I see strange figures. Man at the top, horse from the belly downwards. Centaurs!? I promise i and a friend once saw this creature, centaur in okija, anambra state some yrs back. Its incredible but it's the truth |
These people are just incredible! While South Africa power generation stands at 34,000MW at the moment, they are celebrating 4,350MW and calling it a "feat?" bunch of old fools |
Ha, I kan bé |
Iaz93: going to church doesnt make you a christian...Lol! What does it make me? A Muslim? ![]() |
That's one small step for humanity and a giant leap for mankind. Nice job! |
r u an artheist...hav tu ask, cos ur articles nd comments insinuate u r?
Unfortunately I'm not. I go to church so that makes me a christian I guess, don't it? Cuz I choose to be rational n objective n refuse to worship pastors as most nigerians do does not make me an atheist, does it? |
sokoto: i beg make no body course me, my own is dat , if God can only open our eyes we wld see dat jona realy needs prayer at dis time of his life also jona understands dat every leader needs a prophet n i can tell dis is the reason why dis man has fine a way into Gods heart.Dont be suprise coming electing he wins again. If Jona wins next election I will disown nigeria. I will rip my green passport n I will move the remainder of my familt out. |
warrior01: you're indeed worse than a compound foolLol I hear u. Keep wallowing in ignorance |
fellis: I asked a question before; why was the pastor standing when Jonathan was kneeling? If anything the pastor should be the one kneeling because he is the one that is supposed to be communicating with God and asking God for favours.Omg wow u just said it all sista. I'm always happy whn I realize there are still some few nigerians who can think straight |
A lot of nigerians are hippocrates who run to God cuz of uncertainties. How manry of u will remeber God if ur rich and ok? Na poverty dey cuz most of una to remember God. Lol |
babaearly: Most of you low iq nigerians fail to look beyond the personality of jonathan and see the office he holds. THE PRESIDENCY is not a personal office, it is not a RELIGIOUS POST, there are many serious politics involved. Why are you guys so blinded and biased?I just don't know! |
ehispapa: you are an asshole...is jonathan greater than God?So after reading that post, "is Jonathan greater than God" Is what u can deduce from it? Lord, why do Nigerians allow religion to cloud their thinking? I weep for u all! |
moredendisc: @pimp_lucious thnx n I say amen to that n take bk my word ![]() |
moredendisc: It does, and can stop you from being a christian, if people think you find controlling prostitutes_, arranging clients for them and taking a percentage of their earnings in return liciousDoes ur alias moredandisc on here makes u more than disc? I'm not a p..imp bro, I dnt control pr..ostitute or arrange clients for them. I am not my name on nl. Its just a nick I use here. Nothing more. |
ademo1: @ the poster, u r a big fool. U must definately be a muslim. U people u dont see what is good in christianity. For ur infomation he was not worshiping Pastor Adeboye but God. If u make gest of him dat he prays to the Lord in public God will definately curse u, ur entire family and ur generation as he did to d wife of David in d Holy Bible which made her d only barren in d bible. I'm not suprise at ur statement, u ppl were jubilating dat a christian Governor died to b replaced by muslim Governor in Kaduna. I'll also tell u dat u people pray in d national mosque and bow down to Ordinary Imam including all former muslim head of state. God will preserve GEJ. I am from Ondo state, I wonder why u hausa play politics along religion. We vote in my state for integrity not religion. I supported Aregbesola (muslim) for Osun state gov. Regardles his religion. Once again for mocking God. I curse ur life and ur generation unless u ask for forgiveness. NonsenseWhichever curse uve rendered will go back to u n ur family such that it will be too much to handle ur generation unborn will share from it and hand the remaining to ur 9th n 10th generation. Same goes to all who hv used foul word towards me on here. U man worshiping thick heads unable to read btw lines |
fellis: Why has this thread not died? I didn't even know that this thread was going to go this far when I posted in it yesterday, only for me to come to NL today and find it on frontpage. Why bother? I wouldn't if I was u. People on here are only bitter towards u cuz u mentioned their god - adeboye |
lion042: if i insult u now, them go say i dont start. why wont he knee down for God? be careful oooo, u talk anyhow with ur mouth Memphis357: Okaaaaaaaaaaaay!! I get it now. Pastor Adeboye is Nigeria's God Almighty!!! No wonder.........Hahaha lmao. Adeboye is his God. ![]() |
@pimp_lucious For the benefit of naive readers, please clarify what the pimp_ stands for or means in "pimp_lucious" As much as I agree with your posts so far, I am unable to be dragged in, backing you up as such, except for one or two lines and the below about the "Traffic Gridlock" caused by this. GEJ make a poor decision or judgement of attending the camp and came across as silly, ridiculous and foolish because he didn't know any better He didn't have to attend the camp because answered prayers are not subjected to geographical location, physical touch etc. Pastor Adeboye was insensitive by having no feeling or concern for others as regards the pains and hardships caused by GEJ coming to the camp It was bad as it is, without GEJ turning up . . . Pastor Adeboye succumbed to his chequered ego boosting and inflated sense of self-importance. Having a form of godliness but lacking the power thereof . . . If not, he, Pastor Adeboye, could have reassured GEJ that praying for him over the phone is adequate and that there is no need for him, Pastor Adeboye, to physically see GEJ If push turned to shove because GEJ wants a Public Relations (i.e. PR) stunt display of humility, submission or humbleness then in this day and age of technology, why not if the theatrics is a must, make use of video conferencing? Pastor Adeboye's prayers for GEJ, even sef, was mediocre verging a tad on gibberish My alias on nl does not stop me from being a xtian, does it? U said in ur post that "GEJ make a poor decision or judgement of attending the camp" I can confidently tell u that it was a delibrate action. He's deliberately mingling politics with religion as he knows too well that the mentality of the mejority he's presiding over is such that until u coat ur actions or inactions with religion, u probably won't be accepted and he's sure making a head way with this action. Like u said, he could hv called adeboye for prayers over the phone but he didn't and pple think he actually drove down from abuja to lagos ibadan express way just to receive prayers from adeboye? Lol I bow to nigerians o |
