A prominent Qatari cleric and academic is under fire over a video he posted on YouTube showing how Muslim men should beat or punish their wives according to the Islamic law. The three-minute long video has Abd Al-Aziz Al-Khazraj explaining and demonstrating how to beat your wife and features a little boy that he uses as an example. Abd Al-Aziz Al-Khazraj starts the video by saying, “Many people especially people who are married would like to know how to beat one’s wife. Is beating your wife necessary? Must a man beat his wife every day? No. First, we must understand that the man is the leader of the house.” “The leader of the house must decide to discipline the wife so life can move on,” he continues. "First, he must admonish her – in other words, he should advise her. Then, he should refrain from sharing a bed with her. If all of this doesn't help, we start the beating as a last resort. The comment section on the YouTube video has, however, been disabled presumably to avoid being attack as the topic is sensitive. click here: WATCH VIDEO HERE source: cc:lalasticlala cc:mynd44

After almost two years of anticipation, the final season of Game of Thrones finally began this week. Eager fans around the world tuned in on Sunday to watch ‘Winterfell’ - and now it seems that the majority viewers watched the episode illegally. New data from MUSO, the global authority on digital piracy, has revealed that the episode was pirated 54,261,910 times within the first 24 hours of its premiere. In comparison, HBO’s official figures revealed that just 17.4 million watched the episode legally. Delving deeper into the results, MUSO revealed which countries illegally streamed the episode the most. India and China were the countries where most people illegally streamed the episode, followed by the US, UK and Nigeria. Andy Chatterley, co-founder and CEO of MUSO, said: "Perhaps unsurprisingly, the relentless, global demand for access to HBO’s Game of Thrones, through both legitimate and illegitimate channels, is still absolutely staggering. “Season 8 has been long-anticipated by fans around the world, leading to what can only be described as piracy mania as dedicated fans look for streams and torrents, whether that be a result of the content not being available in their region, wanting to get in on the action early through fear of missing out, or to avoid seeing spoilers on social media. “The episode also leaked hours in advance of the premiere, causing a frenzy on torrent and streaming sites across the world. “Regardless of rationale, the piracy figures for just the first 24 hours since the episode aired demonstrate that these audiences cannot - and should not - be ignored. “Despite considerable global efforts to tackle piracy over the past couple of years, this data shows that consumers are still being driven to unlicensed sources to find content. “It’s imperative that rights holders understand that piracy audiences are some of their most dedicated fans, which, above all else, presents a vast commercial opportunity.” SEE MORE: http://starnation.com.ng/first-episode-of-game-of-thrones-was-pirated-55-million-times-in-just-24-hours/

Chelsea are the subject of interest from British self-made billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe . The UK's richest man - whose wealth dwarfs industrialist-turned-media mogul Sir Len Blavatnik and Sir Philip Green - is keen to take charge at Stamford Bridge. Sir Jim made his fortune with petrochemicals company Ineos but has always wanted to acquire a Premier League football club. The 66-year-old is worth in excess of £21billion and recently purchased Team Sky. He is a season ticket holder at Chelsea and, according to The Times , is seriously exploring the idea of buying the club. But even though he isn't shy of a few quid, the Manchester-based tycoon will have to cough-up if he is to convince Roman Abramovich to sell. The Russian reportedly requires £2.5b to hand the Blues over, more than 15 years after buying the club for just £140m. That would secure a whopping profit having reined-in his spending in recent years. Ratcliffe already owns Swiss football club Lausanne-Sport but is known to want to join the big boys and he thinks a deal to buy the five-time Premier League champions is possible. Abramovich has come under pressure after a number of poor years, having last won the league in 2017. Maurizio Sarri is in danger of being sacked in his first season with the club struggling to make the Champions League for the second year running. Abramovich is said to be considering the future after the club suffered a huge stadium blow. They also face a transfer ban for the next two windows after being hit by a FIFA charge. Plans for the redevelopment of their current home were shelved after a number of serious complications. The club blamed “an unfavourable investment climate” but that did little to quell rumours he wants rid of the club. Abramovich accepts Chelsea