From

Chief Femi Fani Kayode

I will say this just once after which I will never mention or discuss him in this forum again. Baba Gana Kingibe is one if the most dangerous, evil, treacherous and demonic souls that I have ever known and the very thougt that he wants to be President sickens and offends me.

Though he is a Kanuri he is one of the greatest defenders of northern hegemony that has ever lived and he has a deep hatred for the south even though he pretends to love the Yorubas particularly. He was made by the Fulani and he always serves their interests and purpose even though he has also betrayed every Fulani leader that has ever helped him.

Apart from betraying his mentor and the man that gave him his first job and brought him into politics, Maj Gen Shehu Musa Yar'Adua, and leading him to his death, he also betrayed OBJ, who gave him his first break in life, MKO Abiola, who made him his running mate and Umaru Yar'adua who made him his SGF.

He also betrayed Abacha, who made him his Minister of Internal and later Foreign Affairs, and he played a role in the death of Abacha's son Ibrahim and others. Presently he is one of Buhari's most trusted allies and hardliners and he operates covertly guiding matters secretly and from behind.

He is their "expert advisor" on the south. Though he is not Fulani he is far more powerful than people like Ismaila Isa Funtua in the cabal and second only to Mamman Daura. Most imp of all is that he is not just an ignorant northerner but a British public school trained man who went to Sussex University after finishing at Bishop Storfords College.

I have known him for 48 years because during the days of the civil war when he was a student at Sussex University with men like the late Ibrahim Tahir he used to spend a lot of time in my fathers house in Brighton, England. I have known him well since and at one point he, myself, his ex-wife Ireti and my ex-wife Yemisi were very close. What he tried to do to me and all of OBJ's loyalists and OBJ himself when Yar'adua was in power was callous and unimaginable. He went as far as to accuse us of plotting a coup and some of us were investigated and questioned.

All because he hated OBJ and because Jimi Lawal, El Rufai's best friend, was having an affair with his wife Ireti. He is sophisticated, urbane, enlightened, suave, polite and as ruthless, deadly and murderous as a rattle snake. Worst of all is that he was trained by M16 who he still works for till today. His role and influence in the Nigerian intelligence agencies is legendary and still subsists till today.

His hands are filled with blood and he has no conscience or remorse about anything he has ever done in the past. It amazes me that a man that is so much under the shadows and that is a well known spook and spy should be considered by anyone at this stage of our history to run for the Presidency. It tells u that most adult Nigerians are still living in the dark and have NO knowledge of who did what in their own history.

I urge everyone here to do their research. A man like Kingibe is utterly deadly and unaccetable. Give him or anyone like him power and not only will we back to square one but no southerner will EVER smell power again. Finally let me add this.

There is nothing that I have said here that I have not told him to his face. I did so in Nasr El Rufai's house in 2011 just after he was kicked out of Yar'Adua's govt, after Nasir lost his daughter and came back from exile. If I ever see him again I will say even worse.

