The Story is long but i will shorten it... - Confirmed the request of one KARREN MEADEN on fb. - Asked how 'she' got to know me and she said she was looking for a friend's hub, who is a NIGERIAN - We got talking, and she started telling me how she has been dreaming of meeting me in person because she has fallen in love with me, then we exchanged no...later got chatting on fb - In my curiosity/suspicion, i asked to video chat with me, and she said her Apple phone has a netlog apps that can only do video chat with another apple phone or laptop...later promised to send apple laptop and phone to me thru BA the next day (all because she loves me o) - The next day she sent message to me to have dropped the parcel (comprising apple laptop, phone, wrist watch and an envelop with $36,000) - She even sent pictures of the package on trolley at the airport and the ID with the Nigerian no of an agent: 0808 269 5583 - a guy whose pic is attached (he said is a staff at BA Nigeria, OLE!!!!!) - He said i should pay a sum of clearance fee of #80,800 to this account: UKPETHU OGHENEMARIE, Sterling Bank acc no: 0075852413. - It was at this point that i became very suspicious and i regained consciousness pls beware of this guy in the picture below oooo. See below also for the pictures of the innocent Oyinbo woman they used in their attempt to scam me

I rarely do this...but i think i need say that the Op has not been fair with the Govt of the day. Has there been an infraction on ECOWAS provisions concerning inter-national trade agreements by Govts of the affected nations - YES Does Nigeria have the rights to close its doors against such practices - YES Have we been reaping dividends of the closure - YES (reduced rate of banditry, Investors on rice production are assured of huge ROI this year, etc) The fact is the moment Nigerians just travel outside the shores of the country, we want to show the whole world we have something to tell of the place we travel to...if not, what does the OP know of any other place aside Canada? |
who all these help, brother? Many had in the past been this rich, but cannot point to one person they helped. where are they and their huge wealth today? Bro, be wise! |

See as the signs of the end times so real here! Some of u who took pictures with the so called 'celebrity' go to churches on Sundays, listen to the WORD, and yet the 'word preached did not profit them, being not mixed with faith in them that heard it'...I can see anyone with Hijab in the pictures, meaning some of the hijab-wearing muslims will make heaven than u that called urselves 'christians'. It is time to seek the Lord before the time is over for you. THINK! |

