TonyeBarcanista: I'm not an official of the administration, neither am I the investigator nor government prosecutor. I'm just a concerned citizen that want to seen alleged criminals to be brought to justice. If it is within my power, I will definitely charge him to court and deploy the full weight of the law against him
I am sure the investigators are gathering materials that will aide prosecution. Metuh should go get good lawyers. If he's innocent, he'll be vindicated(not bailed). But if he's not, he'll be jailed! You are a nuisance, I can't believe you are a Niger-Delta man, shame! |

Politics › Opposition Is Good For Proper Governance by Pidggin(op): 8:07pm On Jan 05, 2016 |
Every healthy democracy should have at least one thriving opposition party. There can be no democracy without opposition party(ies) because they make the ruling party sit up and govern appropraitely. But presently, we find that our ruling party detests any form of opposition. Frequent arrests of opposition party members who voice their opinions, warning statements made against the opposition, elected members of the opposition party being removed from their offices by the suspected manipulation of the judiciary e.t.c.
How come in all 36 states of this country, most of the annuled elections are from states won by the opposition party? Is it that all other states won by the present ruling party was under a different country during the election hence there was no malpractice, did INEC conduct different type of elections for states where free and fair election was observed or is it that most Northern and South Westerners are saints?
Let's allow our opposition to thrive in peace for the sake of democracy, peace. |

nedu86: In response to 10 Pains of the Nigerian Bachelor: https://www.nairaland.com/2842907/10-pains-nigerian-bachelor
Here are possible pains of the Nigerian spinster.
1. Everywhere you go, you are always asked "when are we coming to eat rice".
2. Your birthday is always nightmare. You're +1 and yet no serious relationship leading to marriage.
3. During morning and evening devotion, you are part of the prayer point.
4. Your parents and siblings prey on your salary simply because they assume you have very few responsibilities.
5. Even when you badly need a car, your family and friends would advice against such cos they feel you'd scare away potential suitors.
6. You see family and friends trying to hook you up to some dudes somewhere even against your request or wish.
7. Your aggression is simply translated to mean being a potential nagging wife. They'd always reiterate "is this how you will become a wife?".
8. You become scared of scrolling your facebook wall cos one way or the other, you'll see friends wedding pixs uploaded.
9. You become active in church activities and taking up hospitable ursher roles.
10. You become hostile to guys who just want to be your friend. Sometimes you tag them 'time wasters'.
Pls add urs! People will see you as frustrated and unhappy lmao. A married Lady I know was pointing out all the +40 singles in my area to me, I will never forget what she added "When I was thinking my problems are much at least I am better than all of them" In my mind I was wondering how? Her husband spends 8 mths out of 12 in another state, she tells me of numerous marital problems she is going through, so better how?! |

Shame on them. Most of them are benefiting from the low value of our currency, if they send £100 to their kindred that means 40K already, so why won't they support this administration that has reduced their burden. We should only take them seriously if they live here. |
