Godmademan:That depends on your definition of 'drawback' as used in this context. However, you should know that non-removable battery is a design employed by most manufacturers today. So, either you like it or not, you'd someday end up with one. To be candid, there is no draw back. Things perceiived as drawbacks or disadvantages by many are indeed not drawbacks. |
xoftcore:Nothing is happening after flashing or you just assumed that? Well, you might want to give to an engineer to check onboard ICs. I'm afraid that if the check turns out positive (damaged onboard components), you might be dealing with a motherboard issue. I suggest you flash it first if you have not... |
xavier2019:Sorry, the things you can do now is try and root it. Then, install kinguser inorder to remove unnecessary apps. DO NOT UNINSTALL 'CORE' APPS or 'SYSTEM' APPS. Kinguser will tell you which and which app is safe to uninstall. Next get link2sd or app2sd or any other relative app to move apps completely from internal storage to sdcard. Once these are done, the lagging problem should be almost gone if not completely gone. Plus you'd have more storage for installation of other apps. Do not forget you're dealing with a phone of 1GB ram and 8GB rom. Thats all it has got. |
xavier2019:Ah ha! From the info displayed in cpuz, it seems to me that's a qualcomm device. i can only help you only if it's a mediatek device runing atleast 4.2 and atmost 6.0. With those, i can build you a nice rom (bugless or almost bugless at that) |
xavier2019:First, we need to know what SoC we are dealing with here and what model.. (E.g it could be spreadtrum or mediatek and the model number is needed) Secondly, we need to figure out the actual android os version it is running. (Take whatever you see in the 'About' section of your settings with a PINCH OF SALT. Those can be falsified by just a build.prop edit in the system folder) I can help you out where necessary but we must know point 1 and 2 as above. |
thesicilian:A BIT INSULT INDEED! |
xavier2019:I guess you know the reason already. Well, le'me whisper: (what you have is a cloned tecno phone). Techmically, there is nothing you can do solve the problem but you can try the folllowing; *Try as much as possible to free space from the internal storage so as to avoid lags. If possible, install fewer apps. *If you're not scared of rooting, you should root the phone, install app like Link2sd to move apps completely to sdcard. Use kingroot to uninstall bloatwares like default apps that are useless (becareful though) *Finally, if i were you, I'd try a custom rom on it as this is the only way to make the phone display the exact storage. PS: if you are in doubt as to whether it isa clone or not, get cpu-z and install it. In cpu z, check the processor (chipset) and compare with the spec of that tecno phone online. You can screenshot the result of Cpuz here. I will help you verify |
clazzyice:I think GCam works only on Google pixel and Nexus phones. It also works on some qualcomm snapdragon devices. However, you can try it out. A trial won't hurt your phone. Who knows, it might just work. |
sben2308:He said charging board not the main board. The sub board is just a small board on which charging port is soldered, speaker and mouthpiece as well as antenna are also connected to this board. A flex is then used to connect this board to the main board. 15k isn't bad but negotiable... (my opinion) |
TouchOfSpice:Eeyah! That's quite unfortunate considering the effort, precious time and cash spent... You're right. You might have flashed an incompatible rom |
abdulatif8:Thanks alot sir for offering to help. i sincerely appreciate it.I'm good at flashing phones. I can fix any sort of software problems involving mobile phones (network unlocking not inclusive). I've never had any problem with flashing stock roms and customs. But i wouldn't want to be stagnant in knowledge progression that's why i asked him to tell us what he did wrong before the phone got bricked during flashing so that i can learn perhaps something new..and possibly help others to avoid the same mistake. |
TouchOfSpice:You might want to share with us what you think you did wrong that bricked it during the flashing attempt. I think if you have the right stock rom for your phone build, there shouldn't be any bricking incidence. |
zanga420:Go to playstore and download 'Super Backup'. With this, you can back up contact, sms, and logs on to your sdcard as well as sync it with your gmail |
Isiboy:Oh okay... |
modestbrowser:Can't stop laughing! You make sense jawe |
Jaymaestro:Rooting is like a weapon. The weapon isn't a threat to safety but what you do with it and how you manage it is. So, as long as you know what you are doing and have done firmware backup (rom dump), it is safe to root hot 6 pro |
xoftcore:Flash it. |
Isiboy:Please explain why he might have to keep flashing every month? |
phonedaddy:that one shock me o |
xoftcore:You need to be sure that you've not gotten a cloned Infinix phone (i.e an imitation or copy). If the phone is still new, advice you to return it to the point of purchase. Otherwise, you'd have to fix the problem yourself by doing a factory reset. if that doesn't work perhaps its high time you looked into flashing. For those sensors to stop all at once, i suspect software glitches. It's impossible for an hardware failure to cause all sensors to malfunction... Update us here and let us know how it goes |
BOFREJO:Flash the phone first |
funniest topic of the day |
Over the years, i've learnt that certain things you least expect to be the solution to a prob could actually end up being the best solution possible for that prob. When it comes to charging your android phone (infinix, tecno, itel in particular), trivial things like usb cable can cause you a real headache while you continue to think that your phone is faulty. Initially, i'd argue that the usb is just a collection of conductive connecting wires and that as long as the required voltage reaches the target phone there is no reason for it to not charge. Behold, i was wrong! The quality of usb cable used infact affects the charging efficiency of your phone and effectiveness of your charger. This is because the quality of copper strand used in these wires determine the amount of current that it can conduct from charger to phone. This means that a poor usb cable on an excelent charger (say original infinix fast chargers) will result in a performance similar to a combo of bad charger + usb cable Now don't get me wrong... I'm not saying that your cable is always responsible when your phone is charging slow. Sometimes your phone might actually need a repair. All i'm saying is; before you become a regular customer to charger adapters' sellers, you should consider changing your usb cable to fix your slow charging problem. P.S: Beware, there are fake chargers out there claiming the specifications of a typical infinix fast chargers. These can charge can be so fast that they take just about a century for a full charge. (lolz) |
So, are they for sale? ...because this section reads technology market |
Afz9095:What is your location? |
evido78:I think you might have a bad 32gb sdcard. But to be sure it is really bad, i'd recommend that you format as 'portable storage' and not as 'internal storage' in your phone. As for the 64gb option, that depends on the phone you're using. Check to see whether your phone supports 64gb. If it does then you good to go with a 64gb sdcard. To confirm, search in google the specification of your phone. {Just enter .... Phone manufacturer, model plus spec .... in google search} |
playboy99:I'm sorry about that. Replied |