Memphis357: Dude, please don't. With all the comments I've seen tonight,I've concluded that Nigerians do not worship God. They worship MEN!!!!!Its soo disgusting. U actually don't hv to read my post carefully to understand where I stand on this issue but the many hippocrates about got defensive cuz I mentioned their god adeboye. |
Yeparipa! Now you have just gone and ruined it. Your original post was on the edge of not making sense. ..but some of us managed to look deeper to pull something sensible out of it but with this last post. . .you have crossed over, taking many with you. The news report about Amen Quota was a satire. ...A Satire!!!!! A satire? I can see u are delusional |
That reminds me. Isn't it this same Jonathan that once refused to say amen while a pastor was rendering prayers claiming his "amen quota" for that period has been exhausted? Hippocrates! u all will burn in hell for supporting evil. A LEADER IS GOTTEN FROM THE KIND OF PEOPLE ABOUT. U deserve the kind of leaders u get. We can't and won't get the likes of Obama, Cameron etc as leaders because we do not, I repeat, we do not deserve such. Until a vast majority of us changed our ways, we will continue wallow in misery. |
Here in Nigeria, people allow sentiments and emotions cloud their reasoning far too often. We've been paying the price for allowing that tendency to become a pandemic that now afflicts even our children. Everything that happens or needs to be discussed, just has to be given a religious "flavour" before our people can accept it! Sometimes I wonder why we still bother getting western education. What's the point, if we'll never let ourselves use it to bring badly needed PROGRESS for our own people, like the Western nations have always done for theirs? Too much poor thinking persists amongst us - especially the so called educated Nigerians/elites. And our shrewd leaders have perfected their strategy for exploiting that serious shortcoming, to routinely achieve their selfish aims. All we need do is become fiercely committed to being objective on all issue, and to remain fair and impartial in our dealings with one another no matter what, then, in no time we would change the course of affairs in this country for the better with a united front. But will our selfish interests let us? The answer's left to each of us. Therefore, this unhealthy dependence on "mini-god-daddies", and their political leader "co-conspirators" is something they can rise above permanently, and be better off for it! |
toyingbad: The poster of this thread clearly displays spiritual immaturityI suggest u ask God for discerning sppirit, then u will see beyond the ordinary. I'm a Christian and I sure can't be fool by such display of crass stupidity by the president |
President Jonathan's action is a public display of "HUMILIT" in disguise for a target audience. This display is targeted at those Nigerians without a discerning mind and we have a whole lot of them on here. Smh. |
Alxmyr: The bible tells about the wife of David, the king who despised David for dancing wreaklessly before the people and disgrace himself before Israelites. The king replied her and said, he (David) was dancing before GOD who made him king over Israel and prefer him over Saul, the wife's father. And the result. The wife was the only woman recorded in the bible that died barren.I'm assuming u didn't read my earlier post... As a private citizen he can crawl on the road before any Imam or Pastor I won't make a comment of that. But, as my President, his religion and religious practice has to be his private business away from public glare. If he chooses to lick Adeboye's anus inside his Aso Rock room, that's not my business but not this rubbish in well-publicised religious jamboree as this. It's a very ridiculous sight to behold. It potrays a foolish President and an arrongant Pastor! The sensible thing would have been for BOTH OF THEM to go on their knees in prayers if indeed they were before God and not the President kneeling like some sacrificial lamb before a mere mortal! |
malele: Compound FOOLSo after reading that post, u still couldn't decipher my stand on this issue? If so, I have nothing to say to u. And I wouldn't stoop so low trading abuses with u |
keyremotes: @ pimp_luciousAgreed I shouldn't have resulted to name calling just that some of his actions are annoying I couldn't help it. |
fellis: Jonathan is a disgrace. Foolish thing. He does not know the implication of him, the president and overall head of the country, going on his knees before a pastor. What I'm actually bitter about is the fact that he has to display his stupidity once again to the world to see. He obviously didn't consider how religiously polarized nigeria is. That display is highly unintelligent. I wouldn't have been bothered If he did this in the private of his room away from from a publicized event as this. I SHAKE MY HEAD for the leaders of this country |
ITbomb: He didn't kneel for the Pastor , he knelt before God cos God is the overall sovereignty. Thanks for your matured contribution. Please see my reply above to keyremotes' post. |
keyremotes: Oga what is disgusting about it.As a private citizen he can crawl on the road before any Imam or Pastor I won't make a comment of that. Is this for real? 2 state governors, 1 ex National Security Adviser in just one day? |
