eyinola: Hoodlums driver don full this indriver ooo, ino even dey see trip pick again like before chaiii, those driver no dey try study the trip at all, before I say make I look well pick fiam e don go Positioning and mindset... have in mind places you want to go and where you might probably get the trip from. Use one high price to know price to see how drivers are dragging trip. The one you are certain the rider won't take, then use your tongue to count your teeth and understand the area you area. Pointless trying to be giving unnecessary price where you have like 10 drivers dragging a trip. E.g Yaba to Berger is from 2600 to 3000 and on a sweet day maybe 3500. If you see 2800, why don't you juse leave the zone, rather then spend another undefined time because of 200. Mostly, if you pick trip and notice other driver's head are already there. The trip is likely not yours. You are far from the PU. |

Bro you need to chill and stop jumping into conclusions. May the Lord honour you, more fuel to your car. Can't keep up with dude twisting again. You will be talking A, he will be dancing towards B. Up to this day he is yet to tell us how he did 11k within his said time frame. He is yet to tell us how Musa was able to achieve such feet within a year and few months. The guy just talk recklessly and if you school him, he will turn it to success battle... how he is buidling house in Banana island and refinery in Warri. Humblesteve hope you'v seen why I always tackle him. False information can mislead folks. No one is saying there's no money in ehailing, but it is not a walk pass atall. Well, I will leave him for now, let anyone that wants to believe his tales jump into conclusion with him. I need to focus more on the 16 rooms mansion I'm building around Ikoyi. |

tojahh: I thought Musa was a gateman. A gateman we know works 24/7, a Nigerian gateman acts as both a messenger and a car wash man. How he was able to leave these duties and face moving Lagos up and down without break for 1 year and he got a Toyota Matrix is still a wonder.
By the way .. I thought it was 2k that he was saving everyday how did it amass to 1.7m in one year to buy a Matrix?
I am not understanding.

