Emir was imposed on them after a bloody palace coup by Jihadist Alimi the terrible terrorist that once migrated to Ilorin for business.

One govnor Lawal Mohd in 2002 attempted to do the right thing by degrading the Emir and installing the real Afonja dynasty as main Oba of Ilorin..... He was killed.

Then the scion of Olushola the godfather took over as new govnor.... 2003.

Before you get a gig, you go wait Taya. Don't quite your job except you have other way to generate money first

RomanceShould Married Women Go Clubbing? by Pineapplelove(op): 7:53am On Feb 15, 2021
tyemokhia:
Quote
One question asked which I think would interest a hand full of people is, should married women go clubbing? Though the question refers particularly to women, I think the same can be asked on married men. Is there a straight answer like Yes they can or No they shouldn’t?
Marriage is a step into a new level of living, a different dimension a union that can either spell doom or bliss depending on the level of knowledge, wisdom and support possessed. One true fact is that you cannot continue to live as a single person after marriage. That would be recipe for argument, discord and perhaps divorce. Marriage demands new sets of rule, behaviours and attitudes in every aspect of your new life together. For every action and decision taken, your spouse needs to be considered.
Back to the question about clubbing. First, what is the reason behind your desire to go clubbing? What are your intentions? Are they noble? Is your spouse comfortable with you going out clubbing? If your spouse went with you, would he/she be comfortable with your behaviour? I guess if these questions are genuinely thought true with a true heart, the answer would be quite obvious.
The thought process should apply to other decisions you may have doubts about. In marriage it’s detrimental to take unilateral decisions without taking your spouse into consideration. Sometimes compromises need to be made to achieve harmony in the marriage. Other times you just have to agree to disagree on certain issues when a stale mate is reached. Both parties should apply equal efforts to making the union work, it’s more of a symbiotic relationship rather than parasitic. Sometimes the dominating or more outspoken spouse may tend to impose his/her desires and wishes on the other, while in the short term he/she may succeed, in the long run the outcome may not be pleasing. The crux of he matter is that both parties should dialogue and reach a decision they are both happy and comfortable with.

PoliticsRe: The Nigerian Navy - Black Africa's Biggest Sea Power by Pineapplelove(f):
Rossntti:
You can say the same for virtually all the world's navies.

US annual military spending is the highest on earth,  and is more than the next 6 countries combined.

But what's the point of referring to them?

The Nigerian Navy is not being built to fight the United States..

Nigeria is a US ally and its biggest trading partner in Africa.

The navy's main focus is on defending the nation against regional and continental threats.

RomanceRespect Your Marriage By Xxcarolxx by Pineapplelove(op): 1:06pm On Dec 13, 2020
Im not saying all married men are cheats. But i have been hit on by two married men within a month. Today this same guy came into the shop asking me out, asking for my phone no saying he wants to date me. Meanwhile he is wearing a wedding ring. I do not know if his wife is here in this country or in 9ja. But told him there is no way i will ever date him. I just feel sorry for his wife as this guy will have an affair, with some girl who wont care about the ring on his finger. So please have respect for the vows you took at the altar. Its not just you wife you cheat on but your kids as well.

FamilyPoverty Stricken Africans Receive Desperately Needed Bibles by Pineapplelove(op): 12:48pm On Dec 13, 2020
I was reading a link on face book about starving people in niger, receiving bibles, I would love to know what makes a person think that by giving a person a bible how is that going to help the starving, A christina clarkson raised funds in the states to bring bibles to niger, She said the people cried when i opened the back of the truck thats how moved they were by the holy spirit, I think it was more tears of frustration, Maybe i'm wrong, but why on earth couldn't she have used the money raised to buy cows and chickens and goats or even bring them food, This is probably in the wrong section,
