And how much was GEJ using to subsidize the fuel you ingrates were buying for N87 or the Kerosene you were buying for N100? Now you are paying N145 with possible increase any time from now. With endless tax even right down to your bank transactions all going into this govt pocket with no accountability

@pidggin

Yes. Am sorry if I sound blunt. I don't want to sugar coat it. I was extremely hard on my kids.

Being in doors was tough. The day times were better. But wen it's night and the gen comes on, The noise drove my kids crazy.

For older kids maybe, for younger kids I would say it a No.

And come to think of it, are Nigerian kids perfect?
No, Nigerian kids are not perfect but you can mold them as you want without anyone questioning your authority over them

It was your choice to keep them indoors all the time, you could have taken them on outings if you wanted. Younger kids survive down here too you know, it's not a death sentence bringing them to your own country.

"For God so loved the world"

The Love God has for you and I is intense

"That He gave His only begotten son"

He gave the ultimate sacrifice. Let me ask you, how many of you will give your only child up as a ransome for a stranger?

"So that whosoever believe in Him shall not die but have everlasting life"

He offered His only son so that you and I can have eternal life.

Jn 3:16

Do not listen to athiest who say there is no God. This is a big lie from the father of lies. Instead listen to God who askes you to perceive Him from the things He created

Hi, it's Sunday my people do not ignore Christ's invitation today. Heaven and earth will pass away, this world, beautiful ladies, handsome guys, etc will not last forever, you are young now but you will grow old in some years time.

Establish a relationship that will last forever

"Come to me all who labor and are heavy ladden and I will give you rest"

"Anyone who seeks me will find me"

So says the Lord of host

All under blessed GEJ. Yet APC propaganda peddlers say he destroyed our economy. If this is what destruction of the economy means then let our economy be destroyed.

"I will give you back what you lost in the years when swarms of locusts ate your crops. "Joel 2:25

If you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior He will restore those years you wasted back to you.

As for the blood covenant this is what you can do to counter it :

Go for a communion service where you will eat the flesh and drink the blood of Jesus

Read Psalm 23 and 91 loudly three times in the presence of two or more people

God will set you free in Jesus name!

I would not have bothered with a reply but be cos u mentioned kids,

I just came back 2days ago with my husband and 2kids.

It's not a sane place to live especially if ur kids were born in Europe.

If u really want to do it, then u go home for 6months, dat will help ur decision making.
It's not a sane place to live? Why do you keep coming back for visits?

OP, in terms of morals you can raise your kids the way you want here and no one will question you. It's much easier to bring up good kids down here than in Europe

Christianity EtcRe: The Devil And Demons Don't Desire Heaven: Something Is Wrong With Heaven by Pidggin(f): 8:49pm On Aug 12, 2016
HardMirror:
So the devil regularly visits God in heaven as we can see in the book of Jobs same with demons as we can see in many cases where evil spirits leave God to go and carry out one assignment or the other.
This kind of makes me wonder.
So the devil sees all the good things in heaven, yet he has refused to repent and prefers to be in hell? Same with the demon?
No even one has the common sense to desire heaven?
Yet christians that have no clue about heaven are longing to be in heaven.
The devil has been condemned to Hell and he knows he doesn't have a choice about it this is why he is seeking for souls to join him in perpetual suffering. Between you need to ensure that you are not one of the unfortunate souls

PoliticsRe: Buhari Ban Importation Of Rice But Allows Importation Of Grasses Into The Countr by Pidggin(f): 11:08pm On Aug 11, 2016
mrvitalis:
Are really this unintelligent or u just refused to see the truth??

We banned importation of rice to improve our local production and to reduce dollar demand (this in turn will help naira stabilise and create employment)

As for the importation of grass they are ment to be planted, for cows to eat and this would bost meat production, it's more like importing improved seeds for farming, u can buy cow n train if u wish

Nigerians are really unintelligent really.... If u still can see that our economy is being diversified then u are dull
Reread your post again and check if it makes sense

Going by your reasoning the same thing should be done to our oil and gas industry :bann the importation of fuel so that we can build our local refineries and produce our own fuel. Why hasn't this been done yet?

Is Nigeria producing enough rice to sustain us at a reasonable cost? NO. So why bann rice importation when local production is not yet adequate? Reason am small na, people are suffering due to the high cost of rice, it doesn't make sense.

FamilyRe: My Mother-In-law Visits Too Often, How Do I Deal With That? Please Help by Pidggin(f): 2:17pm On Aug 11, 2016
Yieldings:
You're the man of the house/your house and have every right to your privacy. That includes who comes visiting, when and how often. It's time to speak up. Your MIL shouldn't be in your home controlling you either, that's ridiculous. If this problem started shortly after you got married this year, then you and your wife have not had the chance to enjoy yourselves nor your home as newlyweds, which is especially not fair to you (since your wife isn't bothered). She stays for a week or two then returns the following weekend, smh. Since your wife is siding with her mom, give her an ultimatum: either her mother stops visiting {so often} or you send her back home to her. If she misses her daughter so much, then her daughter will be coming home where she can be seeing her everyday.
Nawa, would you advice a woman like this if the situation was the other way around?

"Leave your husband's house because his mum visits alot"

All to get likes wink
PoliticsRe: Which Loot Is Bigger Than This? by Pidggin(op): 2:10pm On Aug 11, 2016
Modsenemy:
The land didn't belong to Nigeria according to the previous agreements they've had - which is a tangible reason.
It would hav been rather unwise of Nigeria(obasanjo) to engage in a combat after being fully aware of the court ruling and the UN who were fully in support of the judgement . The war would be Nigeria vs WORLD.
You nd obasanjo knows that's suicide grin

And thirdly , considerations were given to the inhabitants o angry. They never sent them packing or destroyed their homes . They enjoy the same rights as every cameroonian.

So it's a case of "take back ya land jejelly o, ano want wahala"
Did you say Bakassi was originally owned by Cameroonhuh?

So why did Gowon (Hausa man) give it to Cameroon to stop food entering the East? Bakassi has always been owned by Nigeria

The people are Fishermen/women but after their land was ceded they were given an area without any Rivers to live in, do you call this adequate compensation?
PoliticsRe: Which Loot Is Bigger Than This? by Pidggin(op): 1:42pm On Aug 11, 2016
Modsenemy:
Have you bothered to read why Obj did that?
Of course I have but it wasn't tangible enough. No consideration was given to the inhabitants of the land and their heritage. He didn't even consider its oil wealth and the impact it would have on our economy later. It was a hasty decision made and today we have to consider how wealthy we would have been with Bakassi oil

Too bad

Giving away an oil rich area like Bakassi to Cameroon at no cost. Oil rich land that could have earned Nigeria trillions of dollars was given away for free by a Yoruba man.

This is the greatest loot ever.