will struggle to compete at the very top unless crowds are in-line with Europe's elite clubs. Ratcliffe would be willing to invest in the team to held return the club to their peak, according to the reports. Women who smoke cannabis before sex have better orgasms , according to a new study. Researchers at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine found that smoking the drug can lead to orgasms that are twice as strong as usual. In the study, the team surveyed 373 participants about their sex lives, including their sex drive, lubrication and orgasms. Participants were also asked about whether or not they were cannabis-smokers, and whether they used the drug before sex. The results revealed that 34% of participants smoked cannabis before sex. Of the female participants who said they did, most also reported increases in sex drive, improvements in orgasm, decreases in sex pain, but no change in lubrication. While the reason for these effects remain unclear, the researchers put forward a range of theories. In their study, published in Sexual Medicine , the researchers, led by Dr Becky Lynn, wrote: “The question of how marijuana leads to these positive changes in sexual function is unknown. “It has been postulated that it leads to improvement in sexual function simply by lowering stress and anxiety. “It may slow the temporal perception of time and prolong the feelings of pleasurable sensations. “It may lower sexual inhibitions and increase confidence and a willingness to experiment. “Marijuana is also known to heighten sensations such as touch, smell, sight, taste, and hearing.” Either way, the researchers hope their findings could help to develop treatments for female sexual dysfunction. A South African singer is thought to have accidentally broadcast live footage of her partner assaulting her in her home. Babes Wodumo has been urged to give a formal statement to police after an Instagram session in her bedroom was interrupted by a man reportedly her boyfriend fellow musician Mandla 'Mampintsha' Maphumulo, 36. The following 38 seconds of footage shows Babes Wodumo, real name Bongekile Simelane, being attacked, punched and pulled by the hair by the man. The shocking clip sparked outrage in South Africa, and has now become part of a police investigation. A South African police spokesman said: "The national commissioner has ordered police to trace the whereabouts of Ms Wodumo so that a statement can be obtained from her and a case opened if indeed it's her being assaulted in the video." Wodumo has declined to comment, but later re-posted the violent clip on her Instagram after the alleged attack. Her team posted on her Twitter account that 'we would like to thank everyone for the messages (of) support about the early morning video'. Wodumo, a celebrated performer of gqom music which blends traditional African sounds with house music, will issue a statement later on Monday, it added. Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa said he was "horrified" and called on the singer to press charges. Several high-profile women in the entertainment industry have posted messages of support for Wodumo. 'My heart is really sad for Babes Wodumo and no women should have to go through this,' wrote DJ Tira on her Instagram. A teenage girl was found hanged after finding naked photos of herself were being sold on social media. The 19-year-old, named in reports as Julissa, reportedly became depressed after spotting the intimate images online. She was the victim of "Packs de Monclova", a social media account which has allegedly share the photographs of 300 women online without their consent. Local media in Monclova, Mexico, says sites have reportedly showed the names of the girls and a "sample" of images so a user could then choose to pay to see more naked images of the women. The user would make a deposit online and be sent a folder of the images. And Julissa was discovered hanged in her bathroom one week after finding her pictures on the web, it's understood. "We found that in a Facebook group, screenshots of the names of the women with nude photos were attached, which we identified, but they deleted the publication due to the investigations started," a devastated family member said. Authorities in Monclova are now investigating her death as a cybercrime. It's unclear how the images were acquired by "Packs de Monclova". Although the site has been reported to authorities, it remains active. The General State Prosecutor said that they identified one of those responsible for selling the photos of naked women through social media. The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been reported SEE MORE: http://starnation.com.ng/19-year-old-girl-kills-herself-after-her-nude-pictures-were-sold-on-social-media/

