After it was reported earlier that Minister of Aviation Stella Oduah had presented false information on her educational background, the Minister has moved to cover-up evidence that she made those claims.
The embattled Minister has deleted the name of the school from her Facebook and Wikipedia pages. Mrs Oduah has not publicly responded to any of the allegations.
Mrs. Oduah’s biography on the website of the Ministry of Aviation has also been revised, with references to St. Paul’s College now wiped out.
“Oduah-Ogiemwonyi received her Bachelors and
Masters Degree (in Accounting and Business Administration respectively) in the United States,” the new profile said of Mrs. Oduah’s education, without any reference to the university she attended.
The Wikipedia page of the minister was also edited and it now has no reference to the university Mrs. Oduah attended. The last edit on the Wikipedia page was done at 14:41 p.m. Nigerian time.
All links and reference materials on the Wikipedia page capable of linking the minister to the university that has disowned her have also been deleted.
Even the minister’s personal website has been reviewed to remove any reference to St. Paul’s College.
While the links leading to Mrs. Oduah’s foundation and photographs remain active, the other principal link, which should lead to her history page, has been deactivated.

The image shows a transparent figure dressed in
modern clothing gazing out over the Thames near
Westminster Bridge in London. Professional
photographer Jules Annan took the image on New
Year's Eve - but only noticed the ghostly apparition
when he got home. He insists he did not use double
or long exposure to create the image. Paranormal
experts say the figure is either a ghost, or someone
tampering with the image with editing software.

An unidentified soldier, yesterday morning
allegedly beat a bus conductor (names
unknown) to death at Obalende in Lagos, for
insisting that the soldier who boarded his
vehicle must pay his fare.
According to reports, the unidentified danfo
driver with vehicle number LSD 451 XG was
pounced on by the soldier who was in a mufti
following a heated argument over transport
fare.
Eyewitnesses say the man had accompanied
his wife to the park at Obalende to get a bus
to her destination. Within a moment, the late
conductor and the woman, exchanged hot
words over transport fare.
That made the unformed man to react. He lost
his temper and kept beating the guy, until he
died,” one account said.
He was said to have dragged the deceased,
raining blows on his head, stomach and chest.
On noticing he had given up the ghost, the
soldier, it was learnt, attempted to run but
commuters and passersby who witnessed the
beating arrested him and told him to carry the
corpse to the hospital.
Sensing that the soldier was about to be
mobbed, a policeman at the scene phoned his
colleagues at the Kam Selem Police Divisional
Headquarters, Moloney Street and four police
patrol vehicles with policemen arrived the
scene.
A detachment of armed soldiers from nearby
Dodan Barracks also arrived the scene to
prevent the culprit from being killed by the
mob.
The soldiers took away their colleague and the
corpse to their barracks after dispersing
hundreds of people asking for the soldier’s
blood.

Scientist at the Gladstone Institutes have
identified the precise chain of molecular
events in the human body that drives the
death of most of the immune system’s CD4 T
cells as an HIV infection leads to AIDS.
“Gladstone has showed how the body’s own
immune response to HIV causes CD4 T cell
death via a pathway triggering inflammation,
and secondly by identifying the host DNA
sensor that detects the viral DNA and triggers
this death response,” said Dr. Robert F.
Further, they have identified an existing anti-
inflammatory drug that in laboratory tests
blocks the death of these cells — and now are
planning a Phase 2 clinical trial to determine if
this drug or a similar drug can prevent HIV-
infected people from developing AIDS.
Two separate journal articles, published
simultaneously in Nature and Science, detail
the research from the laboratory of Dr. Warner
C. Greene, who directs virology and
immunology research at Gladstone, an
independent biomedical-research nonprofit.
His lab’s Science paper reveals how, during an
HIV infection, a protein known as IFI16 senses
fragments of HIV DNA in abortively infected
immune cells. This triggers the activation of
the human enzyme caspase-1 and leads to
pyroptosis, a fiery and highly inflammatory
form of cell death.
As revealed in Nature, this repetitive cycle of
abortive infection, cell death, inflammation
and recruitment of additional CD4 T cells to
the infection “hot zone” ultimately destroys
the immune system and causes AIDS.
Siliciano, a professor of medicine at Johns
Hopkins University, and a Howard Hughes
Medical Institute investigator. “This one-two
punch of discoveries underscores the critical
value of basic science — by uncovering the
major cause of CD4 T cell depletion in AIDS,
Dr. Greene’s lab has been able to identify a
potential new therapy for blocking the
disease’s progression and improving on
current antiretroviral medications.”

