Gov Ortom needs to resign immediately. He is definitely not fit for office of the Governor of a State. I am surprised that Benue State Government still have not organized an effective armed militia to defend his people against the Fulani killers and their military backers.

I don't think the collusion of the Army with the herdsmen is an official policy of the Army. Rather, it is Fulani (and probably Kanuri and others sympathetic to the ethnic cleansing agenda of the Fulani) within the military that are colluding with the Fulani killers.
You should read the report released by Dr Doyin Okukpe on the Fulani herdsmen issue.

I'm sure you read about the incident in Edo State where the vigilante arrested some Fulani herdsmen that were robbing road users. Some soldiers drove up and killed the vigilante guy and freed the Fulani herdsman.