"Dave, I am just hoping you don't see this message in the wrong light. The wife I am married to now, is not the type of woman I honestly wanted to settle down with. My type should have a lot of 'meat' on the skin, both up-front and back-pack. That, is the woman that turns me on - even with my eyes closed. I love my wife for all the sacrifices she's made for me. I was unemployed when she first met me. She didn't judge me. She liked our friendship, regardless. She fed me for Three (3) years continually, for no reason, Dave... Just because I was her friend in need at that moment. When I realized she had fallen in love with me, I had to 'force' myself to love her too, because truth be told, it looked like she was the only one who could see so much good and potential in me during those trying times. We've been married for Seven (7) years, and Dave, God has been good to us. I am now gainfully employed. I bought my wife a new car. We've built our new home, we have a kid, everything almost seems to be alright, except, now, I am beginning to feel for my 'type' of woman to want to be with. And because I don't want to seem ungrateful, I have put the house in my wife's name. I'd want to settle her with GHs 100, 000 (it's from the profit I made in a deal), take full responsibility of my kid's needs, and then leave to live my life. I don't like cheating on my wife. She deserves better, and I fear she may one day find out I have been cheating. I don't know how to communicate all this intentions in spoken words to her. I don't know how she's going to feel or take my explanations, because she really loves me. Her love is deep and pure: so true a love I have never felt before, but Dave, it's all about love for me right now. What I want to really make me happy as a man, is not my wife. I want to be free to make my own choice and fall in love with my choice, all by myself. It's not so bad to also want what you want, is it? How will a woman take this excuse I am giving? And, how do I even begin the conversation with her?" (culled from "Dave, I am just hoping you don't see this message in the wrong light. you may share your experience too.... |
I was on my way with my portable family yesterday well dressed to attend my church's first Sunday of the year service in Lagos...getting to Agege just before the rail crossing towards Ashade market, my car developed movement problem (could only reverse, but not move forward). I called my Mechanic and after advising on certain things, problem persisted. Several calls to him was not picked again (his thought was I would invite him over to the rescue). But then, there was this other Mechanic that i was using before, I picked my ohone, searched his number and put a call across. He also gave same directives as the othere one, but problem persisted. He then promised to come over!!! . After about two and half hours, he emerged to my surprise...he never minded i had been to his workshop for long. Thanks goodness, he came and used O/D off to move vehicle away from location. Do not attempt to delete that old contacts, he/she may be your next 'messaiah' |
Quite interesting and educative...but you have not revealed how and by what means you overcame (if you really did!). Please come back to finish what you have started, as doing so will fully give credence to what you are trying to communicate. Regards! |
''As the anniversary of September 11, 2001, approached, I challenged my sixth grade class to participate in a school-wide “Acts of Kindness” project. Each child had the opportunity to sacrifice their time to do something for others to honor the thousands of people who died on that tragic day. “Do something you wouldn’t normally do,” I encouraged, “and it will be more meaningful.” The pledges rolled in. Some students pledged to spend time with an elderly neighbor. Some pledged to do the dishes for their mothers. Others offered to take over chores for their siblings. Each pledge was a sacrifice, but the more the children sacrificed, the better they felt.'' The above is culled from a piece i read today while observing my morning devotion, but the lessons here are what i will like to share.... 1. As the anniversary of September 11, 2001, approached...they do remember the day yearly! 2. a school-wide “Acts of Kindness” project....a project launched to commemorate the day! 3. Each child had the opportunity to sacrifice their time to do something for others to honor the thousands of people who died on that tragic day...children are engaged in the project, to bring home the lessons of love, kindness, care for neighbours and elders, duties to parents and respect to adults! 4. Each pledge was a sacrifice, but the more the children sacrificed, the better they felt....every child was involved voluntarily, and the more they gave, the more their joy! ...i think we need as a government, parents, guardians, people learn some vital lessons here. How many of such tragic losses have we experienced here in Nigeria and yet the victims and their families forgotten....not to talk of remembering the days. Children are not told or taught of what happened, no lessons learnt from these incidents! How do we get such corrected? How do we forestall reocurrence? How do we imbibe the spirit of love for neighbours, elders, parents, etc in these upcoming leaders of tomorrow? This is a clarion call, I pray God restore our nation to the path of righteousness and respect for one another. Amen |
We will not see bigger Nigerians in business, entertainment, industries, etc come out boldly to celebrate this kind of feats now o....but what do they celebrate, who do they choose as brand ambassadors, who do they spend hard currencies on the dullard, they slays, the never-do-wells, the idiots who can dance bare naked, sex in the open. God is looking o |
Honestly i sense a foundation is about to take effect....foundation of women without hubby! |
I think it is a general problem now in Africa. We got an information on Sunday in my company that the submarine fibre optic cable that connects Africa with Europe is cut. You may request your internet service provider(s) to reroute you to an alternative route. |
Seun, I think this is a general problem in Africa. Just this last Sunday we received a message in my coy that the submarine Fibre optic cable that connects Africa to Europe has cut, you may request your internet service provider(s) to reroute you to alternative route if possible. samuelson06:Yes u are right,I could have used other ATM, but all, I mean all are down..I wouldn't know if they met to treat customers like this, but my emphasis is on GTB, cause that is my bank....and honestly the treatment has not been professional or fair |
ATM operations, as done where we copied it from is such that u get to the machines, u get whatever u want and go...no unnecessary waste of productive time. Nigeria is always getting things wrong! think of what happens to that person who is in a rush to get money buy a drug for a ailing child? CBN should come in and right the wrings in ATM operations across the country! if there are five machines in a bank, there is no reason why all should not be adequately loaded so as to meet customer demands. |
mod,pls make this a FP issue, and I wish good-spirited nairalanders continue to help share until something is done....I have been going on to cash money from GTB,sango since on Friday morning, and each time I did, it was either the five machines are not working or just one of if all was working. The human traffic has been incredible! Worst scenario was what happened this night, I went there again on my way from church to try my luck again since I couldn't get money since Friday. Good, three out of the five were working, so I joined the queue, only for a crisis to erupt after one of the machines stopped dispensing, and the people on that side decided to join my queue. Fine, the security man came in to pacify the situation, but as if he had been waiting for this opportunity, he went into the banking hall and what happened was that the last two machines stopped paying. Has it got this worse in Nigeria that even security men can decide for supposed esteemed customers on when to and when not to have access to their money? Are they not the reason for which the bank is still in business? this has to be addressed and stopped! |
Please thank God he didnt die, because na dat one for bad pass. Make im just start to dey head campaign for im mates say make dem desist from this dangerous act, if im well |