The Spanish stopper apologised to fans for his actions which left Blues boss Maurizio Sarri furious at Wembley. And the 24-year-old keeper was fined £190,000 by the club, which was donated to the Chelsea Foundation. Kepa said in a statement on Chelsea's official website: "Although there was a misunderstanding, on reflection, I made a big mistake with how I handled the situation. "I wanted to take the time today to apologise fully and in person to the coach, to Willy, my team-mates and to the club. "I have done this and now I want to offer the same apology to the fans. form "I will learn from this episode and will accept any punishment or discipline the club decides is appropriate." Blues manager Sarri insisted the matter has been put to bed and Chelsea are focused on their clash with Spurs on Wednesday. Sarri said: "‘Kepa and I have spoken about the incident. It was a good conversation. "There was a misunderstanding yesterday but he realises he made a big mistake in the way he reacted. "He has apologised to me, his team-mates and the club. "It is up to the club if they want to discipline him according to the club rules, but for me this matter is now closed. "Everyone’s focus is now on the next game and we must all now put this behind us." SunSport revealed that Sarri laid into Kepa in the dressing room after Sunday's loss to Manchester City at Wembley. Both manager and goalkeeper were at Cobham on Monday as Chelsea returned to work in preparation for their Tottenham showdown. The Spanish international appeared to refuse to be replaced by Willy Caballero deep into injury time of Sunday’s Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City after having gone down for a second time with cramp. Sarri was visibly enraged by the situation and almost stormed down the Wembley tunnel in frustration after telling Willy Caballero to re-take his seat on the bench. The world’s most expensive goalkeeper remained between the posts during the subsequent shoot-out defeat – diving over Sergio Aguero’s penalty before saving Leroy Sane’s effort – but the bizarre situation had already clouded over what had been a resolute display from the Blues. After the game, Maurizio Sarri was asked about the incident and stated that it was simply a misunderstanding between player and manager. Speaking to Sky Sports, the Italian played down the situation: “It was a misunderstanding, I heard there was a problem and we needed to change it. I realised the situation only when the doctor arrived on the bench after some minutes. It was a misunderstanding, I understood the goalkeeper had cramp and would be unable to go to the penalties. Now, Kepa himself has given a version of events in line with that of his manager. In an Instagram post, the Chelsea No.1 also emphasised that it was simply a misunderstanding about his injury. The full statement read as follows: “Upset and sad for not being able to take the title, we fought until the end against a great team. We will continue working to be stronger. “I would also like to clarify some facts of today’s match: “First of all, I regret how the end of the match has been portrayed. At no time has it been my intention to disobey the coach or any of his decisions. “I think everything has been misunderstood in the heat of the final part of a match for a title. The coach thought I was not in a position to play on and my intention was to express that I was in good condition to continue helping the team, while the docs that had treated me arrived at the bench to give the message. “I feel the image that has been portrayed was not my intention. I have full respect for the coach and his authority.” SEE MORE: http://starnation.com.ng/chelsea-goalkeeper-kepa-releases-statement-to-clear-up-bizarre-sub-situation/

Sickening footage shows the mouse strapped to a bottle as it is beaten with a stick until it urinates after it chewed up a phone charger. The man from Mandya in southern India can be heard cursing the little mouse as he wacks it on the nose, head and belly. The rodent was strung up by its limbs to a plastic water bottle to expose it to the foul punishment. He shows the severed chord of his charger to the mouse and says: 'Why did you bite this causing me a loss of eighty rupees (one pound). Will your father or mother pay me for the loss now?' As he continues to beat the mouse, he accuses it of eating rice, tomatoes and soap at his home. In a particularly disturbing segment of the video, the mouse urinates in terror only to get more beatings. 'Why are you p***ing, will you do it again?' he asks. Indian animal rights activists are outraged after the video emerged earlier this month and have urged officials to trace the man and arrest him for cruelty towards animals. Noted animal rights activist Subhendu Mallik said: 'While killing a mouse is not illegal, this kind of torture is unwarranted. 