its true dstv wil b on w7. They claim it is for a stronga signal receiption dat is good for our terestial climatic condition. i.e no loss of signal even when its rainin. Our fingers r crossed !.
Also w7 wil posses dual polarity of v & h. Hence,those using a single for multiple decoder shud get ready 2 buy quad or twin lnb dependin on number of decoders.

its o.k. D only difculty u mite have is inputin d tp. I'l advice u just edit one from d w4 tps.
Yes u can combine 2-4 dishes on 1 reciever. Get a diseqc switch wen u go 2 get ur 1m dish.

u need a 60cm for astra2b & a 90cm for w3a.
Note: pas7/10 is east,while nss7 is west.hence 4 dis exercise,pas7/10wil b d reference(startin) point & position.
For astra2b (60cm)dish.
1. mount d dish facing 7/10 (east) position.
2. instal d dish leavin d screws dat allows d dish to face up & down a bit tightened.
3. also d screw dat holds d dish to d pole shud b tightened to allow easy shift of dish left & right.
4. pas7/10 is 68.5east.,frm here take a cue from above post to prince paris.
Afta saving,now go to wen u hit green,start tightin d screws,takin serious note of d signal quality & strenght.
5. stif tightnen shud b @ d highest %.

with ur 60cm dish,i'l advice u go for GTV (AUB affiliated)on astra 2b on 28 east. Ur hitv is on 36east. Input this tp 12600v3250 on ur decoder.standin at d back of ur dish,shift d dish to ur right a bit gently & makin sure d dish is elevated facin up.once u nail d bird,just store & then blindscan.
If u want to increase ur chances of wider ANC coverage,i'l advice u go for w3a with 90cm dish.
By d way wat receiver r u using, strong or hitv branded ?.hope it helps

oga george don yan u d koko. But if ur friend stil want dose news station , eg , bbc & aljazeera on fta,then it wunt b for 24 hrs & it wunt b c-band.
He can get the stations discretely on tvm on w3a 90cm dish & bbc, aljazeera on crtv on astrab 60cm dish,both on ku-band.

Or if u have a dstv or hitv around u,face ur dish to dat directn.standin @ d back of ur dish search to ur right facin d dish up. Bst of luck

@ borderline, first service don change to wts station wit d tp i posted earlier. try am only wen live matches dat belongs to dsthieves are aired. na dem get d feed. its on for studio camera.                                                                                                                      @hopitinto, yes u can, if your lnb is ku. but why waste your mesh dish  trackin 2m alone, der r other super fta bird u can nail wit a mesh.                                                                          @ olatufu, frm research, iv com 2 conclude dat 80cm dish somehow does a beta n easy trackin of boths bird than a 90cm. try d 80-75cm wit difrent lnbs if it doesnt work out,den we keep trying till we make it happen 1 day,  viva fta,