Religion / The Many Ways Churches Are Tackling Poverty In Nigeria by planetzoom: 4:20pm On Feb 01, 2018
The churches in Nigeria is nothing but a thankless institution that had been delivering (and still continues to, mind you) the common man from physical and spiritual ailments.
Many unsung heroes have gone into the grave with regrets and bitterness over neglect and lack of commendation for their sacrifices and efforts towards nation building.
Ranked among the unsung heroes in Nigeria is the Church. Nigeria Churches have always been in the news but for the negative reasons.
Church news only has a major spot in the headlines of national dailies, T.V, Radio, and social media platforms once it’s a news that has to do with scandal, misappropriation of funds, embezzlement of funds, breakaway, leadership tussle, among others.
At times, media houses can devote more than one year to follow-up a scandal story about a particular Pastor which paints the Church in a bad light making us feel that there’s nothing good about the Church.
Is this the whole truth about the Church? The answer is No!
Churches are doing laudable projects that are impacting the society positively which the media houses are not talking about.
Here, comprised by Oba Samuel of dailyfamily.ng, are amazing but quiet things Nigeria Churches are doing to alleviate poverty:
1. Deeper Life Bible Church – Pastor W. F. Kumuyi
This Church has been touching the lives of the people positively through these means:
1. For many years, Deeper Life Bible Church (DLBC) has been feeding the poor for free especially during her Retreats – Bad for news.
2. Deeper Life builds a #3 Billion Naira Church facility to cater for her teeming multitudes- (The Church comes under attack for not giving the money to the poor by people who probably have never cared for others) Good for news!
3. Deeper Life spends #1.2 Billion on an overhead bridge to stem traffic (who cares)-Bad for news. The Church of Christ will never be able to please the Gates of Hell. It’s time to shake off the distraction
READ Adeboye visits Buhari in London
2. The Redeemed Christian Church Of God – Pastor E. A. Adeboye
This world’s fastest growing Church has been heavily criticized for:
-Establishing too many Churches
-Pastor Adeboye flies to Zambia, Botswana, CAR, Rwanda in private jet- (News goes viral)
All these criticisms go viral with no media house beaming searchlight on their great but silent works that are affecting the populace positively. Some of which are:
-.Redeemed Christian Church of God develops a forest into a sprawling city (Redemption Camp) at no cost to the government helping to decongest Lagos
– Pastor Adeboye and wife built rehabilitation centre in Epe for youths overtaken by drug addiction
– RCCG builds 80km road connecting Ikorodu with Redemption Camp/Lagos-Ibadan Expressway
Are you not disturbed that none of these laudable projects made the headline in our dailies let alone doing a follow-up story.
3. Christ Embassy- Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
Pastor Chris has been in the news for negative news like:
-Pastor Chris divorced his wife.
-Pastor Chris fakes testimonies in his Church.
All these and many others go viral but nobody is reporting their kind gestures such as:
– Christ Embassy inspires and sponsors hundreds of youths talented in the music ministry
-Christ Embassy provides succour for tens of thousands in Haiti
-Christ Embassy feeds thousands of children daily in her Inner City Mission Scheme
-Gospel sensations like Sinach, Eben, Frank Edwards, Buchi, Samsung, Joe Praize are all inspired by Pastor Chris.
4. Daystar Christian Centre – Pastor Sam Adeyemi
Pastor Sam Adeyemi has his fair share of media criticism as he has been dubbed as a prosperity preacher but nobody reports his community services like the adoption of a School in Oregun which he equipped with computers and maintains on a yearly basis.
READ 2018: God said Buhari should not recontest, says Rev. Gabriel
– Daystar equips 20,000 kids as they return to school
5. World Of Life – Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor
Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor Gave His Wife A Valentine Treat
This former CAN chairman’s story went viral for receiving a jet gift for his birthday. Many condemned it and asked him to sell it and give the money to the poor.
But when Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor gives cars, money, Keke, sewing machines, grinding machines to the poor, all these do not merit the headlines.
6. MFM – Dr. D. K. Olukoya
Dr Daniel Olukoya
Dr. D. K. Olukoya has been on the forefront of youth developments as he invests heavily in football
MFM provides cars and cash for 1st class graduates in Unilag yearly. All these are not good enough for the news.
7. Winners Chapel – Bishop David Oyedepo
This man of God has been criticized heavily for negative news like:
– Living Faith Church under investigation in the UK – News goes viral.
-Bishop Oyedepo owned 4 private jets
-Faith Oyedepo ‘paralysed’- News goes viral.
-Oyedepo jets out to Sierra Leone, Liberia and the news goes viral
None of his community services which have brought smiles to the faces of many was newsworthy.
Some of these community services are:
– Winners Chapel gives provisions, food, cash to Osun workers after being owed 8 months salary by State Government
-The Bishop has paid monthly salaries for 20 of the school teachers since 2011. He also renovated the school and 3 others in his hometown.
– Winner’s Chapel, in FACT, does NOT own 4 jets
– Bishop Oyedepo subsidises transport fare in hometown to #20-#50 per trip.
-Red Cross commends Oyedepo for the largest consignment of welfare aid asides government since Nigerian Civil.
READ Nigerians should be patient with President Buhari, pastor says
-Winners Chapel ‘s gift consignment largest ever received by Rwandan Government
-Winners Chapel Accesses Koma Hills with provisions – plants school, church
– Landmark University operates the largest scholarship scheme among Nigerian private universities
-Living Faith Church commended for financial integrity by the UK authorities after the probe, named as a good example for other NGOs.
-. Oyedepo builds #100 million Townhall in Omu Aran
– Covenant University generates her own electricity
– David Oyedepo Foundation now gives about N500 million annually in her 24-year-old scholarship scheme to indigent students.
– Covenant University in less than 20 years ranks amongst the top universities in Africa ahead of many much older Nigerian Universities.
-Faith Oyedepo totally healed
– Sierra Leonean President thanked Winners Chapel for the relief package given to citizens.
OTHER GIANT STRIDES OF NIGERIAN CHURCHES:
– Nigerian Churches attract the largest number of tourists to Nigeria
– Nigerian Churches infrastructural development among highest in Nigeria
– Nigerian Churches now the foremost player in education at all levels in Nigeria
– Churches establish universities ensuring that many otherwise jobless academics are gainfully employed
– Prisoners testify of how Church missionaries led them to Christ, became better citizens
– Covenant, JABU, BIU and Landmark Universities are among the 10 cheapest private universities
The media has battered the church image over the years without paying attention to the selfless services of the Nigerian Churches.
It’s high time we gave kudos to church as the victor and stop demeaning her on the pages of newspaper and social platforms.
Well done Church, Well done Nigerian Pastors!