Pearl1910: I have made my point. You are the one that said 10k Net is okay for u, that's ur target. So 2k daily savings is ur level. Little drops of water make a mighty ocean, u call it peanut but If u did that for 2yrs you for don get spare 1m untorced to add money and upgrade from that ur present car. When Cheerfulgiver posted 900k earnings for one month, did it convert u? No! So why are u calling for evidence. There is absolutely no need for it for u. U guys don't like progress because it has eluded u. So even if I show u all d evidence u need, u will still ignore it and make jest of something else. Like u say; u come here to ease stress and make jokes. So I leave u to it. I am not against jokes but when it touches someone's nerves I respect myself and stop. The day barbiturate said we should address him by name and not ikejaman was d day I stopped, d other day I made a joke with Readadream, but he wasn't liking it and I apologized immediately.
Now, you made 28k yesterday, put it away and assume u have nothing, today go out again and Hussle. If u do that 5days in a week, u will have 100k Net. 2days for rest, breakdown or repairs is enough. Even if u spend 50k weekly u can comfortably save 50k a week. If u haven't made ur target then u work 1extra day to cover up. Don't tell me car repairs can come and sweep all ur savings because some days u will make way more than that. I Net 90k on some weekends alone. But let's still be conservative and leave it at 100k Net earnings a week. Some weeks u will make more and some weeks u will make less. So if u can just save 50k a week in a year that's over N2m. Isn't that not enough to buy a car every year? U can have a million and one reasons for not being able to achieve this for the many years u have been on the job but non is my fault. U can believe whatever u want to believe and jest all u like, that doesnt stop people who are making it to continue cresting. I haven't driven in 3weeks now because I am working on a project building a business; but as soon as I hit the road again, ur pessimism will not stop me from grossing min 150k in a week. Sometimes I gross as much as 250k in a week. If u are waiting for evidence u go grow bear bear. But if u want information ask politely except u lack manners; then forever live in oblivion.
U r begining to sound like a retard because in one breath u acknowledge all these and that u even make so much money too but yet in another breath u r questioning it's possibility. I will not ask anybody to come to Nairaland and give u testimony, if u have failed to see the testimonies of known monickers on this thread how will u believe that of a stranger? I am not in competition with anybody here, so I have no reason to give false narrative. I tell u what I have done by myself, so as to encourage others that it's possible if they try. But I know that when a man succeeds, he makes friends and enemies. I will continue to drop contents here, and my contents are progressive, if they are chocking u or giving u a heart attack you need to check yourself, maybe u don chop winch u should go for delievance in MFM, Baale street or u drive go Prayer City. Pearl you are disturbing me, I have to cut zoom meeting with Dangote now so it doesn't look like I am being rude. Firstly, I'll pick it from Musa, did he got his Matrix thro all the story you wrote here? I am not the only one seeking to understand this fairy tales. Tojahh, Baz001 and more are asking same question. Why attacking only me? I'll still go back to what you said about him starting out after lockdown and your stupid analysis. Lock down was eased with particular hours we were meant to stay outside, which is 8pm. So let's assume Musa a starter ooo is grossing 135k weekly, even tho he have to close by 8pm. As a starter Musa understood all Lagos route, he never ran into any issues with the authorities (use your head to ask how normal you are, for trying to want folks to believe this). Now Musa is netting 100k from 135k. He pays the car owner 30k and gas maybe 25k, that's 55k week in, week out with 45k left for Musa. Inside this 45k, he will take care of his family responsibility from far and still feed. Let's assume Musa drove for a year and half which roughly enabled him to save 1.5 million. Uncle is 1.5m enough to buy Matrix, rent house and relocate family. Where was Musa living all these while, since he has shift based from being a gateman? Pearl I honestly don't want to be jumping figures with you cos you keep showing your dumbness. Same you that said you go out early, and before night fall you are back home is grossing 250k some week. Divide that by your so called 5 days. Literally you are grossing 50k per day. Pearl fear God nah? On bended kneel I am begging you. Rest from all these lies, what is the gain for you being this mischievous? I'm lost for real. If I want to buy car, I can go do window shopping and end up driving it home. Went through hell and back dude. I have my side hustle, but driving gat me for now. It just sicken the mind that you try to compare my experience with Musa. That's an insult... on Salah day, I didn't even bother myself going to the Island. That's experience you grow to learn on this hustle. Mainland is always the hub on festive period. Yesterday I was in Kusenla rd around 5pm. Regular driver will stay put and be waiting for trip. I am already on 21k trying to find my way home. In those early days, the only thing in my mind will be from there to VI is 1500, why waste gas. I'll rather stay put and be praying for trip to mainland, which may never come. What's experience? Ask yourself questions like... how much do you need more to make a satisfactory day? For example 4k to make it 25k is ok. And where can I get the trip around that time? 5pm! That should VI, because people just closed and will need to get back home. Being in Iketa is just pushing luck. So I set to VI... on approachin main phase 1 gate? A trip from Oniru market 1300. Rush it and use Oniru estate to connect destination (1004). As I was dropping another trip to Onike for 3300 and from there CMD for 3000 again. Pearl you can't undervalue experience in this hustle. If experience does not matter, drivers won't be rushing ibeju for 5k from mainland, drivers won't be rushing to pick trip that will send them on exile for the rest iof the day. ShollyWendy barely spend up to 3pm on the road. He used to live in Gbagada where Island is sure for him in the morning. Regardless, he drove down to Enyo 4th road about to be at the center, where he can easily have access to cover Chevron to Providence parameter for a reasonable trip. He barely use 3k gas to make 15k. I introduced him to Indriver, he also gave me insight on importance of Island. Pearl rest abeg, you and I no be mate for this game... I jonz naturally, I don't have any stress or worries in my body. I am blessed and hopeful inbetween. Those stuffs ain't meant for social media consumption. What bind us is ehailing, that is if you are a driver. As you can see you have not driven for 3 weeks, like I told someone. A regular driver that went thro Lagos stress won't have much time to reply all text like you and my guess is right. Let's just leave all as ehailling, stop bugging me with your private business. The little ehailling we entrusted you with, you killed it with lies and I careless bigmanism attitude. How am I supposed to believe anything you say again? |

If you are that smart, you won't be puttung one app down for the other. Riders prefer Indriver for long distance trips. Ask those living ard Sangotedo what's their morning get away to town? I smile why Glitchronix was looking for Island trip on Bolt this morning, but end up getting Ikorodu. Indrive could have given him nothing less then 10 Island trips from Ketu to Ogudu axis with a good pay.
I won't say Ikorodu is not a good place, nah! I just don't have a good memory on that zone, slept my best car sleep during my Ikorodu days. I remember the day I almost bought a pillow at that same zone. |

