"Majority owner Stan Kroenke and the board will face shareholder questions at Thursday's annual general meeting.
The Arsenal Supporters Trust (AST) wants assurances there will be no increases in ticket prices next season" ---- BBCSports.

Smh........
Arsenal need to slow down on the escalating ticket prices..... It absolutely riles me that the club sits on a huge pile of unused cash with no imminent or planned investment in the playing squad.
The ever increasing cost is disgraceful and it needs to be looked into.
This is the third season running i have not renewed my season ticket and i have boycotted games, apart from the FA Cup Final last season.
I hope they get it tough and hard at the AGM later today...... And i hope many more fans take action if there are no assurances to drop prices next season.
The fans voices has to be heard.....
Our most expensive season ticket is double the price of those Scum's up in Manchester... is it because we are based in London or what?
How can Man City have the cheapest season ticket at £299 and we have ours at £1013 or so?
Madness!
smart decision

even fanshare is closing

Stan took 3m pounds out of arsenal for advisory services - an amount equal to the increase of 3% last season

huh huh

Bro.. i had to laugh at this ...
grin grin grin grin grin

SeaGold:
A year from now...

Husband: "If I had known you'll be this worse I wouldn't have married you. I thought you'd change with me showing love.

Wife: "Did I beg you to marry me?"

...then High blood pressure will gradually build up on the man and he will open a thread on nairaland to lament his situation while "unmarried" nairalanders will caution him on not doing things right with her. Love her more, communication is the key, smile at her, push her love buttons, you are not a man, why you so hate your wife blah blah blah blah

Guy...I might not subscribe to a woman doing my personal laundry but I won't tolerate a woman who have the effrontery to tell me that. I am the sort of person that can call off a wedding inside the church service to ward off any inhibition of HAD-I-KNOW

How many times do i have to say it? I called him a misogynist because he said, 'a woman is an extension of her husband'.
Hmm.....so because he did not agree with u...

Do you know what misogynist means

noun
1.
a person who hates, dislikes, mistrusts, or mistreats women.

True but the trend is the same

I can't pinpoint the thread now but it's a very popular theme here

There is difference between kids raised singly of doubly.

Earlier u called someone a misogynist because u did not agree with his POV

What exactly is the problem here even? Is it that the women here want to keep only their father's name OR they want to hyphenate both their father's name and that of the husband? undecided

Because I'm thinking if it's the latter, does that not also mean they have to go through the legal process of official name-change to reflect the new hyphenated surname?
And if this is the case, the excuse that it is too complicated undergoing a process of name change to that of the husband is still redundant, because it's the same complicated process they have to go through when adopting the hyphenated surname to affect all documents.

This whole ruckus is not even realistic, just some anonymous internet hullabaloo.
LOL..women never knowing what they want since the time of Eve

Interesting. coming from a lady

Most ladies here tell us that a child raised by a single mother is not different and possibly interchangeable from that raised by a man and woman
I was fearful of the marriage instition when they pasted tomes and tomes supporting this

But this.. there is hope ...

Do you bear your father's name or surname? Do you want your wife and kids to bear it? If yes, does this imply that you are an extension of your dad?
Let me define extension for u

1. stretching, expansion, enlargement, increase, dilation. 3. lengthening, protraction, continuation. 4. delay. 6. limit.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/extension
I bear his surname
They will bear it proudly
I am an extension of his.. yes
Because I am doing things he was not able to do.. i am continuing what he stopped

No its not... as i said earlier

You are hustling to keep one man;s name which to me in the principle of anti-patriarchy is warped

Women should bear new names independent of the father and the husband grin grin
That way, no man can say u are an extension of himself
