The lightest parameters of a military pact were detailed in the article i posted. It can be as little as simple training drills or as serious as arms deals. A defense pact is not some all important unbreakable alliance like you think it is.

Though nieth russia or china is obliged to provide solders they will provide aid and internation pressure. There goes any though of support from the ukrain or pakistan.

A defense pact is a very loose term... it can mean as little as join training exercises or military contracts. It does not mean both countries have to enter war to defend each other.

Theres all sorts of obscure defense pacts that not many people know about... Nigeria has one with pakistan aswell. Its not something that means much

You'll see the weakness in an army dependent on imports and you will also see the hopelessness of the Nigerian army in the last 40 years. You'll also never compare a self sufficient, exporting military with a military that wouldn't be able to defend its territory; if they were successfully sanctioned or blockaded for any reason at all. If you are a Nigerian version of military expert then I can only weep.
