Mcowubaba: So Jose Mourinho has a greater Name and Posterity than the GREAT LEGENDARY MANCHESTER UNITED Mourinho is no doubt a very great coach, but a very controversial and silly man.... He talks to much nd misbehaves ...... The trick is this. You and I and Manchester United knows he isn't a long term solution all we need is to get things running first, get the players in place and install that winning mentality afterwards we will get a long term manager. |

Mcowubaba: The only signing I don't like this season as a United faithful, is the signing of that Mourinho, he will bring all those his stupid controversy and division into United Look without the name Mourinho how would United have attracted such names without CL football? |

dammytosh: So says man whose only target is pipeline contracts.
Bring the polls again.
I will vote for anybody but Jonathan. Infact Buhari will get my vote.
The only argument worthy of mention is comparing Buhari with candidates like Chris Okotie or KOWA Presidential Candidates. Jonathan was a NO NO and still remain NO NO
All these political jobbers and thieves hiding under masses suffering to cover up for their crimes.
Take note of them when they start screaming, EFCC has started investigating them and they need the poor masses behind them to say it was because he fought for us.
When the pipeline contract was flowing in for OPC with billions, the Govt was Okay. With corruption you can feed, get a good power supply and a more stable economy with companies coming in. Now we are fighting corruption no electricity, no food and prices of basic stuffs are climbing higher, companies are leaving..... You actually believe Buhari and his dogs are recovering trillions from loots yet we go borrowing at the slightest opportunity. They promised to publish the names of Political office holders who stashed loots off shore tull date no show....... How many of them have been successfully convicted and sent to jail? |

obailala: Being unable to make a reasonable argument without resorting to insulting words like zombie speaks volumes of your mental and intellectual capacity. I asked a very reasonable question. Who's job is it to protect the pipelines? If the pipelines are protected like you said don't you think they will be better supply of electricity? |
Politics › Re: Is Steady Electricity Possible In Nigeria? by Phonefanatic: 9:43am On Jul 02, 2016 |
obailala: A 1000mw gas power plant would cost roughly $1billion; the president's travels would not cost beyond $1 or at most $2million per trip. That's like 0.1% of the cost of a 1gw plant; so please try and make a better argument. That's roughly N600million per trip if I go by your assumption and he has taken more than 10 trips in his first year in office then calculate for 4 years ....... My calculator is showing me error when I tried to calculate. |
Politics › Re: Is Steady Electricity Possible In Nigeria? by Phonefanatic: 9:38am On Jul 02, 2016 |
obailala: Nigerians similarly enjoyed power for months under this admin ladt year, my people didn't have to use their gen for 2 straight months between july and septwmber last year and that is a yearly ritual for as long as I can remember because of high water levels in thise months.
The high water levels normally supplement the thermal power stations during the peak of the rains. The only reason we may not enjoy the effect of high water levels this year is because politicians and their boys have taken it personally upon themselves to blow up every goddamn pipe taking gas to thermal power stations; I doubt only the hydro dams can handle the power demand this time. Who's job is it to protect those pipelines? You've even given a reason why we won't have light in the future . Your level of zombiesm exceeds my expectations..... I salute you. Lie Mohammed must be your mentor |
Politics › Re: Is Steady Electricity Possible In Nigeria? by Phonefanatic: 8:27am On Jul 02, 2016 |
GEJ could have achieved that or something close....... Not with this present govt. In the past administration I remember having light at least 5 days a week but then people said it was due to high water level Now I wonder if the dried up river in Ogun is what powers our plants |

Jerrypolo: I wanted to travel from Abuja to Delta on Saturday, so I decided to board a commercial vehicle (name withheld). Soon, the bus got filled up and we started the journey. I was so enjoying the journey because the driver was on a very high speed and there was a lot of breeze coming into the vehicle. Fast forward to Lokoja just before river Niger and river Benue, we saw from a far distance that there was hold up(because of environmental sanitation) and our driver tried to stop the vehicle but the brake refused to respond(our vehicle was on a very high speed), there was a petrol tanker just in front of us(I was already saying my last prayer, since the vehicle, refused to stop), everyone in the vehicle started screaming the name of Jesus (beside the four hausa guys at the back of the vehicle) and all of a sudden the vehicle diverted from our Lane into the other Lane and stopped miraculously without brake. Now, if the vehicle had not diverted we would have crashed into the tanker and only God knows, maybe I would have been dead, leaving my family in grief and sorrow, but God saved me. I shared this in crime section because, the careless driver knew the brake was not in good working condition but he decided to use the vehicle because his manager told him that if he doesn't use it, he should just consider himself fired... Is this not the worst crime on Earth??... Well I thank God I didn't die nor did anyone in the vehicle die.. Post the company's name and save people. The management's attention needs to be drawn so they can sit up. |

Vandals don't need anyone's hailing to vandalize so whether they get a pat on the back or not they will do their thing. Vandalism has been going on since 90's it is left for the government to protect its properties and if they can't then they have failed. This may be Fashola's Monika...... Tunde is that you? |