Education / 5 Qualities Of A Successful Law Student. by planetzoom: 6:16pm On Jan 30, 2018
Students from all sorts of backgrounds with all sorts of different skills can excel in law school and go on to be brilliant lawyers. But despite the variety of experiences and the array of abilities students bring to law school, many of the best law students share a similar set of qualities. If you’re a future or
current law student, you should consider if these qualities describe you. If you recognized these traits in yourself, great! You should foster them throughout law school and your legal career. If you don’t recognize these qualities in yourself, don’t worry! You can definitely acquire these traits with a little hard work.

SUCCESSFUL LAW STUDENTS ENJOY THE CHALLENGE OF LEARNING NEW THINGS.
Learning anything new can be difficult and demanding. In law school, where you have to learn masses of black letter law through case briefing, the Socratic method, and very little feedback, learning can be downright frustrating at times. But law school is meant to be challenging. It’s meant to push you out of your comfort zone and get you to think about issues in new ways. Rather than getting discouraged or frustrated, the best law students will embrace the law school atmosphere and even enjoy the challenge of learning the law and mastering new skills. Lawyers are constantly having to learn about new topics and developments to meet their clients’ needs, so an ability to take on, or even enjoy, the challenge of learning new things is essential to success
.
SUCCESSFUL LAW STUDENTS ARE DEDICATED.
Dedication means more than just being passionate about what you’re doing. Dedication also means that you’re fully committed and willing to do everything that needs to be done. There will certainly be times in law school, and in your legal career, where you will be involved in things that are exciting, fulfilling, or interesting. But to get to those exciting, fulfilling, interesting moments, you often have to do work that can be tedious, annoying, or boring. Great law students are willing to do things they don’t always enjoy because they are dedicated to their studies and they know that completing the boring work (diligently) is often a prerequisite to later success.

SUCCESSFUL LAW STUDENTS HAVE THE ABILITY TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE.

It’s no secret that law faculties, and particularly the final exam period , can be intense. You’re generally taking multiple exams, in a two or three week period, that require you to memorize, process, and analyze an immense amount of information under very tight time constraints. Add in the fact that most law schools grade on a curve, and you’re destined to feel stressed! The best law students feel just as anxious about final exams as anyone out there, but they don’t let the pressure hinder their ability to prepare or distract them during the actual exam. Finding some healthy ways to cope with stress and being able to perform well under pressure will serve you well in law school and in your future legal career.

SUCCESSFUL LAW STUDENTS PERSEVERE.
At one point or another, every law student is going to experience disappointment. It may be a bad grade, a rejected job application, or a period of struggle with the material. But great law students won’t let any perceived failures stop them from trying again. Instead, they acknowledge that things didn’t go well, identify the cause of the failure, and find ways to correct the problem or at least work around it. Much like being a practicing attorney, law school will have its ups and downs, but you have to push through the difficult moments by focusing on your long-term goals rather than any short term struggles. Self-belief and the ability to persevere are underrated values, but they are often essential to long-term success.

