so because they are badly wounded, and the hope for survival is doubtful. 4. We are not allowed to take pictures. These men are doing everything possible to stop us from taking pictures. life for jungle no easy! You are free to count the dead bodies, but not free to take pictures. 5. The attack was well launched because those men in force stationed there communicated effectively with the so called Fulani, before they attacked."

The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grandfather Othman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the north as willing tools and the south as a conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us and never allow them to have control over their future."
