Am caught up in between thoughts if i should venture into a particular business or not? it all happened recently when I ordered for some products on Amazon and as we all know, most American company don't ship directly to Nigeria. So I needed a third party who could help me receive the packages using his American Address and re-forward it it to me Here in Nigeria. Even Most courier company(Fedex, Ups,DHL,USPS) does not render the service of "third Party". That is releasing their address for you to send those products Directly from a Merchant site or shopping site to theirs so they inturn send it to you. But they prefer you find someone who stays in the U.S to help you receive the product first so the person inturns brings it to any of their courier (Ups,fedex,usps) office so they will now forward it to u...

Its was a serious hard knot to crack until i now found a company that their major core service area was freight re-forwarding. that is providing people who doesnt stay in the U.S with a Virtual Address with a unique Appartment number so as to identify each customers with it. For example, the same company will give person A address number "102 pound road #Apt 12, and Person B would be "102 pound road #Apt 13" hope you get my drift. Same address but different unique #Apt to differentiate between clients. So i found 2 companies rendering this service

1.Graphcard.Com.
2.www.Myus.com


The First one, Graphcard.com: This guys are good, relatively cheap but your product could take up to 4months before its arrival in lagos. #no go area for me.

The Second one, MYUS.Com: its quite fast in "5 days" you will get your orders but is quite expensive. You will pay a monthly fee for using their Address and also pay high fee to ship in your product depending of the weight of the products put together..

At this time I didn't know what to do. The total weight of my packages was like 8 kilos (16 pounds) and if I was to use any of the options 1 and 2 above, I will have to wait up to 4months which I wasnt ready to or pay Myus.com about $160 (N25,600). Of which the total Amount of the product I bought was lesser.

So I quickly remembered one of my friend (a senior in sec school) that was in 400level medicine but won American visa lottery then left naija immediately in the middle of his 7years Course and now stays in TEXAS United state. So I called him and he willingly agreed to help me received the product using his address and sending It to me via a courier company.

So I was now doing a search on the 4 courier service company I knw (fedex, Dhl, Ups, Usps) and comparing their cost to se which one I would rather ask him to send through. But he recommended a company PWC shipping(not the real name) which is very very cheap, reliable and Fast delivery(within 5 days ur packages is here in Lagos).
and they have office in Texas and Lagos.

I decided he send it through them(PwC). Lo and behold in five days my packages arrived! And guess how much I paid $40(N6,400) saving about N21,000 which I would have paid had I used MyUs.com..and this PWC company they aren't popular, they don't advertise themselves like other companies and they are very reliable. They offer many range of services from door to door delivery, to car pre-orders and container shipment... #veryWonderfulCompany

So why am I writing all this? Am writing this because I want to start out something in that line.

Let's analyze this..

Its cheaper buying thing online and u can trust the quality but the only problem there is that shipping it to ur countr is whr its not just cost effective. For instance, a blackberry Bold 2 on amazon is $80 dollars(new one =N12,800) but if u are to ship this product to nigeria using fedex and the regular courier services like USPS, DHL and the like it will cost u like $70 [N11,000]. So the Total cost would be 12,800 + 11,000=23,800
. Of which I can get it for the same price at Affordables here in lagos. So what's the need buying it online.

But with this PWC shipping company I used they will ship the blackberry for u for just N2,560 where others will ship it for like 11k. See the difference in cost savings. So if I buy same BB
frm amazon for $80
(12,800) + shipping cost with PWC (N2,560) so the total cost of buying and shipping is about 12800+2560= 15,360......

Now most people buy things from the US to Nigeria without minding the cost but the quality of the products they are buying so they don't mind using fedex and MYus.com to ship it down and paying such high fee in shipping......

So now I wanna setup mine, and see how I could partner with PWC, using them as a third party tool for the new business and get a website get an office then probably call few friends for financial partnering so we just start this out. With massive advertisment, Nairaland ads, google ads, radio publicity and the like..........

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. C long letter.

Anyway. Gonna meet some few friends so we could seat and do a good feasibility study on our advantages and disadvantage of making a success. Just to be sure our percentage of success is more than the failure..

Reminds me of a day like that, me alone on my normal shorts and roundneck black singlet Jacking in ma room all alone and I have a Professional exam few days from that time. then all of a sudden this babe called she was around ma estate. who immediately shouted on us to all come out of

was left to guard us while one was outside and

whispering; junior close ur eyes o, or ill report u.
B4 u knew she just got up and went to tug the

We could say this period is a *waiting period* and this waiting period can be renamed to be a *Gap or better put a *Vacuum. And u know what, Nature abhors Vacuum...Nature give no room for Vacuum. So its Imperative for them to pass time with Tension till the real List is out. That more reason why d aspirants impetuously ask those questions as u have highlighted... So pls sweerie let them.