SUCCESSFUL LAW STUDENTS ARE CREATIVE.
In a profession whose main function is basically to read staid legal cases and draft formal briefs, you may not expect creativity to be valued. But creativity and ingenuity can be a real asset to a law student trying to stand out in a
competitive job market (not to mention a new lawyer trying to make her mark). Adherence to precedent may be required in certain circumstances, but great law students are also curious enough to explore novel legal arguments and brave enough to try creative solutions to difficult problems. Embrace your creativity and ingenuity, because they will serve you well in responding to your future clients’ needs.
As a law student, you should embrace your own unique strengths and experiences, but you should also try to acquire or foster some of these qualities throughout your legal education. Possessing these qualities won’t just help you be a great law student, they will also help you be a great lawyer.

Politics / Flashback:the Coup Speech That Overthrew Buhari In 1985. by planetzoom: 10:05am On Jan 30, 2018
I, Brigadier Joshua Nimyel Dogonyaro, of the Nigerian Army, hereby make the following declaration on behalf of my colleagues and members of the Nigerian Armed Forces. Fellow country men, the intervention of the military at the end of 1983 was welcomed by the nation with unprecedented enthusiasm. Nigerians were unified in accepting the intervention and looked forward hopefully to progressive changes for the better. Almost two years later, it has become clear that the fulfillment of expectations is not forthcoming.
Because this generation of Nigerians and indeed future generations have no other country but Nigeria, we could not stay passive and watch a small group of individuals misuse power to the detriment of our national aspirations and interest. No nation can ever achieve meaningful strides in its development where there is an absence of cohesion in the hierarchy of government; where it has become clear that positive action by the policy makers is hindered because a body lacks unity of purpose. It is evident that the nation would be endangered with the risk of continuous misdirection.

We are presently confronted with that danger. In such a situation, if action can be taken to arrest further damage, it should and must be taken. This is precisely what we have done. The Nigerian public has been made to believe that the slow pace of action of the Federal Government headed by Major-General Muhamadu Buhari was due to the enormity of the problems left by the last civilian administration. Although it is true that a lot of problems were left behind by the last civilian government, the real reason, however, for the very slow pace of action is due to lack of unanimity of purpose among the ruling body; subsequently, the business of governance, has gradually been subjected to ill-motivated power play considerations.

The ruling body, the Supreme Military Council, has, therefore, progressively been made redundant by the actions of a select few members charged with the day to day implementation of the SMC's policies and decision. The concept of collective leadership has been substituted by stubborn and ill-advised unilateral actions, thereby destroying the principles upon which the government came to power. Any effort made to advise the leadership, was met with stubborn resistance and was viewed as a challenge to authority or disloyalty. Thus the theme was set for systematic elimination of what was termed oppositions

All the energies of the rulership was directed at this imaginary opposition rather than to effective leadership. The result of this misdirected effort is now very evident in the country as a whole. The government has started to drift. The economy does not seem to be getting any better as we witness daily increased inflation. The nation's meager resources are once again being wasted on unproductive ventures. Government has distanced itself from the people and the yearnings and aspirations of the people as constantly reflected in the media have been ignored. This is because a few people have arrogated to themselves the right to make the decisions for the larger part of the ruling body.
All these events have shown that the present composition of our country's leadership cannot, therefore, justify its continued occupation of that position.

Furthermore, the initial objectives and programmes of action which were meant to have been implemented since the ascension to power of the Buhari Administration in January 1984 have been betrayed and discarded. The present state of uncertainty and stagnation cannot be permitted to degenerate into suppression and retrogression. We feel duty bound to use the resources and means at our disposal to restore hope in the minds of Nigerians and renew aspirations for a better
Nigeria.