The negative fortune of the ruling Peoples
Democratic Party, PDP, is set to deem even
further as the Speaker of the House of
Representatives, Rt. Hon. Aminu Tambuwal is
set to formally decamp to the leading opposition
party in the country, the All Progressives
Congress, APC.
The Speaker’s decision came as a shock to the
leadership of PDP, who earlier in December
had extracted a word of commitment from the
House leaders that member’s defection will no
longer be tenable.
National Mirror gathered that the Sokoto State
chapter of the APC has mandated its
Tambuwal Local Government chapter to
formally present a membership card to the
Speaker who has been asked by the state
Governor, Aliyu Wamakko to formally declare
his stand.
It was gathered, however, that Tambuwal
would retain his seat as Speaker due to the
numerical strength of the opposition party as
soon as he decamps from the PDP and join the
APC in January.
It will be recalled that the defection of some
members of the House of Representatives
elected on the platform of the ruling party into
APC has brought the number of the federal
lawmakers of the opposition party to 172. The
PDP presently has 171.
The likely defection of Tambuwal will further
alter the equation in favour of APC in the
House, with its membership increasing to 173,
with PDP coming down to 170.
More PDP members in the House are also
planning to join Tambuwal as soon as he
declares for APC.
A source in Tambuwal’s camp confirmed the
move by saying:
“Mr. Speaker… is set to tap the numerical
strength of APC in the House to retain his seat.
The defection of Mr. Speaker is going to alter
the political equation in the House
substantially because many other members of
the House are likely to join him to move to
APC.
“The speaker has made up his minds and he
has perfected the strategies with the leaders
of APC and he is not likely to go into APC alone
as some of his colleagues in the House have
also decided to follow him into the opposition
party.”

One man who is out to open many old
"secrets" in the Catholic church is Pope
Francis. Some of the beliefs that are held in
the church but contrary to the loving nature of
God are now being set aside by the Pope who
was recently name The Man of The Year by
TIME Magazine, I don't know if he truly said

In his latest revelations, Pope Francis said:
"Through humility, soul searching, and
prayerful contemplation we have gained a new
understanding of certain dogmas. The church
no longer believes in a literal hell where
people suffer. This doctrine is incompatible
with the infinite love of God. God is not a
judge but a friend and a lover of humanity.
God seeks not to condemn but only to
embrace. Like the fable of Adam and Eve, we
see hell as a literary device. Hell is merely a
metaphor for the isolated soul, which like all
souls ultimately will be united in love with
God.”
In a shocking speech that is reverberating
across the world, Pope Francis declared that:
“All religions are true, because they are true in
the hearts of all those who believe in them.
What other kind of truth is there? In the past,
the church has been harsh on those it deemed
morally wrong or sinful. Today, we no longer
judge. Like a loving father, we never condemn
our children. Our church is big enough for
heterosexuals and homosexuals, for the pro-
life and the pro-choice! For conservatives and
liberals, even communists are welcome and
have joined us. We all love and worship the
same God.”
In the last six months, Catholic cardinals,
bishops and theologians have been
deliberating in the Vatican City, in discussing
the future of the church and redefining long-
held Catholic doctrines and dogmas. The Third
Vatican Council, is the largest and most
important since the Second Vatican Council
was concluded in 1962.
Pope Francis convened the new council to
“finally finish the work of the Second Vatican
Council.”
The Third Vatican Council concluded with Pope
Francis announcing that...
Catholicism is now a “modern and reasonable
religion, which has undergone evolutionary
changes.
The time has come to abandon all intolerance.
We must recognize that religious truth evolves
and changes. Truth is not absolute or set in
stone. Even atheists acknowledge the divine.
Through acts of love and charity the atheist
acknowledges God as well, and redeems his
own soul, becoming an active participant in
the redemption of humanity.”
One statement in the Pope’s speech has sent
traditionalists into a fit of confusion and
hysteria...
“God is changing and evolving as we are, For
God lives in us and in our hearts. When we
spread love and kindness in the world, we
touch our own divinity and recognize it. The
Bible is a beautiful holy book, but like all great
and ancient works, some passages are
outdated. Some even call for intolerance or
judgement. The time has come to see these
verses as later interpolations, contrary to the
message of love and truth, which otherwise
radiates through scripture. In accordance with
our new understanding, we will begin to
ordain women as cardinals, bishops and
priests. In the future, it is my hope that we will
have a woman pope one day. Let no door be
closed to women that is open to men!”
A few cardinals in the Catholic church are
against Pope Francis' latest declarations.
