Nigeria isn’t a country where you can show off, in the midst of some hungry and angry people with bad energy, where some people can even kill for just 50k Naira.

Just the other day a fufu seller was kidnapped I guess she too was in the habit of showing off.
The truth is that kidnappings has gone beyond profiling before kidnapping, it has become so bad to the extent that anybody can be kidnapped. But in the case of Bugon I won't rule out an insiders involvement.

Nobody would have #400k target in such a clime. If the job is available then why should I be lazy in making more money knowing fully well where I came from. The problem with most people that doesn't get to succeed is the fact that they often want to maintain a certain standard of living. I would rather live in a cubicle, work my assertion off and make money in the United States then come back to Nigeria together live large.

Dude unless you are going to live as a refugee in US, 400k ain't shit. You can't even get a decent apartment with that amount. In san Francisco, a single bed room with a bath room starts from $3200 per month! Not to talk of tax, electricity bill, food, etc. .

A 100K monthly salary earner in Nigeria is better than a 400K monthly salary earner in the United States.

The luxury lifestyles some of us live here with 100K, cannot sustain us a day over there. We can’t try such in US and save a dim.

Some of our annual rent here is weekly/ monthly rent over there. Can you pay over 100K naira monthly house rent with 400K monthly salary here in Nigeria? You can’t do that, but you don’t have a choice over there. You pay or kicked out of the house.

Some of our people over there are becoming wiser now. They don’t mind sleeping on the streets, work for at least 5-10yrs, move back to Nigeria with their savings. You cannot survive with 100M living comfortably a year over there. Tax go finish you up. But you can live large with 100M for 5yrs or more here in Nigeria depends on your lifestyles tho.

You don’t pay unnecessary tax here. But in foreign countries you pay almost everything.
In naija you can own 10 cars..not in the United States because you pay for packing space for each car. You get the point now?

Some of our people in diaspora, once they earn $10K in a month or so, depends on the job, they’d send $9K down to their Nigeria account and keep $1K for their upkeep. Some would buy lands and build houses for rent or some other businesses.
If you don’t do that, you’d work all your life and come back with nothing. Those of you on this method are wise. But becareful of the people you send your money to here. Trust no one! Get a trustworthy lawyer involved.

U can make unnecessary noise or play loud music here. You can’t try such over there and not find yourself in police cell.

So you see….We are privileged here. We only need to get bad political leaders off the way. By getting involved in politics, national, state, LGA and community affairs. That’s how American youth you admire, do.

They don’t just fold hands, wailing and waiting for a miracle. They debate, disagree, challenge, involved and create. You get the point now?

Then why are you still there?
Come back to Nigeria and start earning 100k and let's see how you'll survive.
People will just be discouraging us not to bother escaping this Godforsaken Nigeria yet they themselves will never want to come back so we can face the battle here together.

The fact is that your appearance will always give an insight to who you are although appearance could a times be deceptive but I am sure you will revere a well dressed individual more than you'll do a shabby dressed fellow.
Your appearance is like a door to your personality, a door to what people might likely passive of you. I am not against any form of dressing as the case may be but I am surely of the school of thought who believe that people should dress accordingly.
You can't wear a suit to the club neither should you wear a tattered clothing to the church. So just dress accordingly.

I have a dude like that who always depend on ladies for survival. Whenever he makes some money he will buy fresh clothing so as to always look good for the next lady in line. This my dude will never want to do anything to better himself, he will always mention millions as if million is easy to come by.

My wife gave birth in November but we lost the baby 2 days after. What shocked me was when my younger brother sent me a voice message of what they had discussed about my wife and my mum was not remorseful, she said she is not happy that the baby has died she wish it was my wife that died in the process and the innocent baby lives , he recorded her without her knowledge because he didn't like what she was saying.

I immediately called her and play the voice, I taught she will be sorry for what she said, she didn't give a damn. She said she is not an hypocrite, she never like my wife and she can't pretend. I cut the phone with a broken heart even taught she never like my wife she could have at least show forget about the hatred and show her some love in this difficult situation.
My step mother has been taken care of my wife I am grateful , my mum has never bothered to call to know about her health and I haven't call her either. I disowned her. I don't hate her but I don't want nothing to do with her anymore because she is a disgrace to womanhood.

One thing I will never do is disowning my mother. Have you bothered figuring why your mum so much despise your wife? I think that should have been your ultimate assignment and not disowning someone who had gone through sleepless night watching you grow.
