I can't say I'm a fan as well, I listen to a whole lot of rappers - but there's something about the way Jay delivers his verses and punch-lines...the metaphors and literary figures of speech he employs makes rap look intelligent, and not just all noise/bragging.

Very few of them younger artistes got their rap game on lockdown, the last album I bought with my money is JayZ's Blueprint 3 and that was because I had the previous Blueprints and wanted to complete my collection - these days I just download specific tracks that catch my attention, no particularly favourite rapper.
