Hi guys, nice work here. It seems this thread is no longer very active but I hope an expert will see and answer my question.

I have 5 Game of Thrones related domains namely:
khaldrogo.com
samwelltarly.com
daenaerys.com
daenaerystargaryen.com
gameofthrones.io

I have tried selling all on namepros (Had issues with trademark), flippa (Paid both $25 & $65 promotion fees for khaldrogo.com yet no positive result). Is there hope of selling each of the domains for at least $500 or should I just forget it. Please advice on the way out. Thanks

Sent out some emails to potential end-users and I got a reply from the buyer, indicating his interest in the domain. I quoted $350 then he went silent.

But from the streak I was using to track my outbound mails, I saw him opening the mails almost every 6 hours (guess he was contemplating).

After about 1 week, he messaged me, asking for me to consider $200. I turned it down, but shifted a little to $300.

Then he went silent again. Since I wasn't getting any new lead, I messaged him after 10 days that he should pay the $200.

He replied almost instantly that he was designing the logo for the domain name, that was why it took long for him to reply. I was seriously pained that I lost $100 for being too hasty (well, we all learn everyday).

I asked him when he will pay, but he replied that he was out of fund and will pay after he receive a gig.

All this dragged on for over 1 month. I was on the brink on giving up when he messaged me for the whole process.

This was via afternic. Listed it on undeveloped for $599 (which was the landing page) but buyer went for the higher price on afternic

I don't really like Afternic delay in terms of payment. Unlike undeveloped that pay you within 24 or 48 hours, it took almost 2 weeks to receive my payment.

But I'm happy the buyer didn't pay the $599 that I had on undeveloped.

Got $1584 after the 20% deduction

PS. I choose the option to receive naira into my account, but afternic cheated me badly with the exchange rate. They exchange @339.7 (terrible). Please don't ever choose that option. Choose your naira straight up.

Hold time: 1 month although the buyer showed interest 24hrs after registration. But after several follow ups, he told me he had tried making payment 3 times with his Amex (American Express) through undeveloped but Amex told him it is a fraudulent transaction. I quickly changed my namesavers to namesilo and told him to try this last time, and viola, transaction was successful.
Guess the issue is undeveloped. Know of two guys with the same issue.

It's a discreet sale.
Buyers seems sensitive so I don't want to drop the names for now. Both are on same niche.
Made two sales in the last week of March, both domains sold in the interval of two days, and between one week of registration.

Both domains sold for $250 each.

Both are geo domains...
One was bought for $1,while another was bought for $6.99

That's all I can say for now.
