A man, Mian Faisal, has been charged to court for allegedly attacking his wife, stripping her n*ked and beating her with a pole and afterwards shaved her head, for refusing to dance for his friends.

22-year-old Asma Aziz, wife of Mian and mother of three, claimed in a video posted online that she was attacked and humiliated by her husband and his friends because she had refused to dance for them.

Her husband and his employee had appeared at the Model Town Courts in Lahore, Pakistan, on Monday, after four days on remand.

Judicial Magistrate Shahid Zia has now ordered Faisal to remain in custody to await a medical report on his alleged victim’s injuries.

But Faisal has begged the court to give him chance to explain his side of the story.

Asma was present at Monday’s hearing along with her lawyers, where she urged the court to bring her husband to justice.

She said Faisal had frequently forced her to dance for his friends previously, but this time she said no.

In the video last week, she claimed how he and his friends ‘ripped her clothes off’ before she was pinned down while her husband shaved her head then set it on fire.

‘They (my husband and his friend) undressed and beat me with a pipe,’ she said in the footage.

‘My clothes were bloody. I was bound by a pipe and hung from the fan. He threatened to hang me n*ked.’

‘You [the media] have been advocates for Asma for the past one week — give an hour to me and listen to what I have to say,’ Mian said.

‘I will accept any punishment I am given.’ He said again.

Asma says that although Faisal was kind and loving when they first married four years ago, after just six months she noticed his behaviour beginning to change.

She claims he began to beat her after drinking alcohol and often invited his friends for parties at their house.

Asma also alleges that when she went to police, officers refused to register her claim because she could not pay a bribe, saying on camera she felt her only option was to ask the public for help.

Nollywood screen diva, Genevieve Nnaji says she is a woman who has rights to choices and can do whatever she feels like.

4. They’re Suddenly Different: Cheating partners are often hunted by guilt which makes them go through frequent and unexplained mood changes. They pick fights and indulge in malicious behaviours to justify their deeds. There could also be a sharp and sometimes counterintuitive alteration in their routines or daily schedules. Perhaps your partner who hated sports suddenly became addicted to gyming or they start working unusually late. Whichever it is for you, if it makes him into an utterly different person, then chances are that you might have an unknown rival.

5. They Become Evasive: Have you ever tried to talk out issues unsettling your relationship and he gets uneasy, defensive or changes the subject? Did she freak out, get angry the last you questioned her faithfulness or counter-accused you yourself? Perhaps it has become difficult to have an honest, heart-to-heart conversation with them. All these might indeed be signs of evasiveness which might unfortunately mean you have a reason to be worried.

6. Extra Grooming: Naturally, people undergo a drastic change in their grooming and overall fashion preferences if they attain a major milestone in their work life or relationship like being promoted at work or finally hooking up with a long-time crush. Signs like a partner becoming self-conscious all of sudden, putting up extra and unexplained grooming effort that hasn’t been there before can mean they’re having an affair. Worse is if they supposedly return from work and jump right into a long shower.

7. Secretiveness: Coded and secretive text messages, unknown and frequently calling phone numbers, uneasiness when picking calls around you, sudden preference for texting, weird demands for privacy, obviously illogical lies and other tell-tale signs that implies something’s just off are all part it. Is there an unusual change in your partner’s finances—whether an unexplained increase or extravagant expenses? Did they suddenly stop feeling comfortable with discussing their schedules with you? If you have noticed these signs, then it’s high time you mustered up the courage and find out the truth for yourself.

It's a baffle to me that marriage, a union designed by God, for love and attention, for procreation and joy, has turned into a mockery. What was not seen in the marriages of our parents, fore fathers and first parents, are creeping into our marriages these days. I just want to agree it is God defining our life.

A 55-year-old grandmother has given birth to her own grandchild – because her daughter was born without a womb.

Emma Miles, who already has two of her own children, gave the ultimate gift by offering to be a surrogate for her daughter, 31-year-old Tracey Smith, who feared she would never have a child of her own after being diagnosed with Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser Syndrome (MRKH).

Because Mrs Smith’s ovaries still worked normally, she used IVF with her husband, Adam, 40, to create an embryo which was then implanted into Mrs Miles.

Even though Mrs Miles had already been through the menopause, she was able to be a surrogate because the baby was created from her daughter’s eggs. Her womb was healthy enough to carry a child, though she needed to shed six stone (38kg) to reach a healthy weight and needed hormones to ensure the pregnancy took.

Tracey’s dad Robert Miles, 61, was also very supportive. He put it in writing through a solicitor that he and Emma would happily give parental rights to Adam and Tracey once the baby was born.