'This is a crime under Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1960 and officials should act.' An American man has spoken candidly about the "weird as f***" thing he caught his girlfriend doing after they had sex, which he says has left him feeling "nervous". The boyfriend revealed all in a shocking post on Reddit, where he asked for some advice about the bizarre incident. The unnamed man in his late 20s, claims he nipped to the bathroom right after having sex with his girlfriend and it was at this moment that things started to take an unusual turn. In his post he says the woman "screamed" at him to find out what he was doing in the bathroom. He thought this was odd, but made a joke of it before returning to the bedroom. He explained: "My girlfriend and I are both late 20s. About an hour ago we had sex. She is not on the pill so we use condoms. "I had just finished and I went to the bathroom after that. She screamed at me to the bathroom 'peeing or pooping?' Which I thought was weird as f***. "Jokingly I said 'pooping' but really I was just peeing. "I came back into the bedroom and found her pouring the contents of my used condom inside her vagina. I'm nervous as f***." However upon his return things went from bad to worse, as he caught his girlfriend "stealing sperm" from the used condom. The man then went on to ask whether this was legal, what happens if she gets pregnant as he did not consent to her doing this and he also wanted to know whether he owns his sperm. He then admitted that he had tried to take the condom away from her, but she began shrieking so he had to back off. People on the site were appalled by the woman's actions and warned him to stay away from her in future. One commented: "Cut her out of your life immediately. Do not contact her in anyway. If she claims to be pregnant demand a paternity test." Another wrote: "It's not against the law, you had consensual sex with her." A third replied: "Apart from all the other good advice about getting her out of your life, call Planned Parenthood and ask them about the likelihood of her getting pregnant via this method." Maurizio Sarri admitted his job as Chelsea manager could be in threat in his post-match interview following the Blues' shocking 6-0 defeat by Manchester City on Sunday. The Stamford Bridge club were off-colour from the first whistle at the Etihad, as Sergio Aguero and co. ran riot in both halves of the contest. Here's everything Chelsea boss Sarri said on Sky Sports: Question: Maurizio, horrible day for you, how do you explain it? Sarri: At the moment I am not able to explain. During the week my feeling was really, really good in training. So at the moment maybe we conceded a goal in three minutes against these opponents and it was really, really difficult to play. And it was really, very difficult not to give them spaces and so we were in trouble, but I am not able at the moment to understand because as I said before during the week my feeling was really good. Q: I understand what you say, difficult time for you to go into it, but do you think individual errors was the thing that cost you, or the approach on reflection wrong? Sarri: I think we made a lot of mistakes against the wrong opponents, they play really fantastic football and we made a lot of mistakes. Q: Are you able to tell us what the plan was today, and did you change anything at all because it's Manchester City or did you say 'this is how we play, we keep doing it'? Sarri: No, we wanted to press them from the beginning of the action but then the plan was completely over because we conceded a goal in three minutes so it was really, very difficult. Q: At the moment, the way you want your players to play and press. Are they able to do it the way you want them to do it? Sarri: No, not always, I think today the big difference between the two teams was the intensity of pressing. They press really, really well with really high intensity and we were not able to do it. Q: After Arsenal and Bournemouth you talked about mentality, motivation. Did you see that as a problem today? Sarri: I don't think the motivation - as I said before my feeling was really, very good in the week. It was really, very good yesterday and during the warm-up. I think we were not able to react in the right way. We had only to stay in the match. It can happen. We were not able to stay in the match. Q: Why do you think it keeps happening to you away from home? This is Arsenal, Bournemouth and now this all in a row? Sarri: I think at the moment we have a big problem away. Q: What's causing that do you think? Sarri: I don't know because at the beginning of the season we played better away than at home. Now in the last month everything has changed so we need to understand it's not easy. But we need to understand because we need to play in every situation, after a positive situation, after a negative situation we need to play to stay in the match. Q: This is Chelsea's worst ever Premier League defeat on the back of Arsenal and Bournemouth. Do you worry that a result like that, at a club like Chelsea, will bring pressure and scrutiny? Sarri: I think that is right. I am in charge of the team so it is right. Q: So what happens next, will you have discussions over your future? Sarri: I don't know. Not at the moment but I think it will happen, it's normal and something we need to do. Q: I just have to clarify this. You think in the next week you'll be sitting down with the people at Chelsea to discuss if you're still manager? Sarri: I don't know, you'll have to ask the club. I have no idea about this at the moment. SEE MORE: http://starnation.com.ng/maurizio-sarri-reacts-to-chelseas-shocking-defeat-by-man-city/

