Sex can stimulate the cervice to go into labour and moreover the risk of the penis touching the cervice can lead to infection. In about two or three weeks after the surgery, you can have sexxx but your hubby has to be very gentle and also it all depends on the situation and condition of the pregnancy, so like i said,,ask your doctor, he/she knows your history better.

Darling, crying unceccesarily during pregnancy is absolutly very normal, it's just the hormones acting up,,,but try to avoid overdramatising as much as possible cos not everybody will understand it's due to your pregnant condition.

On another note, am in another world right now, I've started feeling kicks and I hve to say dat dis my daughter no dey play. When I went for my mid pregnancy scan d radiologist sed 'this little one is too active, I can't even get all d pics I need' and I sed jst like her mother. The radiologist sed b4 she can take a pic of one part of d body d baby has turned.
Now I've been scheduled for my level 2 ultrasound and I hope she lets them take all d measurements they need.
Evryone says am a very dramatic pregnant woman, evrythng makes me want to shed a tear cos sometimes it's so surreal. Sometimes I brng out all d baby clothes I bought n jst bury myself in them. I honestly can't wait to meet her....yea I knw am dramatic.
My prayer to God is to raise her to b so close to him and cal him first in evrythng she does.

@ Blendy, am really trying, and to think that am not even eating well by my own standards,water dey taste like bitter leaf for my mouth,soft drink is the only life saver so i try to limit it to just pepsi,God help me cos am already on the big side even before the pregnancy;Anyway, during my last scan, we heard only 1 heartbeat so am guessing it's only 1 but who knows, i might go for my next one and we'll hear 3 heartbeats ,,AMEN!!!!

Blendy77: Finally I was able to upload the pics with my phone. This is me at 30wks. Wasn't as big as Pinkdaisy at 16wks cos I was told I have retroverted uterus as in its tilted inwards so didn't really show on time. Now am really heavy and everyone stares at me when ever I decide to take a walk as if am carrying 2 bags of cement tied to my waist. Its embarrassing and fun at the same time as most people even my bosses just let me have my way all the time. Who say pregnancy no good? Lol!!!

Good morning all, Thank God for all these wonderful testimonies; Weekend was aight,,had a lot of rest, the type i've not had in weeks, Hope all of you got some good well needed rest, especially the working preggies,,,bless you Lord!

I have not been eating well oh, infact, i force myself to eat, no cravings at all unlike some other preggies i know and see around. The only thing i enjoy eating these days is cat fish peppersoup and very cold pepsi, and i obviously have to be careful about that cos of the strong spices and sugar; Please, what do i do to help improve my apetite

By the way, supernatural baby is growing fast- 17 weeks already,can't even manage sleeping face up or belly down again (my best sleeping positons), no matter how i try,,,,,all good sha, na to pose with pillow for my back and leg so i dnt fall back to my back again once am fast asleep.

Abeg any ideas on improving my apetite will be greatly appreciated.

I think it's about time i told my own story.

I fortunately enough have not gone through half the hell most of my other virteous woman have but i have also been put through the fire of unbelief and fear.
My own struggle started even before i got married,,,,,,,,all of a sudden, my period stopped and so many other things went wrong, mood swings, unexplained weight gain, extreme fatigue, strange lump growing on my throat and so on and so forth.I went from 1 hospital to the other knowing all was not well with me but trust Nija docs naw, they'll say nothing is really wrong, it's just your weight and you need to exercise and diet more. Some even put me on certain medications just to force my period back. nothing worked. My family was so worried for me but my then boyfrien who is my husband today , told me not to worry but just pray for a solution.Somehow, i got talking with a colleague of mine explaining how i have been feeling lately and she just suggested i go see a certain doctor, who carried out series of test and finally discovered that i was Hypothyroidic and progressing into Goiter, he said i should go and goggle the illness and the information i got online was not encouraging at all.I had no previous idea of what sort of condition that was but was devaststed nonetheless.
The internet gave me information such as being on medication for life, progressing into diabetis later in life, NOT BEING ABLE TO CONCEIVE DUE TO LACK OF OVULATION and having my thyroid removed completely to halt the growth of the goiter. my mistake was accepting what i told and resigning myself to a life of pity and faithlessness even to the point that when my boyfriend proposed to me after over 4 years of courtship, i refused to marry him based on the fact that i may not be able to have kids, but he insisted stating that deep in his heart he knows that He would be a father cos God has promised him that and that his wife would give him children.
To cut the long story short, i stopped all my medications and started speaking to the hypo, i declared to my body to be free of any disease and i just believed i was healed, i studied God's word and declared it upon my self and my husband, month to month, still no period but i no worry,,,,finally i felt cramps one day and waallaaa see bl;ood,,,,,after almost 3 years.from that month, i became regular and immediately i missed my period, i knew God had done it,,,,,,had my test at about 2 weeks and it was very very faint but hubby said it was +ve IJN and i believed, we prayed about it and went for blood work,,,it came out clear positive and i mumulishly became afriad of taking Okada or riding the car into any bump or pothole.

Long and short of this is taht, WHEN YOU BELIEVE THEN YOU SHALL RECIEVE,,,,,,my main disease was believing the wrong information and not taking what God has said about me seriously.
God who put these miraculous LOs in us will perfectly hold them still in there, nourish them and form them and we shall have them whole IJN.

Zenoj, God is really awesome; just when you least expect it, he springs a BIG BIG surprise on you.

@SEANBELL AND PRETTYMOMMA, my sisters i asked the doctor over and over again if i should continue using pregnacare and he said i should,,na wah for some docs sha, he didn't even prescribe any particular prenantal vits for me sef,,the hospital just counted all those their county-county medicne put for nylon cary give me. Anyway, as soon as it's lunch break, am rushing to MedPlus to ask for the Ferobin abi na FEROMIN,,,,,my next appointment - friday, i go ask am again whether make i switch.

My sisters, congrats to all the preggies and to the TTCs, don't worry, God is faithful. Please is there anything wrong with taking vitamin K cos am on pregnacare,,,,,,am 15 weeks 6 days today and Jehovah has been my strenght.

Abeg i need response to the vit K matter cos am taking the pregnacare religiuosly since am not eating so well and i don't want to overadd weight cos my weight is already unimaginable as of now.

It means yur uterus is enlarging, making room for the precious gift inside of you. Pls take it easy, eat well
,(more of fruits &veggies), drink a lot of water and if you have not started, pls do start taking Pre-Natal drugs especially Folic Acid becos it helps in healthy development of yur baby. Enjoy this period becos it is precious.
