If you are after a raise, there are some things you must know before you ask for one. With that, here are some key points to keep in mind when trying to negotiate a merit increase.
First, you surely want to make sure that you are asking for an increase in pay at the right time. If you received an increase in pay not too long ago, or within the last six months, you may want to wait a while.
A good time to ask for an increase in pay is after a year or after a job switch. Another good time to ask for a merit increase is when you receive an increase in responsibility. Now, do not immediately ask for a pay increase, but wait about six months (as previously stated).
If you have been in an acting leadership position for over half of a year, you should be financially rewarded. Or, you should be promoted to that position permanently. Whenever you take your conversation to your boss to ask for a raise,make sure you have hard reasons for your wish. Be able to talk about the improvements you have made for the organization. Be able to talk about the people you have promoted or trained into new positions.
Be able to talk about the increase in profits the company has experienced due to a direct influence from you. Also (as stated earlier), be able to talk about any higher role of responsibility you voluntarily held and administered well. As you ask for your raise, do not make it personal. Instead, make it strictly about the business.
Do not say that you need more money to pay for personal expenses. Do not say that you want a pay increase in order to continue working for the company, or you will leave. Never say that you want a higher pay rate because somebody you know is making more money than you.
Last but not the least, have a plan explaining what more you look forward to doing after you receive your raise. Show how you dedicated you are to the company. Let them know that after your raise you will not stop working as hard as you currently do. Ensure your boss that your raise will be kept confidentially between yourself, them, and the Human Resources department.
As you can see, there are some key ways to ask for a raise that almost make it hard for your boss to say no. Therefore, execute the actions above and hopefully you will be on your way to a higher income.

Last but not the least, have some questions for the interviewer. Questions about what a typical workday consists of and does the company have education benefits will make you standout when inquiring about them.

I have been through many interviews in my life as a professional. I have also read a couple of books and articles on interviewing and tips for answering interview questions.

I can honestly tell you that most of the interviews I participated in and books and articles I read shared five things in common.

Those five things are five common interview questions and ways to answer them.

The first question that will more than likely be asked of you is for you to tell the person hosting the meeting about yourself.

This is your time to show your personality. The person or people in front of you do not know you so you can really make a good first impression. Therefore, when you answer the question, let them know the good things about yourself and be sure to include your education.

The next question may pertain to your job experience. When you answer the question, do not just tell the person or people hosting the interview where you worked.

Take it further by explaining your previous or current positions, how you got hired, and any achievements that you made. Then, you may be asked to explain what makes you a good candidate for the job you are applying for.

As you respond, make sure your response includes all previous experience that has prepared you for the job opening. Also, include any relevant education that will help you to succeed at the position you are seeking to be hired into.

One of the last questions you may be asked is what you will do in a tough situation. The interviewer may give you a scenario then ask you to respond with what your course of action would be.

Make your answer proficient by explaining how you will talk to people at fault before you tell on them (if needed). Also, show how obedient you will be to the company’s policies.

Do not agree on any compromising questions by saying that you will not let somebody know if you saw something wrong happening.

The final question asked to you may simply be for you to ask them any questions you may have about the job. Make sure you have questions that make you look eager to work for the company.

Make inquiries to the interviewer on when you should expect to know if you are hired or how they got promoted to their position. As you can see, how you answer these five common questions will determine the impression you leave with the prospective employer.

Many companies that started out stronger have gone down due to negative customer criticism, which affected their business because nobody will trust a company that their previous customers don’t speak of them.
Most people usually ask for past reviews from previous customers that patronized the company without the company knowledge and any bad review that new client see about the company will totally discourage him/her from buying products or services from your company.
Every company should have a good customer support representative that is well experienced and can resolve complaints without attaching emotion.

Anambra on Coronavirus Stimulus Package: State Government To Gift Bags Of Rice To The Elderly.

Beginning from Wednesday‬, 1st April, 2020 Anambra State Government will commence the distribution of bags of rice to men and women in the state who are 60 years of age and above.

Governor Willie Obiano announced the plan as one of the stimulus packages of the state action committee on COVID 19. He said; “This is one of the many interventions the state government will be making to help cushion the economic and other effects of the coronavirus on Ndi Anambra”.

“We will share 200 bags of rice each to the 179 communities we have in the state. That’s about 35,800 bags in total. My government will announce further stimulus package in due course”.

“We call on the traditional rulers, the Presidents General, and ASATU women leaders to quickly send their list of beneficiaries which will be jointly signed by them to the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs immediately. Communities that send their list first will receive theirs immediately”, Governor Obiano said.
