** 16days after your interview / capture , go to their twitter handler , to confirm readiness of it. You will be ask to provide enrollment number and passport office and your full name. Just seat back , wait and hear the good news (1-3 days) to get feedback, which is always positive.

I was told that is the administrative charges, yes that is the word the man I met used, and I can say I tipped them because most all the people I taught could help help in guaranting my form doesn't have any means of id aside the passport, so I was at his Mercy to help me with guarantor, I think that is the only clause for me to pay the 5k, but all in all, I have been captured.

Do you want to get your 5k back? hope you picked the name attached on the officer uniform, if yes... Then you are on your way to getting your money back.

You were not forced to pay, they had reasons to make you pay. ( I would say you tipped them or gave bribe )

I don't think that is possible, but you can try your luck, I know at Servicom they will confirm the date.if your interview date is within two weeks from the date you made payment, then you are on the right track...

If you don't have any plans on travelling or using the passport for something urgent. Kindly relax and follow above steps... When in doubt, go to Nigeria Immigration twitter handle and get more info.

them dey run the NIN for Ikoyi .... but i would advise if you can do it in oshogbo where you are .. i meant the NIN .. then you go online ( https://immigration.gov.ng) Apply online and make your payment online .. then choose ikoyi as your processing centre .. after which you proceed to ikoyi centre ... since its a fresh passport you are applying for ... you would need your original birth cert , State of origin certificate ... guarantor form.. filled , signed and sealed and your other printed docs...... go straight to service comm ... your passport will be out in 2weeks or before even .. thats for sure .. fact ...please and please dont go through any tout .. if you decide to .. you are on your own .. and you have joined the sane group of people in Nigeria Niyen ooo .. NB..you can do the NIN at the Ikoyi there .. but you will meet people there ... so be patient ooo ...

Tell your sister to get the name of the who so ever officer that asked her for such, go to this twitter handler @nigimmigration and report, your issue will be resolve without stress... Some sort of VIP treatment will be given

hi, please, i will be needing the int. passport for the IELTS exams i intend writing soon. Someone in the passport office in Ikoyi told me its 40k for the new E-passport and that it will take like 1 week at most to get it. i want to know if this is the best price possible as i dont have excess funds like that to pay. kindly offer some insight if you can.

The new enhance passport is 25k excluding charges for online payment. If it's urgent and you chose to go with the NIS Agent guys, goodluck! Most times that 1 week turns out to be a month, but if you are not in a hurry or your visa never ready or plans to japa still they ahead, why not relax for another 18 - 20 days after your interview date.
By then it will be ready on their shelf waiting for you to pick up.

I also applied for the NIS on the official website. Total bill given was 25,000 for standard 5yrs passport with an additional 500 chargers. I did choose innovate1pay and I got Transaction ID to proceed to payment.

My first question is I'm I right on track with the 25k bill?

Yes, you will be issued the new enhanced passport. The charged recently changed, l think last week Monday, from the 17,000 to 25000 for the 32 page booklet- 5years, 64page booklet now 35000 - 5years and 64page booklet now 70,000 - 10years.

Finally got my passport today in Abeokuta.

Just got back home now.

The journey

Went to Abeokuta on 10th May, 2019 for something else. Whilst discussing at the Governor's office, saw the Immigration Office. I asked the officer if I can do my passport in Ogun instead of Lagos that I was told to bring ₦60,000. He said yes and we started.

Paid ₦35,000 on Friday 10th May.
Went for Capturing on Tuesday 14th May, 2019
Went to ABK yesterday 27th May, 2019 to further induce and paid extra ₦5000.
Passport was printed yesterday 27th May, 2019 around 21:00 but I couldn't stay back.
Went to ABK today 28th May, 2019. Got there around 13:00pm. I just worked in, and collected it by 13:30 I was done. I bypassed some people who have been on the queue since 5:00am
Those that took me in and some officers that asked for owó Coke, I gave all of them ₦4,000.

Here's the total cost

₦40,000
₦15,000 fueling for the 3 times I went from Lagos
₦4,000 to appreciate people
₦59,000

I'm sharing this not to show off, but to weep for my country. As Christ said, it is finished. Our leaders have failed us and there's no hope for common man anymore

Cash available - is this supposed to be the amount the guarantor has in his account?
Name and Address of Banker(s) - is this supposed to be the name and address of the bank(s) or the account officers.
House -if the guarantor doesn't have a house, can he fill nill?
other assets: if the guarantor doesn't have an asset, can he fill nill or none?
