I just wonder where the Noahs of this generation are, because it seems we’re already reenacting Sodom and Gomorrah.
EducationRe: See The Assignment Given To A 2-year Old In Pre School by Plumkin(f): 6:16am On Jun 02, 2017
I'm not even sure I would allow my child to a conventional school at such a tender age. But if I did, it's definitely not going to be some mushroom business centre called school because no QUALIFIED TEACHER would try to mind f^*k a 2 year old like this...so annoying
RomanceRe: My Girlfriend Tested Me With Cheating & 'Pregnancy' by Plumkin(f):
I think these kinds of tests are just unnecessary; a by-product of a twisted mind. It is like begging for something that will still be handed to you whether you want it or you don't.
If we are still breathing, Tests Always happen in Life. We usually don't have a say on when, how or what it is. Those tests, that mother nature herself brings our way, are the real tests of virtue: strength, faith, love, loyalty, good morals etc..

Dear Poster, I think you played your part well. If you are truly in Love with your girl, I believe you'll never have cause to regret your actions.

FamilyRe: Fun- Bonding Activities For Couples by Plumkin(f): 5:03pm On Sep 06, 2013
In no specific order and under the assumption that you're both in love:

Stare into each other's eyes
Don't forget the kissy kissy
Shower together
Play fight
Dance
Fall asleep in each other's arms
Learn something new together
Try to let some things go, so long it doesn't lead to resentment
Try not to get too clingy
Honesty is premium
Nairaland GeneralRe: Are You A Lark, An Owl Or Hummingbird? by Plumkin(f): 3:29pm On Sep 06, 2013
To be very very realistic... I could be any of the three at any point in time. It all depends on my state of mind and the task at hand.

My boss seems to be an 'OWL' though: Lethargic all morning till Lunch time, visibly battles sleep after lunch till some 30 minutes to closing time(5pm) when his brain suddenly lights up and then he starts doing light weight jobs or find faults where there is none.

Wallie:
The pronunciations of magicians, musicians and politicians are actually close to your phonetic spellings except for the "k", at least in the US.
Interesting. Is there any explanation for the others? Like 'Mutoh car'

It’s funny how we struggle to keep up with international standards in our fashion, music, food, education etc. But, it ceases to be the same when it comes to the area of language.
Someone suddenly realises that English is not their mother tongue. So, why do you give birth to children and keep him/her from speaking ‘vernacular’?!
LiteratureRe: Why Do Most Nigerians Fail To Pronounce These Words Correctly? by Plumkin(f): 7:28am On Sep 28, 2011
I think a lot of people mispronounce words because they do not know their meanings and probably they never care to find out.
I understand when they know that they are not well educated and are open to learning.
The most annoying are the BSc English,MBA & other fancy degrees parading ones. They would boldly ask you to expantiate angry on a topic, demand for visibility undecided studies, want to know your itinery undecided and wants to satisfy cry my work! So damn annoying.

Concurring with you view on putting a discretion warning up.

For me, the pictures are gory and disturbing. At least, consider the expectant mothers on the forum and take down the pictures. I don't think this is a good thing for them to see. Even if they pray round the clock. Thank you!!!

RomanceRe: Let's Discuss Why Relationships Break Up. . . by Plumkin(f): 8:03am On Jul 07, 2011
Religious and Cultural issues top my list. I and my boyfriend of 5 yrs have broken up for about 4 months now, but not a single member of his family seem to care.

They are muslims and I am christain and the father told me in clear terms that i will have to convert to islam to marry their son. The mother, she's kept mum and only says things to her son about the relationship. Worse still, I never get to hear whatever she's said, even if i asked till thy kingdom come.

It is reaaallly hard but I'm trying to forget the past ang get on with my life,