WIFE of the President Mrs. Aisha Buhari yesterday denied issuing any statement condemning the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen. According to a statement by her Director of Information Suleiman Haruna, the alleged statement credited to Mrs. Buhari where she was said to have condemned the suspension of Justice Onnoghen was fake and untrue. The statement reads: “The attention of the wife of the President has been drawn to a post on social media to the effect that she condemned the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria. “It is important to inform Nigerians that wife of the President has not made any public statements on the matter and therefore the commentary is untrue and fake. “This is highly condemnable and we therefore advise the purveyors of such news to recant and desist henceforth.” There has been a report on social media with the title: “Breaking bombshell”, alleging that the President’s wife has condemned the husband’s action for suspending the CJN. The report which had been feasted on by the social media quoted Mrs. Buhari as saying: “I totally condemn the illegal suspension of Chief Justice of Nigeria Justice Walter Onnoghen. Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has said parents of pupils found hawking during school hours in the state will be arrested. Fayemi, who noted that the arrest was part of measures to check declining enrolment, said, “The current school enrolment rate of 55 per cent as against 96 per cent recorded in 2014 is unacceptable to this government. Something must be done urgently to reverse the ugly trend.” The governor, who spoke in Ado Ekiti during an education stakeholders’ meeting, lamented that many parents had yet to take full advantage of the free and qualitative education policy of his administration. Fayemi had shortly after his inauguration in October last year declared free education from primary school to senior secondary school and abolished all education levies and the education tax introduced by the immediate past administration in the state. He said, “Part of the responsibilities of government is to ensure that children and youths, who are the future of the nation, are properly groomed through qualitative education that will prepare them for the future. “The state will soon begin recruitment of competent and qualified teachers who will help to raise the standard of education in the state. Government has started compiling the records of retired teachers, with a view to determining available vacancies in the teaching service.” The governor also disclosed that the administration had begun the process of returning mission schools to their original owners, but said government would continue to monitor them to ensure the schools did not decline in standard. Representative of National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools, Ekiti State chapter, Mr Babatunde Abegunde, who said abrogation of education levies by the Fayemi administration had taken burden of debts of school fees from parents, urged government to look into issues of multiple taxation in the education sector, which he said, “has hindered many school owners from undertaking infrastructure development in their schools.” Parent-Teacher-Association, Ekiti State Chairman, Chief Adeola Osadare, lauded Fayemi for paying the 2019 WAEC fees for about 14,000 students in public schools across the state. Osadare said, “The gesture will help many students who have dropped out of school to re-enroll, as there is hope of free school certificate examination registration under Fayemi’s watch.” SEE MORE: http://starnation.com.ng/ekiti-to-arrest-parents-children-hawking-during-school-hours/ cc:lalasticlala cc:Seun

In news that’s bound to make some women jealous, a woman in China has been diagnosed with a rare ear condition that prevents her from hearing male voices. The woman, known only by her surname, Chen, woke up one morning to find that she was unable to hear her boyfriend’s voice. She also experienced ringing in her ears, as well as vomiting, according to a Newsweek report. After attending hospital, Chen discovered that bizarrely, she could hear female voices, leading doctors to diagnose her with a rare ear condition, known as ‘reverse-slope hearing loss.’ The condition affects the ability to hear low-pitched sounds, and can be caused by blood vessel problems, trauma or autoimmune disorders. In Chen's case, doctors believe that stress from working late and losing sleep caused her low-frequency hearing decline. However, while we might joke about the benefits of blocking out male voices, reverse-slope hearing loss is a serious condition, and can even lead to permanent hearing loss. Thankfully, if the condition is detected early enough it can be reversed. Speaking to Live Science, Dr Michelle Kraskin, an audiologist who wasn’t involved in this case, said: “Most studies have shown that if you catch it within 48 hours, you have the best chance for recovery.” SEE MORE: http://starnation.com.ng/woman-diagnosed-with-rare-condition-that-prevents-her-from-hearing-male-voices/

