^ This is a feminist article, (AAUW) they clearly state that the pay gap is primarily caused by the different jobs men and women choose. In an apples to apples comparison the difference is 7 cents out of $100, less than 1 cent out of minimum wage!

And even then it is more than defrayed by the fact that women get more benefits from their jobs, like less hours, more insurance coverage, etc. Males usually have more dependants to share their money with (stay at home wife, kids, etc) And there is a net transfer of wealth from males to females!
