Well.... the atheists are clear.... their path is clear... no need for further discussion which yield nothing Its the OP's seeming interest in trying to bridge the divide so to speak that is making me curious Wish u d best in trying to understand what its all about sounds new age to me... Interestingly it is the atheists who have been more vocal in rejecting the so called melding of theism and atheism Kay17 made some good points Interestingly it all goes back to what she tries to deny in the OP Projecting... projecting a father figure image to a God at variance to what is written in the Book But what do i know? Tallesty1: Owk...
If were close to the @OP outside here, I mean real life close friends, I will devout time to showing her something.
I will like to flash light on the two paths that are b4 her.
There are some truths she needs to know and some secrets she needs to understand.
It is her great learning that is giving her the confusion.
But I still trust her judgements.
You see, Most of this atheists have same story to tell. "I used to be a Christian but I was able to see the error in religion, I’m very intelligent, thus I know that belief in God and religion is irrational, superstitious, and unscientific. I am so glad that I was able to see the light and extricate myself from the idiocy that is religion. If only everyone could be so enlightened, the world would be a better place.”
Not knowing that "knowledge" is the real problem we have today.
So it almost impossible to convince them to accept your point because they already have knowledge of your religion and its teachings.
I don't always reply them because they think they have it all figured.
I sabi too much dey vex me pass anything. |

No i did not intend to discuss with muskeeto I had seen this thread from the day it was opened but was coming in and going out I actually got piqued when i saw the OP say it was for christians( ) considering she does not identify herself as one But thanks for the heads up She has said she will not respond to any of my questions any further... so no issue Tallesty1: Bros Wait oo......
Why are you chasing after wind?
It's clear that you guys share different beliefs so how do you think they'd listen to you?
Remember this guys(Atheists) do not believe there is "God" and you do, so you people are different and cannot reason together.
I read a comment on here where an atheist said that "there is no God because if He existed, He would end suffering and never allow evil." and I wondered how he was able to know what's good and what's evil.
Oh yes! Because God alone can exhaust the definition of "absolutely good." If God does not exist, then there are no moral absolutes by which one has the right to judge something as being evil.
Y'see, I have tried to comment on this thread since its inception but it seems like one invincible force is pushing me away.
I have seen some comments that I would on normal post love to reply but I ignore them here. For a reason that I don't know.
I can tell you that heaven is running short of grace right now, just look at the way it's being shared Here.
Atheist don't like religionists, they believe every religionists is crazy and brainwashed. Religionists do not like atheists, they believe that atheists are confused and lost.
Thesame thing atheists hate about religionists, they do same to them.
Life is funny, I tell ya.
Stop pursuing this debate.
Owk...The op wants to imitate Jesus but she hates the God of old testament. I ain't saying nothing bro... Let's continue sharing the grace. Her own is a different case.
Pursuing this debate is just like trying to convince a homosexual that s/he wasn't born that way. It is useful as a hedgehog in a condom factory.
Do your thing and let them do their thing.
Until I'm able to be in all places at the same time - with a perfect knowledge of all that is in the universe, I would never say there is no God............
Because I will have to be omniscient and omnipresent to be able to say from my own pool of knowledge that there is no God.
Those who do not understand maths.
Say that maths is hard. |

freshdude2: Actually, they don't. If they did, they'd recognise the traits and mannerisms strong men possess. What they have are effeminate beta men who have been well-trained along feminism lines. They control their relationships because their men think like them and can easily whip him back into line(for example by calling him a misogynist, uncivilised, stone ager, etc) . They are equal to their husbands and boyfriends yet dominate him.
You might be right but I'd wager on him being a nice guy and you know what happens to nice guys.
Not really his wahala alone. His family are part of society, so his son could grow up being a pansy or his daughter could grow up being a nag. Both are dangerous to the human civilisation. On our resident strong women...i wish them the best Hahahaha.....you are right..i guess he will learn when the same woman leaves the marriage and the child that she is not being stimulated enough. |

freshdude2: The truth is they really want a strong man. That's why there's such a word as hypergamy. But don't even know what they want. The world today is filled with men who provide but don't have respect because, truly, they are not strong, they can only provide.
Look at the other thread about the two year old marriage and how the guy is whingeing, I mean, wtf. But they have strong men.... Everyone else just happens to be weak so they decry the existence of weak men 'everywhere else ' The guy whining....? Well he has not responded yet but my hunch is that the woman is the major earner and she wants her family settled though they are married. He handles the bills though. She has given him a child.he should bugger off...she has her life to live That's his wahala as the women say My own na to do bride and spend all d money Lol... |

No one in this effing section understands what Grace or Love is. Just bunch of deluded scientology-esque minority cabal of rabids and fanatical semi-illiterates who attack, ridicule and denigrate anyone who has the chutzpah to question their weak chain of thoughts.
Heraclitus concept is philosophical and also scientific. It simply defines a situation which the existence or identity of a thing (or even situation) depends on the co-existence of at least two conditions which are opposite to each other, yet dependent on each other.
He doesn't have to bridge Atheism and Theism, common sense should be explaining few things to you at this stage.
Even when we all present contradicting views about God, Life, Humanity etc, we still share something(s) in common, don't we?
Something has got to link us up, something has to over-look our differences and bind us together. It's that one thing MizmyColi has tagged 'Grace'.
So what are you really on about? Lol or lolest as mzcoli will say What's all the Scientology u talking about? I asked u since u turned yourself to the shield on wat the link between coli n Heraclitus Suddenly its that no one has common sense..lol Aside u...?
