y not let tinubu lose d election before all these madness

At least it’s better than that of u igbos that served pdp for good 22 years n still got nothing in return

U igbos don suffer, just imagine how people will mock u after election loss by u n your obi

That’s another 16 years of active wailing
Who cares if Tilumbu win or lose?
Isnt it a shame that elections in Nigeria is all about winning but no one cares about the performances of the so called winner. The northerners has been ruling for how long but they still have the highest beggars and almajiris. You talk about mocking me as if I'm in a competition with anyone. For your information, I only want a better Nigeria, a Nigeria i can be proud of and i dont think that should be tied to someone winning an election with delivering the dividend thereafter.

You lots see election as a competition where all that matters is winning but i see it as an Avenue for the winner to build a good name for himself and his coming generations. Today we still talk about the likes of Jakande, the likes of Yaradua and co and I dont think anyone cares about their tribe but the good legacies they were able to achieve. If Tilumbu wins and Nigeria becomes an Eldorado then why wont I be happy about it? If Obi wins and Nigeria becomes like a hell do you think I'll keeping supporting him just because he is igbo?
I voted for Buhari in the 2015 election so will you have me keep on supporting his failures just because of my support for him prior to the election.

Anybody that wins should know that Nigeria as a country has been placed on his shoulder and I dont think building a lasting legacy should be a difficult feet to achieve.

Election shouldn't be a winner takes it all affair but unfortunately that is what you people know how best to practice.

I strongly urge everyone in the cities to exercise caustion. Do not be involved in any protest, it may claim your own head.

Simply avoid the use of cash, and by that, you need only little to survive. Do ALL permissible transaction electronically. It may involve only shopping for food items from big store and malls, which is far better than buying naira exorbitantly. You may suspend some luxuries and some diets for now if they cannot be aquired using electronic payment. You may have to go a long distance to transact, this is just a phase.

This is a situation we are in and pressure will increase untill elections. If Buhari bows to pressure, the politicians have won. But if he can hold on till after the elections, I tell, the agitation will die naturally.

This is one of the 'credible elections' Buhari promised. He is doing everything to get this right. if He does, he will retire fulfilled feeling that at least this may the only gift he gave to Nigerians. but if he fails, he may forever be feeling like a failure.

Just be wise and enter survival mode. This is nothing for those who have experienced kidnapping and armed robbery in Nigeria.

This too shall pass.
No they want to be carrying cash upandan. People who clamor for development but would rather remain in their old skin. Even snakes would shed it skin for a new growth but Nigerians will not.

People claiming unavailability of money dont really have shishi. Sane people have been transacting electronically using cards and transfers but Nigerians want ”cash”.

I have never been a fan of Buhari but I will give him a kudos on this particular policy. Who wan die make him die, developments and growth doesn't always come on a platter of gold.

It's such a shame that people in rural communities who don't have access to banks and internet are complaining about Naira scarcity and people who live in Lagos are even protesting.

Well, I maintain that our biggest challenge is our obsession with cash and it's contributing to these protests. I just hope they don't turn around and blame it on the Igbos after destroying things in Lagos (as always). grin
That has always been their strategy, they will soon starting claiming that it's one Obinna from Anambra that caused the protest with the aim to burn down tilumbu”s Eko Atlantic city.

you keep proving you lack exposure. either you are a kid or just a plain ignorant adult that has not done any serious business in his life. keep asking me stupid question there. It is people like you that thing every one that is rich got their wealth illegally. 50million a day does not mean the 50 million is their profit, it is simply revenue generated in a day.
Revenue generated and they must all be in cash?
People like you would rather remain in your old skin instead of you to align with the new trend. I am sure you are one of those not supporting the government cashless policy just because you like the crispy feeling of money in your palms. What are the stupid revenues that cant go through electronics but cash or you think 50million is just 50thousand?
I put it to you again that no man should ever have access to up to 50million cash in a day no matter what stupid revenue you might think they are generating.

you obviously lack exposure. Go to alaba international, some businesses in mushin, idumota and kano. Cash like this is normal daily money for many businesses in cash.
50million brought by a man and you are saying I should go to alaba, what business will you do that will fetch you 50million in cash just within a day?
This are the people encouraging kidnappers because kidnappers are always certain of getting their money in cash.

I was suspecting it will be in the north and I was right, the man was bringing 50 million to deposit, they asked him what has he been doing since?

If this man who is not a politician can still have such amount with him, you can imagine what evil politicians will still be having with them. You now see why they are crying up and down, vote buying gone wrong.
That man is only fronting for a politician, no sane individual will ever have such amount in his\possession.
Nigeria is cursed with very wicked and corrupt political class.

Eko Atlantic city was not built during Tilumbu tenure, Oshodi interchange was not built during Tilumbu tenure, So many other infrastructures in Lagos today were not built during Tilumbu tenure but some low life thinking would always expect Obi to had made Anambra a mega city during his own tenure.

Governance is continuum and it is expected that every administration should do their bit and the subsequent ones will also do their own bits. Even if Soludo should decide to paint the whole Anambra today I'm sure the next governor will still have some things to work on.

Peter should delve into entertainment. He is becoming a comedian!

Anybody can write or say those gibberish! The vacuum communicating is what matters most!

Politics › Naira Redesign; A Step Towards A Right Direction Or A Tool For Witch Hunting? by phorget(op): 3:27pm On Feb 15, 2023
“When I grow up I will buy that type of car, when I grow up I will build that type of house”... While growing up those are usually the statements we make while admiring those ”beautiful cars and beautiful houses” around us but we finally grew up not liking those things we admired at our younger stages.
Development do come with a price, the price might hurt due to the pains but at the end the gains are worthwhile.

New innovations are the bedrock for developments and in the case whereby Nigerian would rather remain stagnant in their old ways and yet continue to pray for growth is what I really cant comprehend.
Yes there's no cash in circulation but in reality have we really failed to transact? Do we really need physical cash in other to transact?

I have tried to sum up the pros and cons of a cashless society and it surprises me the advantages are greater than the disadvantages(even though I couldn't come up with any disadvantages).
Cash is required for ransom payment, armed robbers request for cash, police request for cash etc but how about a society whereby your daily atm or bank withdrawal cant exceed 20k per day then how would you source for 10million naira as ransom payment( except through transfer which will blow up the kidnappers cover due to a traceable account)...This automatically put kidnappers and other social vices out of business cos police wont even be able to extort anyone unless if such a police will drop an account to receive such extortion and such account would still serve as evidence for prosecution.

What we all need right now is for banks and every other service providers to improve their technologies for a better sender and recipient transactions. If anyone truly has money in his or her account then transfers shouldn't be a difficult thing.
We should stop the ideas of tagging beautiful policies as a witch hunt of some individuals. Snakes cant grow without shedding it skin and if we must grow then new innovations must be embraced...