Authorities at the headquarters of Operation Lafiya Dole, a military counterinsurgency outfit in North-east Nigeria, Thursday, threatened to treat civilians who hide useful information about Boko Haram as terrorists. According to a statement signed by the spokesman of counterinsurgency operation, Onyema Nwachukwu, the military “would not be kind” to those who were aware of clandestine movements of Boko Haram into communities around Maiduguri and fail to report such to the relevant security authorities. Mr Nwachukwu, an army colonel, said the military has credible information that Boko Haram are moving into communities to “indoctrinate, recruit fresh members and asking others to vacate their homes”. “There is credible information and evidence that in a bid to further intensify their psychological war and instil fear on the citizens, some elements of Boko Haram terrorists have infiltrated some villages in the fringes of Maiduguri city,” said Mr Nwachukwu, a deputy director, army public relations. “They (Boko Haram) have clandestinely been going about threatening innocent residents, warning them to vacate their homes. “So far, out of fear, several inhabitants have moved out of their ancestral homes. Consequently, we wish to inform all well meaning citizens, especially within Maiduguri metropolis and its environs to promptly report the presence of suspicious persons or avail the security agencies of information about such persons. “Failure to report will be viewed seriously as it is tantamount to collaboration with the Boko Haram terrorists. Such compromising persons when found will be treated like the terrorists. “Members of the public are enjoined to please cooperate and support ongoing operations to weed out the infiltrating terrorists and their sympathisers.” Yesterday, the military had, in the wake of fresh attacks in communities around Maiduguri, shut down the Maiduguri-Kano highway from Maiduguri up to Potiskum for about seven hours, as troops led by special forces conducted a search in communities along the 235km road where Boko Haram had been carrying out attacks. A woman has been slammed on social media, after footage of her dropping her trousers and urinating all all over the floor in a shop has been released. The customer was out shopping at Foodworks in Collinsville, Queensland, Australia, when it seems she couldn't hold it in any longer. The footage shared on Facebook by Foodworks shows her baring her bottom and relieving herself in the middle of the floor. Foodworks called out the customer in the now-deleted post for her behaviour, writing: "if you need a toilet just ask". "Don't pee on the floor of Foodworks please," they added. Social media users were quick to criticise the woman for her actions. "You just wonder at what point did she think that is OK," one person wrote. another said. "I can't believe this! What an absolute grub,” One commented: “Disgusting. Two male cheetahs were filmed mating with the same female in a rare sighting on a wildlife reserve. A group of tourists were able to capture the rare sighting in the Kalahari Desert with four giraffes also nearby. Not only is the sexual behaviour itself rare but cheetahs are considered quite shy when mating. The footage, taken at Tswalu reserve in South Africa, captured the moment both male cheetahs pinned the female to the ground. The female tries to get free but one male sinks his teeth into the back of her neck to hold her in place. Both males then jostled to get on top before the female fought them off. Juan Venter, who captured the rare scene on video, at first thought they were fighting but soon realised that both males were trying to mate at the same time. The 26-year-old told Mail Online: "I just told my guests to keep on filming because they will never see this again. "The cats ended up crawling into a bush hiding, as cheetah are incredibly shy when mating and we didn't want to bother them as, you need to respect nature. "I have friends in the industry that have been guiding for more than 15 years and they have never seen this happen." He said that he does not think he will ever see it in the wild again. The Tswalu Kalahari Reserve is a privately owned game reserve in the Northern Cape of South Africa. It is South Africa’s largest private game reserve, covering an area of over 114,000 hectares.
