Thank you for your responses @lexusgs430 and @shayvebaby
My thought is that for the stability the five years fixed rate gives, it is worth exploring. Especially for someone who doesn't have ILR yet. Upon getting ILR, one would have access to more lenders unlike being limited to a few when one has to renew in two years again . Additionally, it helps for financial planning. |

Meogom: Hello guys. Trying to choose wilhich rate to go with The options from Barclays are 1) 4.84% for 2ys fixed without product fee 2) 4.67% for 2yrs fixed with product fee of £900 3) 4.67% for 5yrs fixed with product fee of £900.
My mortgage advisor suggests we should go with the first option, as she's positive we can get better rates in 2years.
Whats your advice here please. Will appreciate your insights. I just wonder why no one advised on the 5years fixed. Is there any reason why |

Hello 👋 Happy new year 🎉 Two questions please 🙏
Can one use part of the money saved in Lifetime ISA for payment to solicitors. For example if one has £20K saved and the deposit is only 17k. Can some of the balance be used to pay other expenses in the process of procuring a house?.
Second question(s) What are major questions that can be asked when completing a viewing ? After viewing and being interested in the property, what is the next step to take ?
TIA |

CheesyTee: You can’t get tuition fee below £6,000 for international students. Especially for MSc. Social Work.
Social work is a 2yrs course. Hence, two years tuition will be required.
You can check University of Hull, their September 2021 fee for int’l applicants is same as UK/EU. Between £7,000-£9,000.
University of Teesside allow you pay £13,000 for a two-years course with discount of £1,000 or thereabout. Social Work tuition is charged differently in Hull, so the reduced fee doesn't work. Teeside is 13,000 per year. Only Liverpool Hope pays. about 6k and its admission is closed. |

Hello, The first advice i will give you is to be open minded.
I served in a radio station and didn't study Mass com but i have always been a huge fan of radio. it was a great training ground for me .
You can join OBS (Orientation Broadcasting Service) in camp to start with. you can possibly meet like minds there.
Furthermore, even if you don't get a radio station to serve, volunteer to work at anyone within where you serve.
