Olutola88:
Union Bank. : Around 215,000
Well, I can tell you for a fact that this figure isn't quite accurate for Union Bank.

Union Bank offers 2.25pa before tax with 0.25 as variable income per annum based on performance. If performance isn't up to par, no variable pay.

2.25million p.a divided by 12 gives 187,500 per month. Deduct tax, pension etc. That leaves around 130 - 150k as take home. All these on a 2years bond worth 2million naira.

I think you are about right with KPMG cos I've got people in there but the beauty of Kong is the bulk payment made to staffs 4times a year (at least 400k is paid twice out of the 4times and that is to fresher).
Cheers

FamilyRe: Sucking On Babies' Nostrils By Mothers/wives - Hygienic Or Not? by pompido: 4:07pm On Jul 16, 2014
Correct one... Did it for my son when he was younger because my mum did it for us all and I saw many mothers do it for their kids.

It is also great for bonding as my wife constantly complains that she thanks God she has a dad else my son would have made her hyper jealous because we close like that.

E easy to dey suck mucus ni? grin

TV01: Hygenic? who cares?

As soon as I spot anything "bubbling" around his nostrils, I vacuum it up like "dyson". Hot or cold, watery, soft or hard.
My boy is used to it. As soon as he sees me lean forward with pursed lips he knows it aint "kissy kissy" time.

He immediately closes his eyes, clenches his fists and instinctively opens his mouth. I don't stop till he starts gasping for breath.
It typically happens when I bathe him in the morning or evening, so straight down the plughole - but I'll "act on sight".

I once did it during his weekly swimming lesson. Come see whooping and cheering (if de bogey enter water, these oyinbos go abandon class 0!). My man is used to it now, oft times he'll just tug my shirt and say "daddy suck nose" grin!

Salt content varies, but can be a great health indicator.

While mummy is looking for "wipe", daddy is doing like "Action Jackson"

Awesome for bonding.

Dem suppose hashtag am sef!

NYSCRe: NYSC 2014 Batch C House by pompido: 11:08pm On Jul 02, 2014
What they have is just a bundled team of staff that handle aspects pertaining to the different campuses but (my conclusion here) do not interface (or prefer not to) with external organizations if they have a choice. JAMB sent admission letters to them and they just put them aside, only the lucky ones that had business there at the time saw the pile and decided to check for theirs. Fast forward a few years later, the same people are asking for the admission letters and telling students without the letters to go to Abuja to get them.

She graduated last year but the school didnt mobilize with the batch A due to ASUU strike or so and yes her name is on the list and we already have her callup number.

Akerry: Firstly, i dont know what u mean by non- dedicated student affairs department...secondly, is she a fresh graduate?<2012/2013 set>..thirdly, was her name on d just released NYSC Batch B list?
NYSCRe: NYSC 2014 Batch B House by pompido: 3:55pm On Jul 02, 2014
Thanks for your response. Well from information gathered from her school and elsewhere, apparently it works that way if you can get the documents to NYSC. I do know how it works once posting is out (I served in Adamawa State some 6years ago) but we are kind of hoping to nip things in the bud and get her posted to our location of choice from the word go hence my request.

Regards

Smeeky: I do not know if posting works like that, but what I can tell you is that your wife will have to go for the 3 weeks camp in the state she will be posted to.

She can go for redeployment in camp with the provision of her marriage certificate, publication of her change of name in any newspaper(I don't know if this still applies).

To safe her some stress, she will have to go with your child. The child will help her avoid the drilling. After the camp, she will be redeployed to your state of residence.

Hope this helps
NYSCRe: NYSC 2014 Batch C House by pompido: 3:51pm On Jul 02, 2014
Thanks for your advice and to answer your questions, yes, the school has been mobilizing before now and her admission was through (a valid admission letter is available). We have been to her department and the school's main campus and the responses were the same. They do not have a dedicated Student's Affairs department and as such do not process requests such as these. We even tried to leverage on the fact that NYSC had sent the school the call up numbers for verification and correction of errors, to send the documents along with the corrected list back to NYSC but they stated it clearly that they do not handle such and told us in very clear terms that we should simply send the documents to abuja.

I hope I have answered all questions satisfactorily and maybe you know understand my request.

Thanks

mr Pero: You will get good n better information from her department. ..
No functional students affairs dept ?
How has the school been mobilising before now ?
How did she gain admission ? Tru remedial studies or JAMB ?
For me going to abuja is like jumping the gun
Go to her department and you will surely get a proper guideline. ..
NYSC mobilization procedures has really
changed
Do the needful: visit the school. .... wish u the best

I need some good advice and info concerning the following:

My wife recently graduated from Osun State University, Oshogbo and is due for the NYSC service year with the Batch B, 2014 set.

We've also got a kid and as such would like to submit all copies of documents stating all these to be true to NYSC for posting purposes, but due to the fact that her school do not have a functioning Students' Affairs division, we were unable to submit all such documents to them for further forwarding to NYSC.

To this end, can anyone furnish me with the details of how to submit all the required documents to Abuja and also the format/process so her posting can be done as deemed fit. I have actually sent a mail to the contact email on the nysc website and to their facebook pages. I actually have someone ready in abuja to help me drop the documents there but we need to know if a letter is required (handwritten or typed) or if all can be sent to an email address. Appreciate all great responses

PhonesRe: Infinix Alpha Phablet Specifications & Review by pompido: 10:55am On Oct 09, 2013
I own this infinix alpha and also own a tecno f7, so I would like to give a few heads up to only those that are interested!

Infinix Mobile is the new mobile company from the once upon a time mobile giant SAGEM and have been steadily trying to make cool stuffs.

I have owned the infinix alpha for 2weeks now and the tecno for over 2months now.

The infinix is a solid phone with great battery life (excellent if I must say). plays all HD games perfectly without lagging and of course sweeter when rooted (which is easily done with a one touch rooting app). camera worried me for a while until I got a hang of it and now it is fantastic. only drawback for me is that it only comes in white for now. games such as DOA, Dungeon hunter 4, asphalt, fifa 14 etc all play sweetly on the bad boy. so for my 46k, I thank infinix (SAGEM) for this and to top it all, the anti-scratch corning gorilla screen is just the bomb. grin

@OP and all, let me share my experience with you all as I rarely post anything.

I married my wife exactly on her 23rd birthday, she was pregnant and in her final year (1st semester). We had discussed it all and agreed to each other's terms before agreeing to have the baby. To be truthful, being pregnant and studying/exams is no child's play but I was supportive all through and would make the over 3hours drive down there every 2 or 3 weeks all in a bid to give her time and space to study properly. When the baby came and "they" grin@OP and all, let me share my experience with you all as I rarely post anything.

When the baby came and "they" resumed back to school, my travelling became every fortnight (get there late Friday and back sunday evening) till she graduated. Things became a lot more settled after that and God has been great!

My advice to you is this, if you are not pregnant yet then I would say you have a heart to heart talk with him and agree on communication and time frame between visits (As the woman, understand that you would do more of the travelling. not being bias here just stating the truth). You should also consider going for contraceptives right away (you would prefer the one that will be inserted into your arm and lasts for about 3 years). this will give u guys enough time to plan your lives as well as enjoy yourselves before the babies start coming.

Once you have all these locked down, by all means go ahead as you are not too young to be married but take a good look at all the components involved before you take the step.

Cheers
