The nuclear weapons were never theirs in the first place, they were Soviet weapons stationed on Ukranian soil. So they really have not much say in giving it up after the collapse of the Soviet union.

Putin will annex Ukraine and nothing will happen, I mean Biden and the rest of them will only bark but cannot bite with their meaningless sanctions. He already said Ukraine is not a legimate sovereign country but is historically part of Russia, the time for games is over and the red line is drawn in the sand. Ukraine will never be part of NATO never.
