Romance / Re: My Fiancee Earns More Than Me And It's Making My Life Miserable by piscean(m): 9:22pm On May 17, 2007
you are obviously that type that would like to be called 'master' by people you regard as lowly classed.Unfortunately, your fiancee can't be "squeezed" into this category!
i'll tell you what to do- GET A GUN AND SHOOT YOUR BALLS OFF FOR NOT HAVING A BETTER PAYING JOB(just playing with you o!) but seriously, you need to worry less about things like these as they cause a whole lot of stirs in relationships especially when you as a man start to allow you ego to come into play, because of money

would you like your wife to earn less and always ask you for money or would you rather be the best that you can and allow her some sort of financial independence too? think about it
Career / SOS: I Need A Part-time Job by piscean(m): 1:08am On May 07, 2007
is there anyone who knows how i can get a part-time job that would be fun and would involve a good number of people

i need one badly now because i'm on industrial attachment and its going to run for about 7months.this aint the best time to start thinking of changing as its going to affect me in school terribly but i have an option of a part time job that would be fulfilling and would also leave some testi(monies) in my pockets.
Family / Re: Family Tragedy by piscean(m): 11:59pm On May 05, 2007
the boy went thru more drama and who knows maybe he's commited suicide already! He probably feels he's the cause of the whole drama. If he had done his momma, his sista wouldnt have been raped, his father wouldnt have been shot, his mom wouldnt have gone into a coma,

Fashion/Clothing Market / Re: Prices Of Clothes In Nigeria by piscean(m): 10:37pm On Apr 28, 2007
its kind of easy to break into the nigerian market, all you need is some money to spend and wont really bother about. You need to be able to connect with your customers in avery unique way which starts from the kind of brands you bring in(even if they are relatively unknown) and they've got to be good. I'll use TWICE AS NICE as an example; when it was launched, a lot of people used to look at it like just one other boutique in the area until it opened an outlet at the palms shopping mall in lekki. It may be hard to believe now that even students save up to buy shirts from them though maybe not from the outlet at the palms but one closer to the school community and they wont stop talking about these shirts

Another example is the T.M LEWIN shop at the Silverbird Galleria-a lot of my student friends used to buy there until TWICE AS NICE stepped up with a little competition-------understand what i mean.

Bottom line is before you come over, look at a shop that currently offers the kind of service you want to there and why people are trooping there and come here and replicate or better still, do something that would involve more students(men they've got money to spend) especially if your goods stay in the 2k range

PS: Just make sure your stuff is nice

Politics / Truck Bomb At INEC Headquarters by piscean(m): 10:40am On Apr 21, 2007
what is this country turning into?
is it by force that some people become president or how else would you explain a TRUCK BOMB

LAGOS, Nigeria - A truck bomb aimed at electoral commission headquarters ran into barriers and failed to explode hours before the start of Nigeria's presidential vote, the national police chief said Saturday.

Sauce Kid (sam bo ri bobo) i heard a couple of his tracks and i think he is just OK, yankified and bucksd up

mode9 (needs no introduction)- he is a living rap legend in nigeria

Sauce kid is trying to start some kinda beef with mode9 calling him to a freestyle battle + some shiznit i dont wanna go into its details. i just wanna know if anybody's heard and compared both of them and what y'all feel
Music/Radio / Re: 2baba: Unstoppable by piscean(m): 6:33pm On Apr 19, 2007
i like the way these peeps are putting lagos on the world map where it belongs. First it was jazzman with his "lagos" thang, then OJB with his SL steeze, now the king of the steel wheel spinners-DJ Jimmy Jatt with the phat collabo. Can i get the loudest ovation for these representers

LAGOS till my bones get weak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Business / Re: What Business Can I Start With Little Capital? by piscean(m): 10:18am On Apr 19, 2007
why dont you try to create a web page or get someone to do one for you, then you start something close to naira land and give seun a run for his money since you have so much skills i guess you would have so much up there at least to spark all the necessary conversations there
better still, start a nairaland fan club on the internet -something close to hi5 and with a lot of benefits at least football clubs too have unofficial websites and read all you can while you can to broaden your scope

Romance / Re: Which Of These Two Women Should I Marry? by piscean(m): 9:39am On Apr 19, 2007
my brother i would advice you to go for A as she would at least make you happy for most of the day and the sex thing- she's probable still a newbie in the game and you need to be a little more patient with her and with time you'd be taking her bedroom skills to the bank for some money grin

B is like the devil, gives you what she knows you'd die to have. How are you so sure she wouldnt be making other people happy in the day and moreover all she does to you is just in a matter of minutes. Hell no, even your friends wont give a damn about her "sex" when she starts to act up
Romance / Re: My Boyfriend Has Hired A Private Detective To Investigate Me! by piscean(m): 9:25am On Apr 19, 2007
i bet there are a million and one guys in naija that would beat this guy hands down when it comes to love, affection, money, time and everything in between. Girl from me to you,one advice- give this guy a reason to regret he ever mentioned such a thing to you by faking a break-up and wait for his reactions
TV/Movies / Re: Why Are Nigerian Cartoons Rare? by piscean(m): 1:37am On Apr 19, 2007
pls they should not even try it o! when they started with home videos-a nollywood was born. What would become of a thriving cartoon industry (another cart-nollywood that would have the same star character in all the animations)

Fashion / Re: Being A Plus-sized Model by piscean(m): 12:41am On Apr 19, 2007
someday soon skeletons would dominate the runways all in the name of fashion, but come to think of it what happens when you've got a plus-size model walking down the runway with plenty flesh hanging outta your haute couture design. IS that still a part of knowing what "it" would look like on her!!!!
