The Police Public Relations Officer, Donald Amunah has defended sealing of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) convention in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
Mr. Amunah in an interview said that the police got conflicting orders and as a neutral body they have to take charge, he also added that a court order was given to the Inspector General of Police in Abuja.
“The situation is that we have conflicting orders, the IG has been served a court order in Abuja, so we have to obey the court order.
“If this court order has to be obeyed, what do we do about the venue? We take control of the venue to avoid two worrying parties conflicting, to protect lives and properties in the state” he added

Here is my take from a Christian perspective : You need to endure your mum's harshness for a while since you don't have a choice now. Give yourself extra six months to learn a skill, sewing or hairdressing preferably.

While learning try making friends with people around you maybe one of them will be sympathetic and allow you share accommodation with them

Once you have acquired a skill, look for money and start your business. If you have a means of income 50% of your problems will be solved

As for your husband, please expose the way he treats you to his family members. Talk to your aunt one on one to win her over, if she loves you she will be on your side.

If your husband is not ready to stop beating you like the way he is doing now, you will be safer elsewhere until he changes.

Remember God hates divorce but he is not opposed to separation if you are experiencing this level of sadness in your marriage
