The method I currently trade now is purely continuation pattern. So in case I might not be online when market wanna breeze through my zone, buy/sell stop will help pick it along.

Like this GU trade here, I already set a sell stop before I went offline, I didn't know what I came back to do online. So I deleted it and wanted to wait for the candle closure, only for the candle to close 15pips away from me. Couldn't enter anymore. See the result below. This week ehn. I no go talk.

I stopped taking any Twitter influencer serious when I saw a post from a popular forex 'guru' with over 250K followers advising his mentees to add selling of ebooks and opening of youtube page to supplement their forex trading business because according to him, nobody can make it in forex trading except they add paid mentorship and selling of ebooks

Na from there I run leave twitter for those influencers 🏃‍♂️




One of this days, I will dig up that old tweet, because that post was funny as fuq and to crown everything, his mentees were supporting that statement and I was like wao, this mentees don enter one chance with this guy o 😲

Finally, it has happened; everyone on trustpilot is saying they closed their accounts without reason. I got mine now.

$3K profits gone just like that.

1st time was $9K profits denied
2nd time was $7K denied
Now, $3K gone and $100K funded account closed.

All rules adhered to: 33% rule, 30seconds rule, Average lot size consistency rule, etc. But their reason was other,

I will drop my one star review on trustpilot and say bye to them for life. They are going down, their star is now 3 or less

I think it all boils down why you join this line of business in the first place. Money is important, but that was not the major reason I joined. I joined because I want to understand this business and create a career in it too.

For someone that joined to make money solely, that's why they fall prey to some scammers disguising as traders. If you can't use your head, someone will use it for you against you.

Reason why I didn't start and never made use of any indicators, forex signal groups, etc. If you are a pro, show me your trade calls, I won't take it but I wanna know why you are taking it instead so as to learn from it. I know money will come once the art of trading is mastered, so I'm never bothered to make money at my learning stage.

August will make it a year I joined, hopefully I will have bought and pass my second prop account by then. So I can fully come back and scream it so loud again that "Forex is so easy", those mofos here on FTA that are always irked when they hear that statement can go hug the nearest transformer, I give a rat a.ss.

I took a screenshot of this last week when @thissdax posted it on his IG story, that's my motivation. He said he started trading 2022, and started being profitable 1st quarter last year. See where he is now. Don't stop and get active.

July will make it a year I started learning how to trade. I followed the same route as you(no signal group) had to learn everything on my own which takes time of course and very painful too

No bi lie. And as them dey cash out thousands of dollars reach, them still dey creep enter my dm to ask me how is forex treating me and want to sell one thing or the other.

I begin dey wonder if them really dey cashout all the withdrawal certificates they post every minutes, cos you can't be making such money from trading for yourself and still be trying to sweep in a mere $5 or $15 from a lousy sale (signal)

They nearly killed me . Everybody there is Prime George Soros/Market Makers. Since I started avoiding most of them that I began to see some noticeable changes with my trading. I only follow Capital Hungry for fundamentals.

The biggest traders I have ever seen ,ranging from Future trading, Forex,Stock and Crypto don't even know what is ICT.They all focus on particular patterns with repetitive mindset and habits. Please, you can also try adding additional 10pips to your SL under/above your mapped support/resistance because I've seen it happend so many times during this my short duration, one long annoying wick striking the SR before moving towards the intended direction. You won't want to be stopped out because of a tight SL, before market heads towards your TP.

Or instead of adding additional pips to your SL, you can just wait for market to move against your point of entry by the additional pips before entering. Most traders set SLs too close around the SR, most traders are not profitable, we have to do things slightly differently to become more profitable. We'll get there one way or the other; we can only hope to get there sooner than expected.
