then in this day and age of technology, why not if the theatrics is a must, make use of video conferencing?

Pastor Adeboye's prayers for GEJ, even sef, was mediocre verging a tad on gibberish

He's deliberately mingling politics with religion as he knows too well that the mentality of the mejority he's presiding over is such that until u coat ur actions or inactions with religion, u probably won't be accepted and he's sure making a head way with this action. Here in Nigeria, people allow sentiments and emotions cloud their reasoning far too often. We've been paying the price for allowing that tendency to become a pandemic that now afflicts even our children.

Everything that happens or needs to be discussed, just has to be given a religious "flavour" before our people can accept it!

Sometimes I wonder why we still bother getting western education. What's the point, if we'll never let ourselves use it to bring badly needed PROGRESS for our own people, like the Western nations have always done for theirs?

But will our selfish interests let us? The answer's left to each of us.

Therefore, this unhealthy dependence on "mini-god-daddies", and their political leader "co-conspirators" is something they can rise above permanently, and be better off for it!

President Jonathan's action is a public display of "HUMILIT" in disguise for a target audience. This display is targeted at those Nigerians without a discerning mind and we have a whole lot of them on here. Smh.

it means we are what we call him also.
Instead of looking for his weakness and making gest of it,
it will do us all good to celebrate his good sides.

3triangle: Thanks all for your advices, criticisms and curses at the same time. They have all helped tremendously in strengthening my resolve to quit the shameful act. Its a pity a lot of folks read my story upside down and so couldnt comprehend my pain. I knew what I was doing was wrong but I found myself then in a situation I have little control of. Thank God for today. It is different and I have a sworn resolve to keep it that way. I had a heart to heart talk with my immediate sister's hubby and poured out my misery to him in tears. Yes I had feelings for him but the abominable act that we were engaged in cannot be justified. He is my sister's husband. God also frowns at what we are doing. Contrary to what many said, I have no remote intent of taking my sister's husband. I have made peace with my creator and can never go back to that life. I have enough savings to move but my sisters will not hear me say that. He understands my seriousness and therefore respected himself ever since. Thanks all once again.
