Real Madrid fans sent a message to Jose Mourinho during Saturday's defeat to Eibar - calling for him to "come back soon". Sanitago Solari's first game in charge as permanent coach ended in embarrassment with the visitors thumped 3-0. Thibaut Courtois, Gareth Bale, Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric all started the clash but failed to make an impact against the mid-table side. Los Blancos now sit in sixth, six points behind La Liga leaders and rivals Barcelona. Solari was brought in to replace Julen Lopetegui who was sacked in October after just four months in charge. Real's new boss did lead his side to four straight victories while he was interim manager, but Saturday's defeat shows how far Los Blancos still need to go. With that in mind, some of the Real fans that travelled to the Eibar game brought with them a banner directed at Mourinho. Alongside the Portuguese's face, it read: "Come back soon." A separate banner with Mourinho's name can also be spotted in the background of the image. After Saturday's draw against Crystal Palace the Red Devils now sit in seventh, 14 points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City. During his three seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu, Mourinho won one La Liga title and one Copa del Rey. Florentino Perez is also a fan of the Portuguese with recent reports suggesting the Real chief could make a move for Mourinho. Former Vice President and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has apologized for joining the groups, who came together to form the All Progressives Congress. He said the apology had become necessary because of the sufferings Nigerians had been subjected to in the last three and half years from a party he played a role in bringing to power. Atiku, who spoke on Thursday in Yola, Adamawa State, during a c with residents of Jimeta, described the APC as an assembly of ‘elements’ that came together to defraud the country. He said the party had flopped in changing the fortunes of Nigerians for good. He stated, "I lamented being part of the party which never deemed it fit to fulfil all of the promises it made to Nigerians. “If I had known that the APC would be such a colossal failure and disgrace, I would never had joined the party. “The APC has failed to fulfill even one of the promises it made to Nigerians. The APC is simply an assembly meant to defraud Nigerians.” Speaking further, the former Vice-President said that the country would not survive another four years if the APC was returned to power in 2019. Senate President Bukola Saraki has approached President Muhammadu Buhari to institute an inquiry into the death of the prime suspect in the April 5 Offa robbery attacks, Michael Adikwu, because it has several implications for the country’s legal system. Saraki, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Yusuph Olaniyonu, also noted that the development could affect the nation’s engagement with the international community He said the international community had consistently cited the issues of human rights abuse and extrajudicial killings by security forces as major reasons for their reluctance to sell arms to Nigeria in the fight against Boko Haram. The Senate President stated,“One of the key issues those of us who have been engaging with the international community on the need for them to support Nigeria in the fight against terrorism in the North-East through supply of arms, provision of training and other technical aid has been confronting is that of the flagrant abuse of human rights and extrajudicial killings by our security agencies. “This is an instance of what these international partners complain about. The Presidency should make a point that the present government does not tolerate human rights abuse, extrajudicial killings, politically-motivated criminal investigation and refusal to comply with global best practices by security agencies by instituting an inquiry into the case of the death of this suspect.” The Senate President called for diligent prosecution of the case so that justice could be done to the innocent victims of the Offa robbery, the suspects facing trial and the state whose peace was disturbed by the sad incident. At the point when news became viral online amid the week that student of Babcock University held afro-pop vocalist,Kizz Daniel hostage for refusing to perform at an event organized by Babcock University Students’ Association, (BUSA), after receiving a performance fee of N3Million, many believed something was amiss. However, Kizz Daniel’s Publicist, Stephen Chibuzor, who spoke to Showtime, has set the records straight on the scandal. "Kizz Daniel had a booking with Babcock University Students' Association, yet they didn't expressly say the time he ought to be on ground. On that day he just came back from Dubai and there was no vehicle to pass on him from the airplane terminal to their school. They were aware he was to return from Dubai where he went for One Africa Music Fest, but probably thought not sending the usual artiste welfare rider was nothing. By the time they sorted out the transportation issue the show had ended. Kizz accepted to perform for N3Million, which is very low, he doesn’t do below N5million, but because it was Babcock he accepted. But their money has been returned”, he said. He added that Kizz Daniel owed Babcock University Students no apologies, rather they owe the Woju crooner unreserved apologies because their actions were disrespectful and defaming. “I don’t think he owes them anything. In fact, they owe him one for defaming his character and disrespecting him. If you read their disclaimer, they are already guilty of not communicating the call time, and not meeting up with the rider and we gave them such a ridiculous fee”, he said. "The officers played along and in the end captured three suspects with the money. Give me a chance to guarantee you that the on-going investigation will be thorough to bring all those remotely connected to justice.” "Ali also disclosed that the Apapa Command of the service within the same period seized two aircraft.