Pearl1910: Pope191 the chief propagandist. You guys know I don't like discrimination whether by tribe, religion or social class. It's not everything people should use to joke.
Why would u think an ordinary uneducated northerner cannot also make something useful of his life, work hard and be a responsible family man? Why would u have a perceived mental picture of someone and judge the person solely by that mental picture without even meeting the person before? U think u r the only one that has a right to have dreams? to have achievements, and wants to live a better life?? U think u r created differently or specially and some other people are lesser than u There is a difference in making side jokes and outrightly demeaning and invalidating someone else whether the person is aware of it or not. Don't cancel, undermine or underestimate a person for no reason.
Secondly, They say common sense is not common and maturity is not about age. So I would only appeal that we sort for common sense and grow into maturity irrespective of our age. If u have doubts about what u hear, respectfully seek for further clarification or information, don't ask in a condescending or mocking manner and expect answers. Don't run ur media with half stories and twisted facts. Because, I keep emphasizing this is a public forum where ur post will remain forever as long as this platform exist, it's not a WhatsApp group that chats can be deleted or beer parlor gathering that people don't take serious, it's not a meeting that we can see your face and know when u r serious or joking. New and old members, guest and passerby take home lessons and points from here and as such u cannot afford to make common or joke with real life experiences or achievements of actors in the business. Don't mislead people.
There are over 20,000 drivers on ehailing in Lagos alone. Don't for ones think u know it all or u have experienced it all or u know the capacity of a driver or what is obtainable and what is not. Manage ur own capability and capacity and bear in mind that people are bursting points that are considered ceilings for u. What u cannot achieve is chicken feed for others (U can use sports as a compass) Just like u easily Net 10k daily, there are people wishing they could be like u. In ur mind u have arrived, until u see people who Net 20k, 25k, 30k daily. Just do as ur power can carry, don't kill urself, don't say someone is lying because it is impossible for you to do it. Education, exposure and enlightenment is meant to open up our minds, don't be educated and still have a concave mentality, it will be unfortunate. This applies to all other aspects of life. I honestly want to make a joke out of the gibberish you wrote, but on the second thought let me help you. I knew you'll shift goal post as usual. Like peak it's in you. How do one demean who he doesn't know or ever seen? You are a silent killer. It's not today I've noticed that attitude in you. Bishop once called you double mouth and you are really living up to the name. You have your way of trying to type twist, while shying away from the mean subject. At no point did I demeaned or discriminate any tribe, religion or social - culture. All good jokes they say it contain some elements of truth, just as Kanuisagoat said yesterday... driving is stressful and the little time we laugh here ease stress. Please how many driver here really enjoy the sallah break? How many have been able to go on a vacation during December break? It is just crazy when you and your likes sum things you do as well and next you start tagging people to it. I'll start with common sense as you say. If there's any atom of common sense in you as your try to make believe, you won't come online as a confusionist. You won come online with half baked information. Gosh! Every body that quote figures here, do add a pictorial evidence. Imagine Cheerfulgiver come out here to say he made 900k in a month without a proof, please how many people is going to believe him? Do you think I have forgotten the day you claimed to do 11k from mainland to the island within an unfeasible period? As fate will have it, I was also on that same route and can 100% tell there was traffic on that said day. Davit is a complete gentle man, but silently he bares me witness as I got to see him on 3rd mainland bridge on that said day. Same you came out here to say people pay 300k monthly for proof of funds. That's a silly thing to say. Same you said your neighbours gate man got a car on rental after covid. Lock down was declared on March 30 2020 and we all know how many months we observed sit at home. Here you said someone without any firsthand experience got a car on a rental and within the period of a year and few months bought a Matrix, rent a house and relocate his family. Uncle defend how this happened, damn respect! It is earned, you will get it if you deserve it. If you are truly out to help people as claimed, give them the formular and dont say 2k savings everyday. That will really get me mad at you tonight. Everytime you try to play my figures down, I turn it to blast. 28k plus in the bag today. Dont shy away from real issues and start playing politics of pity. Wake up, no one passess wrong information on this platform more than you. No one tell lies on this platform more than you. I am for real, I don't mix words and I don't shy away from saying things raw. And at no point did I act know it all. Many times I have car issues and I bring it here. Even you with fleets of cars never had car issues. I can't even remember the last time you ask question uncle Solo. Damn! You are to petty for my liken... don't think I wanna do this. I just dislike folks that tells lie. Night man |

Glithronix: If roads are good, you can hit big as an e-hailing driver, cos there would be less traffic everywhere. Roads are getting worse day by day, traffic keeps increasing as a result of that, that's why it's kinda bit difficult to hit it big. Assuming I have been driving on any e-hailing platform before now ni, I for don retire tey tey cos I know I for don achieve things to move on. Fuel price inflation - bad roads - traffic is what we are facing today. Those of you who have been in the hustle like 5 years ago no get any excuse to give us newbie for not owning a house in at least Ikorodu. I have padis who built houses in Ikorodu from this bolt hustle (though they own their cars). The person paying milla yearly for house rent fit dey talk true, if na him get him ride. Lagos is depreciating, na wetin dey affect us today be that. Make all roads good first, make dem come see real money making on e-hailing. But which year we go reach that stage? Need to drive back to my area cos I no fit waste this last SET DESTINATION button I have left for today - too early for that and I no trust staying online in this Ikorodu. Much respect, boss.
