No, what I mean is that Felicity too may not have known the full extent of the damage in d car if it actually looked good physically. So we can't completely blame him for marketing and selling a bad car. It's possible he also was deceived, plus the fact that Fasasi's mechanic came along, then we can't completely crucify Felicity for the discoveries afterwards.

To the issue at hand, Let's say you're an agent. I want to buy a car and contact you, the owner of the car told you the price is 650k last but because you know people will always like to bargain, you tell me it's 800k.

I come to you and price the car to 750k and you tell me to bring money. I pay you 750k and pick up the car. What will you do with the remaining 100k? Will you give it to the car owner that you sold it at 750k or you'll give it to the buyer?

PS: I'm not saying this is what happened here. I'm just asking you a hypothetical question.

When you hear agent tell landlord to jerk house rent, it is for the good of their own commission. I will not buy anything and pay the agent, I'll rather let go. The mechanic I brought said it's a good car, even he was saying the money is too much and Felix should reduce the money but I told him I trusted Felix judgement and because he was running mouth and telling me I can't spend more than 100k to fix, I decided to choose Felix over the mechanic. Even the person was saying Felix should give us some days we want to verify the documents and call the real owner but he said he has done that already.


Inclusion, Felix mechanic said Felix know the condition of the car before he sold it out, now, when you know the car is a problematic car why did you decided to add outrageous amount on it ?? I ended up spending more than my budget.

Bros you picked the wrong mech, no doubt about that. Sound engine does not translate to general condition of a car. A sound Benx for 800k tells red flag all around it. I was to sell an RX 350 (2010) just 4 days ago, the buyer sent his mechanic down without coming himself. He said once his mechanic says car is Okay, he will forward money to us. Mechanic came and saw and pointed out what he's not fair with on the car and I told him it's fixable but no problem the price (70%) for changing those parts will be deducted. Mechanic now said Bros wetin you go give me make I for certify this car good to go?

There and then from experience I know this deal will break my neck. So you see... The problem here is YOUR MECHANIC. You trusted his judgement, as a seller, you'd do anything to sell your item especially to the highest bidder.

What I am not sure of is...

Is it the 50k agent fee?
The 150k top up?
The car is bad?
Or car is not good for 800k?

What is really the problem here?

When approaching Felicity, is he doing so in sense of help or business? Was the car a bad one? Why didn't he take the car to his mech rather then that of Felicity? The little relationship they share, what was his perception from the onset?

1. Did you allow him check the car himself before payment?

2. Did you agree on agency fee of 50k?

On the matter, we can all talk this out as a brother. I was kind of disappointed in felicity and as a elder, I expect him to address Fasasi's concerns with some level of wisdom.
