It would make sense politically for Atiku to pick his VP from the Southwest. That would help split the Southwest votes between Atiku and Buhari. Atiku is expected to carry the Southeast, Southsouth and Middlebelt. The Northwest, Northeast and the rest of the North Central would be shared.
The Southeast would be compensated with powerful positions like the SGF.
We should be ready to make any sacrifice that is needed to kick out tribalist Buhari in 2019.
