Op what of learning Ms excel as a skill and giving certified. Does it matters?

Yes, you can do that and even get a job with it for a start, remote or office but don’t stop there; your best shot at moving up the career ladder is to eventually go for data analyst…awesome career path.

You can actually get whatever you want out of nairaland.

As a jobless graduate, I got a job with the help of nairaland in the job section, after working for some time I made my first seven-figure.

I often browse through the travel session because I desired to travel abroad, I evetually got vital information that helped me secure a student visa for my master's degree.

I still come here to read news and get informed about happening at home and I also search for other vital information too.

A sincere thank you to Seun, the nairaland team and the lovely people who share opportunities and information here. God bless you, peace out.

Please, I'm still searching for accommodation in Berlin. I'll appreciate anyone who can help.

Secondly, the city where my school is located appears on my visa, hope there won't be any issue with the immigration cos I don't intend to go to that city/school, I'm actually going to another city/school.

Hello all,
Just a brief advice for all who have submitted their passport for visa. Do not the book your flight tickets till you get your passport back. The consulate is swamped and it might take more than the 7 days stated on the AM email for you to get your passport back after submission. I was lucky to get mine a day before I travelled after waiting for 10 days. Saw some guys who submitted same time or even a day earlier than mine and they hadn't got their passport sent back to them yet.

You can use your German student insurance if you have one already to collect your visa. I submitted my Mawista insurance for this. I didn't buy any additional travel insurance.

Good morning Ndydy. Congratulations, may Deutschland favour you. I did Mawista insurance too and I received about four sets of documents (Emergency card, Terms and condition, Tarrif) did you submit all or only the one that carries your information?

Accorging to the guy, it was a simple maths and physics for the science students that wrote. He is going for Bsc. actually. He said they gave economics test for another guy who is not a science student.

Only the VO on dreadlocks gave test though.

Went for my interview today. Paulinus wasn'ton seat and the other man was so cool.
Got to the embassy around past 5, I was number 5 on the queue. We were ushered in around past 7. A Lady VO interviewed me, though her questions were much but I was well prepared and I answered al well by the Grace of God.
My Transcript:
BSc or MSc?
Which course?
Which school?
Why this course?
Why Germany?
Why not Nigeria?
Did you consider other country?
When did you graduate?
Your CGPA?
What have you been doing after graduation?
How much is your salary?
What do you know about Germany?
Have you been to German?
Have you been denied visa before?
Project Topic?
What is the project about?
What was your findings?
How did you collect your data?
What will you do after you finish your program?

Some people wrote test today, the VO with dreadlocks gave them test.

Success to everyone awaiting admission, interview and AM.

Cheers!!!

There is a hotel beside freedom park very close to the police barracks an upstair, it costs just 3000 per night and you can take a bike from that area direct to embassy gate, why not consider this?

Please if you have contact of the hotel kindly share. Thanks.

1) M.A governance and human Rights!!!
2) regarding the guarantor, I saw this on the embassy website!! Please read!! And I read it online that parents can serve as a guarantor if they are financially buoyant! 3) since they request for the health insurance as one of the documents to be submitted for my enrollment and must be done within two weeks time, what should I do ?

As for parents residing in Nigeria being guarantor, I really don't how it works and I don't know anyone who has use that means. Most sponsorship I've seen is German resident sponsor, another option is to open a blocked account fund it.

I think the health insurance thing is done upon arrival but since they are asking you to submit it with 2 weeks, ask the course coordinator if someone can do it on your behalf since you are not yet in Germany.

BTW why did you choose a fee based course while there are other free courses in the same University.

Oluwanifemi34:
1) Please is there anyone in or going to leuphana university of Luneburg this winter semester?
2) Regarding my proof of financial eligibility, my immediate brother a citizen of U.S wants to be my guarantor, how WL I go about that ?
3) among the documents asked to submit for enrollment is proof of membership in the statutory health insurance scheme or private health insurance ( how will I get this? Because it's stated that incase I am using private, I should provide a certificate for an exemption from membership in the statutory health insurance)

1) That's one of the schools I applied to but I'm yet to hear from them. What's your course?
2) Anyone who will be your sponsor must be a working German resident with a good pay. (Not sure of the minimum amount though)
3) As for the insurance, you need to be in Germany to get it done. You are allowed to use a private insurance.

I have IELTS even GRE as well. I dont usually tender the ielts because they accept letter of proficiency been Nigeria is a native speaker and my undergraduate was fully taught in english. I had a 6.0 so i dont like submitting it if they dont ask even though i submitted to TUM this summer but i was rejected.

You're wrong concerning the bolded. Nigeria is not a native speaker, only England, US, Ireland, Australia etc are regarded as native speakers. An exception for Nigeria is usually based on the fact that English is our official language and it is used as a medium of instruction during for your previous studies. I guess you should have included your ielts result in some of those applications.
