Just last week, I got a request immediately I dropped off a rider at VGC , and the next rider confirmed she was going to Anthony. I needed to top up. I had to plead to her that I'm buying fuel at the heyden ( at the gate) but I'm not starting the trip till I got the fuel. She gladly said "no" that I should start the trip immediately.
Professionally, it is wrong buying fuel while taking rider on trip. We were even told not to do that in d training session. Who is going to pay the rider for the time wasted?.every thing depends on ur approach

I picked up these two animals who think they have sense. This foolishh woman put "her pickup" as her destination and of course it will be a "Short minutes trip" on Uber server because it is within her area. That means it wont be more than 500 naira!

This woman immediately she was about entering my car was saying something like Oshaprapra.. Maybe coz my car was very neat. Or maybe in her myopic mind, she has caught new meat. Lol.

The woman is all these paga representative and it seems she wants to visit all the paga agents within her area on a trip of 500 with only one trip! Smart and Dumb Iddiot!

We went to the first agent and spent 10 minutes, went to the second one and spent 5 minutes... We started to go on the 3rd one... I was already laughing in my mind. Las Las... An Animal will be taught a lesson. She even told me its her money and can keep me as long as she likes. Me already know that am not commitin kilometers because am still within one area and wasting time!

I simply told her no problem. I put on my taxify app and went online as she was discussing with the 3rd agent. Who said that God is not alive? Small time Gbam Gbam Gbam Gbam. I accepted.

Me: Hello Sir. Good afternoon. You requested a trip. Where to?

Rider: Hope you can go to Lekki?

Me: Say no more Sir. Even if you want me to tumble to Lekki now, I will.

I quickly ended the Uber trip and saw 550 as my money! After 25 minutes!

I simply wind down my glass and told the woman:

Oshaprapra shagbukwa gi dia. Basstard!

I march my throttle with force and started disappearing.

She was just shouting Olorun or something as I left.

Greetings to anyone reading this, please pardon my grammatical errors as I bare my heart in this write up. We live in a down floor flat in a three storeyed building and as you know how most compounds in Surulere is without space, ours is surrounded by other tall buildings so to get fresh air especially at night is zero possible.
The state Government has not been forthcoming with pipe borne water these days despite knowing how important water is to human life, the power supply company are making it harder too, you go to bed at night, you won't sleep well due excess heat, you won't see water to at least bath throughout the night to keep cool till morning.
This has been going on in our area in Surulere around Itire/Ishaga. Last night, I thought I was going to die oh God!! We have generator set but the engine is very faulty and very expensive to repair besides, we can't be spending money on fuel on daily basis coupled with the fact that there are other expenses at home to run.
Last night, I was awake till 3am dot, I kept fanning myself and sweating profusely, at a point, I felt I was loosing my breath, I stood up, laid down, sat down, I did everything I could to feel OK but to no avail, my hand was aching me too.
I slept off for about 12minutes only to suddenly jerk up from bed and feel sweat running down my face and body like a cup of water was poured on me hmm.. The mattress was soaked at different sections and I couldn't lie down on it again. The one that scared me most was that I observed that fluid came up into my mouth from my stomach and I rushed to go and spill it out, dehydration too, I kept drinking water and trying to stay alive.
By exactly 3am dot, they brought the light, I wasn't feeling happy because there was no morale for excitement anymore but I finally managed to sleep off, i woke up again as they took it by past 4 again till now. I sleep by 3 or 4 almost every night and I am feeling frustrated. I felt I should share it, I am tired, God please help me, I am always scared once the night approaches on daily basis.. The Government should help the masses with light and water for healthy living.

A lady has been arrested for stabbing her neighbor to death, following a verbal exchange, this morning, at Oke ira, Ajah, Lagos.

According to other neighbors, the suspect, identified as Uche, is in the habit of verbally assaulting her co-tenants.

Trouble started around 5a.m today, when the victim was brushing her teeth and Uche started singing abusive songs directed at her.

After getting no response, the suspect then went ahead to splash dirty water at the exact place the lady was brushing, thus triggering a reaction.

In the course of their verbal exchanges, the husband of the deceased cautioned her before he went out to work.

However, minutes later, when the lady was taking her kids to the bathroom, Uche stabbed her in the stomach, eventually leading to her death.

I picked a rider from agungi to local airport, at dropoff, this ensued between me n her.
Rider: is there an ATM here cos I don't have enough cash on me and I cant do transfer.
Me: there are ATMs inside but I can't park here to wait you, its a strictly dropoff point.
Rider: let me take my luggage, then go inside to use the ATM while you go turn. I would have been done by the time you're back.
Me: but you have to leave one of the luggage behind.
Rider: I can't run away cos of #3600
Me: changes face n voice... Madam I said you should leave one of the luggage behind while I turn.
Rider quickly oblidged and I moved to turn, came back to meet her standing with my money.
Rider: pls don't do that again.
Me: do what?
Rider: The way you quickly switched mood and.....
Me: turns head to the other side and moved away.

I no wan teach you bad things Br, but look for another person with a valid driver's license then let the person attend the training session for you. Then add your car details plus the inspection report to the account you are good to go.

Good day house, please I need your sincere advice. I just want to get a Toyota Corolla 2011 and I want to put it into Uber service, but I don’t want to be the driver, I heard from a friend that Uber can get a driver for me and pay me weekly but the car will be in their care. I want to know how much they will pay me weekly and is it advisable. What is the pros and con. Please I am new at this and I just don’t want to go into it without proper understanding of it. Please help a brother. Thanks so much
