Read standard materials (aldaily.com , newyorker, new York times, economist and above all Wikipedia.com) on Wikipedia when you practice and see a frequent topic eg women rights, astronomy, international trade, book criticism, industrial revolution, and this black American guy that died in Ghana that fought for blacks (I can't remember his name now) etc... Read anything that comes to mind fully.

3. When you read try to form gre questions to what you read and give a specific answer to it.

4. Most RCs have patterns, main idea, scope and purpose and supports... E.g nairaland.com is for information (main idea), nairaland.com is easily accessible and meets required needs (scope), there is a thread that helps with better gre performance (purpose), SirRiddy got high scores using nairaland.com...

Imagine this question what is the primary purpose of following the gre thread

1. Like sirRiddy, to help people get high scores
2. To show that nairaland.com is also as accessible like cnn.com
3. To improve the standard of gre test takers
4. To help gre test takers achieve better scores
5. To help in sharing information amongst recent gre takers

Naija MSc Is very valid, valid when you do tangible research and have at least a paper to show for it, because it's no longer UG were most projects don't get published, I know of friends brother, presently in Texas he got 320 in gre, he did his masters in u.i and got a 20k dollars fellowship, he has published 2 papers.... It's not only by GPA... Research is koko sef

please those that has gotten admitted can help out by probably creating a google form, saw one on the new gre now i cant get my hands on it, it can guide people through choosing of schools.

A spreadsheet that shows your profile, materials you used in preparation, schools you chose, schools you got admitted to, schools you got rejected, reason for reject, where you got funding and where you didnt get and so on.

It would be helpful.

Use the file section, search for other Facebook groups, I joined like 2 more closed groups, and also search for files you don't have, those Indian guys are quantitative bias so you should study verbal and awa well.

Majority of them pay for magoosh, they buy Manhattan tests and new books, they space their exams a minimum of 6-7months, they attend gre prep schools, they try as much as possible to get ahead of the test.

Don't join and be a lucozade, read, ask them for access to tests, online portals, materials etc

This page has been really helpful and has kept a lot of us on track, from preparation to application, and other stuff, but we need some things clearly defined, explained or highlighted If it's with a 4 or 5 paragraph post.

1. How to search for schools, danjaninja said he would post this, I have been waiting on it and I'm still waiting.
2. How to know how affordable enrolling in a school is and how to estimate their assistance or scholarship
3. Difference between in-state tuition and out-state tuition and how they apply.
4. A chronological guide from the Gre and TOEFL e.g (gre-application-mailing-transcript) and a guide on statement of purpose / intent.
5. The estimated amount one should sought for after getting admitted to a school and general finance bants.

You guys should leave men hanging after taking the gre.

SirRiddy asides from the view scores link on the gre website, how can you view your awa performance, and know how you arrived at your average score, because score I see no be for here oooooooh

Please I'll like to know the economical method for sending of transcript to different schools, some schools require evaluation, some doesn't.

I also noticed some schools waive toefl for Nigerian students, some schools have a minimum score GRE and they waive Toefl, while most have a certain score and lay emphasis on speaking for G. A and T. A.

Please my people that have passed this stage advice a brother

For those who are yet to write an need an online resource, you can try Kaplan online resource, it's free sef, just register,go to kaptest.com/booksonline the answer to the question for GRE premier 2016 is text. Make use of the quiz and the full MST tests which includes experimental sections and the practice set. Towards the exam you can set your quiz level to hard and use study mode not testing mode... And use Princeton to know how you stand in awa they mark awa, if you know someone who has bought any of Manhattan book, 4th edition u can use it too to gain access to their full tests, discovered when it was late, same way you would need an answer in the book, just a single word