We are no prophets of doom for our beloved country, Nigeria. We, therefore, count on everyone's cooperation and assistance. I appeal to you, fellow countrymen, particularly my colleagues in arms to refrain from any act that will lead to unnecessary violence and blood shed among us. Rest assured that our action is in the interest of the nation and the armed forces. In order to enable a new order to be introduced, the following bodies are dissolved forthwith pending further announcements: (a) The Supreme Military Council (b) The Federal Executive Council (c) The National Council of States.
All seaports and airports are closed, all borders remain closed. Finally a dusk to dawn curfew is hereby imposed in Lagos and all state capitals until further notice. All military commanders will ensure effective maintenance of law and order. Further announcements will be made in due course. God bless Nigeria.

Politics / See This Mild Drama Between Hameed Ali And Dino Melaye by planetzoom: 9:02am On Jan 30, 2018
Drama between Col. Hammed Ali, CG, Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and Senator Dino Melaye, Chairman, Senate Ad Hoc Committee on Waste in the Nigeria Customs Service at the Customs Headquarters, Abuja over protocol-related matters:

*Dino Melaye: “Before reading the prepared speech of the committee, let me make this small remark on what we have just observed here in form of breach of protocols. Mr CG, rather than meeting us here at the conference room by way of courtesy, you supposed to have met us at the ground floor on arrival into the premises."

*Col. Ahmed Ali: “We have our own protocol as regards receiving visitors like you. I don’t need to come downstairs to receive you just as nobody in the Senate or House of Representatives has ever come out to receive us anytime we visit the National Assembly. Let me state clearly that in the Nigeria Customs Service we are servants of the people. We believe in Nigeria and working with others to make it great without being railroaded in anyway.”

Politics / This Is Not The Govt We Hoped For-tunde Bakare by planetzoom: 8:02am On Jan 30, 2018
‘This Is Not The Govt We Hoped For’ — Tunde Bakare Hits Buhari Again.

Tunde Bakare, senior pastor of the Latter Rain Assembly, says he hopes he is not forced to do a follow-up video of a side of President Muhammadu Buhari that “he does not know”.

In the build-up to the 2015 election, Bakare, who was Buhari’s running mate in 2011, did a video , ‘The Buhari I know’.

He had described the president as “a great personality, unique and quintessential”.

But speaking on Sunday Politics, a programme on Channels Television, Bakare said given the turn out of things, he might have to do another video, focusing on the version of his former running mate that is unknown to him.

Bakare said the Buhari administration had performed “woefully”.

“No matter how you look at it, this is not the government we all hoped for.

This is not what we thought this government that promised change in the beginning would perform so woefully. Any right thinking Nigerian would agree with that,” Bakare said.

“You can blame the past administration but you knew what you were going into even if you didn’t know all of it. They could have done better than what they have done.

They themselves know that.

“I once did a video; ‘the Buhari I know’. And I meant every word. I sincerely did that video. I hope I will not be pushed to do a video, ‘the Buhari I didn’t know’.

“So many things had happened that I couldn’t even figure out. You must know that I must have been pushed to the wall before I spoke.

“They have forgotten that I marched when I didn’t know Jonathan. I didn’t think it was time for me to march again so I didn’t bother to march.”

However, he praised the president for not denying him access but said some of the things he recommended in the past did not end up being implemented.

The pastor said he might be forced to reason along with those who claim a cabal has hijacked the presidency.

“I must give something to President Muhammadu Buhari, every time I had sought an opportunity to see him, he opened the door. And I had gone with different recommendations just as others have done,” he said.

“But, perhaps at implementation state, I did not know whether to believe the theory of a cabal or the wicked around the throne of the righteous. Because he alone cannot deliver all these things. A tree does not make a forest.

“The type of leader you are will determine the type of people you will attract to yourself.”

Asked if he felt Buhari was nepotic, as claimed by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Bakare said, “I had no reason at a time with him to believe he was ever nepotic.

“Because he did say to me he will assemble the best and the brightest and the fittest; east, west, north and south of the country to fix this country.

“But when I read what Obasanjo wrote, and I read the list of key appointments made, you begin to think did they just put the thing on his table to sign or this is just what he did deliberately.

“That’s food for thought.”