A 39-year-old woman, April Lane, who suffered years of infertility before finally having kids of her own, and had them in large quantity now, has donated her uterus to another woman suffering infertility so the woman could experience motherhood too. How lovely!
The kind hearted woman, Aprill Lane suffered infertility for years. But now, she has five kids, ages 7 and under.
Lane, who works for a biotech company, adopted her oldest son after she and her husband, Brian, were diagnosed with “unexplained infertility” and tried for four years to get pregnant through in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Late last year, she had donated her own uterus so that another woman could have the ability to conceive and carry a child.
Lane said: “Infertility really, aside from the physical effects of it, it emotionally and socially affects you in a huge way. If I could help one other person be relieved of some of that, I would.”

Pastor Ekene Samuel, the General Overseer of Gloryland Church, was arrested for impregnating and procuring abortion for a teenage member of his church, 17-year-old Miracle.
When met, the different charms were also found at the residence of Pastor Ekene and investigations by police about Pastor Ekene revealed he charmed and had sex with the 17-year-old Miracle in December 2018.
Just when luck could run out of him, Pastor Ekene was arrested after one Henry Aikhuaman reported that Miracle was missing.
It was gathered that Miracle was later found on a sick bed at Graceville Medical Centre along Ewah Road in Bénin City.
The doctors at the hospital were said to have told police interrogators that Miracle was brought in by one Happy Johnson, a deaconess in Pastor Ekene’s Church.
Speaking to newsmen at the police headquarters, Happy revealed that it was Pastor Ekene that told her to procure the abortion for the teenage girl, Miracle.
And the so called Pastor Ekene, on his part described Miracle as one of his daughter in his church.
“Last year I had an extra marital affair with her in August. She came to me this year that she was pregnant. I asked my member here to take her to the hospital. She was taking some drugs to remove the pregnancy. The baby died in her womb.
The doctors did surgery on her because she was having appendicitis. The hospital asked me to pay N380, 000 and I have paid N150, 000 before I was arrested. She did not die.
“These charms were items returned by people I prayed for through deliverance. Some are also for me. I also do spiritual work. I have anti-poison and others.”
Mr. Muhammed Dan Mallam, the Edo Commissioner, said the pastor isn’t going free, that he will be charged to court with his accomplice.

Enugu: Young Man Dumped by Girlfriend, Drinks Poison


A young handsome man, suffering from heartbreak, identified as Prince was hospitalized in Enugu hospital, after consuming a poisonous substance.
A note he left before taking the poison, stated he had been betrayed too many times by people he showed love and he was tired of it.

He also added that the resulting pain strained his relationship with his girlfriend, who no longer loves him.
However, he was rescued just in time before further harms and was rushed to a hospital I Enugu, where doctors are currently battling to stabilize him.

I was not stubborn and I was not quiet. It was all play, play, play. But I was loved by so many people around.

At the time you ventured into acting, what were your parents’ reactions?

Only my father was still around and he was excited seeing me in a movie. Like my husband too, he would say (to our children), come and play your mother’s film for us to watch. They enjoy my movies. My immediate younger brother, who is in the US, will say that I have found my talent and that is why it has swallowed me.

If you were not an actor, what else would you have been in life?

I would be cooking. I still cook till today.

Do you think there is a conflict between your faith and your profession?

No, there is no conflict. You know, we do drama in the church. It is like I am preaching; I say that the movie industry preaches to the whole world. A pastor can be in his church and be preaching to the people there, but the movies go very far with their stories. It is part of what I am doing.

The Plateau state police command have arrested one man, Timring Napkur by name, for allegedly raping and killing a pregnant woman in Gangnim Village of Langtang South Local Government Area of the state.

Isaac Akinmoyede, the state police commissioner, while parading the suspect before newsmen, said the suspect attacked the seven month pregnant woman, Zainab Abu, at the bank of a river where she was with her two daughters washing clothes.

Although the suspect looked remorseful and also begged for forgiveness. The chief police said he must be charged to court soon.

An Igando Customary Court in Lagos on Monday, has dissolved the 9 year-old marriage between one Udoekpo Daniel and his wife Margaret, over adultery.
The President of the Court, Mr Adeniyi Koledoye, held that since the petitioner insists on the divorce after several interventions, the court was left with no other option than to dissolve the union.
“The court hereby pronounces the marriage between Udoekpo and Margaret dissolved today, both of you henceforth cease to be husband and wife.

“Each of you should go his or her separate ways. The court wishes both of you well in your future endeavour.
