There is never a thing called closed Petition period so long as there is veritable manifestation of new evidence.

Olodo, Ngige was removed from office in the last year of his term. Na u close the petition abi?
Legal Regime on Time Limitations in Election Petitions
Section 285(5) of the Constitution stipulates that every election petition shall be filed within 21 days after the date of the declaration of result of the election. By subsection (6) of S. 285, the tribunal is bound to deliver its judgment in writing within 180 days from the date of the filing of the petition, while by subsection (7) of same section, an appeal arising therefrom shall be concluded within 60 days of the delivery of the judgment of the tribunal or court of appeal. Similar provisions on time limit for pre –election cases are enshrined under S. 285(cool,

This is why most of you fail severally in exams.
You didn't know the electoral constitution has been amended since over how many yrs now?
You are now aware, you have to submit any petition you have not more than 21 days ,from the date the winner is announced by INEC?
You are not aware from the tribunal to appeal to supreme, they all have 240 days to declare their judgement?
You are not aware, any electoral petition you have , you have to present it on or before 21 days, the winner is announced by INEC, any other days aside the 21 days, no court in the land will entertain that no matter the gravity of the evidence?
Truly, you are original number 1 mumu

Mr. Know all, when a case is closed by a court in favour of a defendant it is due to lack of evidence as always pronounced by the judge. When new damning evidence surface, the case can be opened.

As for the time frame for electoral matters, Mr know all, As u b big pikin for naija politics google for ur self political office holder that were send packing by court in their last year of office because of electoral matters. Kids everywhere
You case is irredeemable, if you don't know electoral cases have a time frame of 21 days from the day , a winner is announced by INEC, no matter the numbers of evidence you might have to present. This is why, they refer to Una as typical lazy youth

We can't meet in the polls with your 5% as it's not possible to give 5% zone presidential ticket in the first place.
It's not done that way. We know, who to align with, and they know us too.

Unfortunately, the Igbos of this generation are not Zik. We've learnt from history.

That we take history seriously is the reason we rejected Buhari twice at the polls because of his activities of the 80s. That your people do not learn from history is the reason they voted Buhari despite the abundant history of his ineptitude and bigotry in the 80s.

And with people like Orji Uzor Kalu and Okorocha getting turbaned in the north, I wonder who is more friends with the North?

Don't take pride in the betrayals of your fathers. It should be a thing of shame.

But we will never forget!
Coward, be bold enough to fight for PDP presidential ticket in 2023. Don't be a slave, it's over 21 yrs now, no promotion no sack letter

Come to with your alliance with north in 2023, we will offer your Gov General as usual, you have no choice. You know, we Sabi use Una head

Lol.

I can see our threat to align with the North to deny your darling Tinubu of presidency in 2023 is sending shocks through you people's spine.

You accuse us of politics of emotion, now we want to play practical and calculated politics and you are drinking Panadol for our headache.

And for the record, we are not begging you APC ticket.

The stretagy is simple. We will support a northener in 2023. With supposed block votes from the better half of the South, Middlebelt and at least half of northern votes, a Yoruba candidate is a goner.

Now when our candidate wins, he is supposed to lay the groundwork for his Igbo vice to succeed him. And trust me, if their administration does not stratify the nation into 97 and 5 percents, and does not supervise ethnic cleansing by Fulani jihadists nor did are they nepotistic in their appointments, then his Igbo vice succeeding him would be a walk in the park.

You know why the Yoruba is at crossroads right now? Because they've been defending the greatest atrocity of the 21st century all in search for power in 2023.

But in 2023, you will realize that the worst mistake you would ever make is to stand against the people. By then, Yakubu of INEC and the your Sharia CJN will not save you.

Take this to the Bank!
Typical cowards no balls to request salary from your employer of over 21 yrs. No one is qualified to come out in 2023.

Hasn't the leadership style of Buhari justified our rejection of him over the years?

Are you aware that if he had gained power through an alliance with the Igbos, where Igbos are today in the scheme of things, that's where the Yoruba would have been?

But the Igbos are not just interested in having one of ours as president or vice president, no, we are interested in quality leadership for Nigeria. A leader that sees Nigeria as his constituency and not leader that will stratify the nation into 97 and 5 percents.

Meanwhile, we rejected Buhari for OBJ in 2003. In 2007, we rejected him for Yaradua. Then in 2011 we rejected him for GEJ. Now place the activities of this administration in juxtaposition with the activities of these men, has Buhari surpassed in anyway? Aren't we justified?

Las Las, Osinbajo that is VP today, how body be am?

Go and meet PDP. He has told you the bitter truth. You served PDP for 21 yrs. You can't use APC to settle scores in 2023.
Evidences have shown, 2003, PMB ran with Igbo as vice president, you didn't vote him. He ran again with Igbo as VP 2007. You all rejected him. Again in 2015 and 2019, you all followed PDP..
Go and take what's rightly belong to you in PDP. No time for emotions

I agree with Uche Nwosu on this.

We don't have to continue grandstanding.

We need to appeal to other's regions' consciences.

We need to make concensions where necessary.

We need to reassure these other regions that an Igbo presidency won't be a pay back time. That it won't be used to settle old differences. And that the unity of Nigeria will be safe in our hands.

We can't do it alone. We need allies. Time to start building bridges.

You need to continue your attack on Tinubu, APC, Oshiomole, PMB,Hausa / Fulani. That's the shortest way to get either your Biafra or the 2023 presidency. A blind man is not necessary needs to be told, when it's about to rain. Nobody believes your bridge building. It's too late. You can't be asking for head of Hausa/ Fulani On Monday, Tuesday calling Yorubas different names and on Wednesday coming to build your hypocrite bridge. Your characters are known

PoliticsRe: Why The State And 18 LGA Chairmen Of APC Loyal To Obaseki Should Remain In APC. by PIMPAR: 7:56am On Jun 14, 2020
OfficialAwol:
As events continue to unfold and the likelihood of Obaseki joining PDP to actualize his second term ambition becomes clearer, I wish to suggest a stretagy to him and his team like my previous thread, where i suggested he should only present his SSCE to INEC, before I got banned an overzealous MOD who is supposedly an APC apologetic.

Now to the point, as Obaseki defects, I would suggest the APC state chairman and the 18 LGA Chairmen loyal to him should remain in APC to act spoilers.

Their job will be completely hatchet. To insist that the NWC erred when they chose the Direct primary mode without recourse to the state leadership as has been the practice and as supposedly enshrined in APC constitution or did they say it was a decision of NEC.

Now, they will continue with all court cases and possibly conduct parallel primaries or just anything that in the end, if taken to court, would lead to voiding of the APC primaries in Edo. Of course no one will deny their membership of the APC nor will anyone suspend or expel them since they are the executives of the party in their locality from where every suspension or expulsion must emanate.

Nothing is guaranteed. So their remaining in APC to play spoiler is not a guarantee for Obaseki's victory. But if in the end, everything goes well, then a triumphant entry will be organized for them into the PDP.

Let's play this politics since Oshiomole claims to be shrewd.