Religion / Covenant Steps To The Fulfilment Of Prophecies. by planetzoom: 8:24am On Jan 29, 2018
Our level of spiritual understanding of the truth determines the level of profitability we are entitled to.
Matthew 13:23
But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
The understanding factor determines the yield of individuals.
Proverbs 21:16
Whoever strays from the path of prudence comes to rest in the company of the dead.
Simply put, lack of understanding makes a believer like an unbeliever. We must therefore understand how the prophetic works so we don’t get frustrated in the process.
1. The prophetic are ordained to engender signs.
Signs are out of this world kind of happenings.
Psalms 74:9
The prophetic word sets the stage for signs and wonders.
“By this time next year…”
Although God had prophesied that we are for signs and wonders (Isaiah 8:18) We see not our signs. Why?
Prophets are triggers for signs and wonders.
The Prophetic word sets the stage for signs and wonders.
Everything God is saying about you are triggers for signs and wonders; all you need do is believe them and you find signs and wonders come as proof of God’s confirmation.
2. Prophecies are not religious wishes; they are the unfolding of divine agenda.
Prophecies are not mere human wishes They are not things to hype you up.
Joshua 21:45
Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.
God’s word unveils God’s general word for us, and prophets come to signal the time for that agenda in our lives.
3. Prophecies are not motivational statements, they are the unfolding of divine agenda. They are not scientific predictions but the unveiling of divine plan.
Isaiah 14:24
The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:
How powerful are prophecies?
1. Prophecies carry inbuilt capacity within them for fulfilment.
Luke 1:34-35
Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Every prophetic word carries the capacity to bring them to pass.
You can’t arrange the fulfilment of the prophecy. It carries within it the power of the Most High to bring it to pass.
No matter how heavy the statements are, it has inbuilt power to fulfill itself. God’s ways are past finding out (Eccl. 11:5)
Allow God to have his way in your life instead of bothering yourself about the how.
How God speaks
a. God speaks according to what he can do and will do; not what you or me can do.
Gen 22:16-17
and said, “By Myself I have sworn, declares the LORD, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son, 17indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies. 18″In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”
b. God speaks according to his capacity to perform, not our inability to respond.
For mocking God’s capacity, the man on whose hand the King rested died (2 Kings 7:20). It is foolishness to bother about God, He is the maker of heaven and earth.
What will take place in your life this year, 50 years of struggle can’t accomplish it, if you will let God have his way. It is in your hands and my hands. With God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37)
c. God speaks according to his integrity (Matthew 24:35) Numbers 23:19
It is impossible for God to lie (Heb 6:18)
4. Prophetic words are spiritual seeds.
1 Peter 1:23; 2 Peter 1:19
If they are seeds, they will have to be cultivated before they can bear fruits for fulfilment. Until a seed is sown, tended and nurtured, it never bears fruits. We must sow and nuture the prophetic word in our hearts according to scriptural dictates so it can bring fruits for fulfilment.
To cultivate the prophetic seed, we must believe it, receive it and subscribe to the demands thereof. Luke 1:45
You scorn the word, you miss it. You believe and receive the word as authentic, you are on your path to seeing it fulfilled.
Any prophetic word you don’t receive, you have no part or lot in its fulfillment.
In the name of Jesus, receive grace to believe the prophetic word. Receive grace to believe without any reservations.
Subscribe to the demand: Make for me first. If you don’t subscribe to the demands, the fulfilment thereof is not in view. Every prophetic word comes with a demand on your life and my life.
Demands:
Kingdom stewardship. If you are not out to serve God, you may not see his word fulfilled. Your commitment to serve God and his kingdom entitles you to the great agenda God has for you.
No Christian can walk in financial fortune without engaging the demands of tithing, and without jumping at opportunities for sacrifice: tithing to secure the blessings, sacrifice to open new chapters for your life.
“My blessing is in God’s hands with whom I have a covenant. I have a covenant with God of eternal supplies.”

You are not damned because there is no helper; you are damned because you are disconnected. These things don’t work by wishing, they work by working.
In the name of Jesus, this year must answer to you openly.

Every prophecy we desire to see fulfilled must be planted in our hearts and treated according to scriptures. Proverbs 4:20-22.
Don’t let the circumstances of life erode the validity of God’s word in your life.
5. Prophetic words are for set times.
Genesis 21:2 This is a set time for you because your long awaited year has come!
The year will be a year of unusual speed for you in Jesus name!

When God’s hand comes upon you, divine speed is the result.

Politics / Herdsmen Killings: Why We Will Resist Cattle Colonies,ranches-miyetti Allah by planetzoom: 3:57pm On Jan 28, 2018
The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, has said that they would do everything to resist Federal Government’s plans to establish cattle colonies and the ban on open grazing as passed by some State Governments.
Speaking through its North East Chairman, Alhaji Mafindi Danburam, the group said open grazing was the tradition of a Fulani man and that no had the right to stop anyone from practicing their tradition, adding that colony was not their culture.
Danburam told Punch, “You see, we know the plan of the Federal Government and I tell you that anything that infringes on our rights, we will go to court.
“Open grazing is our culture and you cannot wake up one day and stop me from practising my culture.
“Cattle colony is not our culture . We have our culture and tradition and we want to maintain it.”
The Taraba State Government had earlier said that the implementation of its anti-open grazing law, which started on Wednesday, will be a gradual process, but the group is in total objection to the development.
Danburan added, “As the Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria in the North-East, who is also the immediate past Chairman of the group in Taraba State, I want to tell you that we do not accept the open grazing prohibition law being implemented in Taraba State.
“We don’t need it, we don ’t want it and that is why we are challenging the law in a court of competent jurisdiction — the state High Court.
“The case is before her lordship, the Chief Judge of Taraba State, Justice Josephine Tuktur. So, we won ’t do anything before the outcome of the case'' He said
Religion / This is the meaning of christ by planetzoom: 12:51pm On Jan 28, 2018
Question: "What does Christ mean?"
Answer: To the surprise of some, “Christ” is not Jesus’ last name (surname). “Christ” comes from the Greek word Christos , meaning “ anointed one” or “chosen one.” This is the Greek equivalent of the Hebrew word Mashiach, or “Messiah.” “Jesus” is the Lord’s human name given to Mary by the angel Gabriel (Luke 1:31 ). “Christ” is His title, signifying Jesus was sent from God to be a King and Deliverer (see Daniel 9:25 ;
Isaiah 32:1 ). “Jesus Christ” means “Jesus the Messiah” or “Jesus the Anointed One.”
In ancient Israel, when someone was given a position of authority, oil was poured on his head to signify his being set apart for God’s service (e.g., 1 Samuel 10:1 ). Kings, priests, and prophets were anointed in such fashion. Anointing was a symbolic act to indicate God’s choosing (e.g., 1 Samuel 24:6 ). Although the literal meaning of anointed refers to the application of oil, it can also refer to one’s consecration by God, even if literal oil is not used (Hebrews 1:9 ).
There are hundreds of prophetic passages in the Old Testament that refer to a coming Messiah who would deliver His people (e.g., Isaiah 61:1 ; Daniel 9:26 ). Ancient Israel thought their Messiah would come with military might to deliver them from decades of captivity to earthly kings and pagan nations. But the New Testament reveals a much better deliverance provided by Jesus the Messiah—a deliverance from the power and penalty of sin (Luke 4:18 ; Romans 6:23 ).
The Bible says Jesus was anointed with oil on two separate occasions by two different women (Matthew 26:6–7 ; Luke 7:37–38 ), but the most significant anointing came by way of the Holy Spirit (Acts 10:38 ). Jesus’ title of “Christ” means He is God’s Anointed One, the One who fulfills the Old Testament prophecies, the Chosen Savior who came to rescue sinners (1 Timothy 1:15 ), and the King of kings who is coming back again to set up His Kingdom on earth (Zechariah 14:9 ).

Obj is an enigmatic and influential opinion leader. His letters and comments have always crystallised public opinion and has always been a major determining factor in Electioneering . The Letter to Buhari is just an.overview of what majority of Nigerians have been saying about this government.
Buhari should be a statesman and retire to his comfortable abode in Daura after this single term. Any attempt by him to recontest will only bring him the Jonathan treatment. Nigerians in all likelihood will vote in a more credible and detribalized Nigerian who understand the diversity and heterogenity of the Nigerian state and who will take all Nigerians as equal citizens . Needless to say,Nigeria has become an Animal farm under General Buhari.
