OkoYibo: The government needs to do something before it's too late. It is already late to bring back lost lives but not too late to prevent losing others. So you want the same government that is sponsoring the killings to do something to stop the killings? Wonderful. The people of Benue State need to take up arms against the Fulani killers (and their Nigerian Army backers). If the Igbos were able to take up arms to defend themselves, I don't see why Benue State people cannot do same, with all those serving and retired military personnel from Benue. |

Because I'm yet to see any reduction in the activities of these Fulani herdsmen foreigners in Benue and Taraba So you think they went there to reduce the activities of the Fulani killers? Of course they went there to disarm the people and give the Fulani killers an upper hand. |

As for Igbos on this thread wishing evil on the middle belt your minds are simply horrible. The generation of youths growing in the middle belt today do not hate you, we are not our fathers. We refuse to accept blame for the sins of our fathers. I have always viewed issues about the South East with compassion due to perceived marginalisation. However most of you are outright heartless! What do you really know about being heartless? If you experienced what the Igbos went through during the civil war, at the hands of your really heartless and brutal people, you will be singing a different tune. |

Well, tribalist Buhari and his Fulani cabal have demonstrated that they have evil agenda for Nigeria. Their evil strategy to corner Nigeria for the Fulani via the so called cattle colony has failed. We still have to be very vigilant to ensure they don't try to achieve their agenda via ranching. The establishment of cattle ranches should be controlled by the State governments and should be a private enterprise. Otherwise Buhari and his evil cabal will use FG money to acquire land, move in the Fulani who will later violently rise up and wipe out host communities. The States with stupid and naive Governors should watch out, especially in the SE, SS, and Middlebelt; thinking about Kogi, Plateau, Ebonyi. |

Lastly, common sense would also ask why; what could be the motive; what could the NA or the supposed individuals involved gain from such dastardly act? You are obviously naive. |

ennysuccess: The Nigerian Army has every tribe as its officers..... Its therefore logical to know that the allegations are false..... How will Igbo man or the Benue people among the troop's agree with herdsmen to kill people?..... Some people will be splitting rubbish thinking everyone is as stupid as they are..... Believe me all this Benue this n that is politics..... Election is just around the corner.... More also army camouflage are in the market.... We have seen bokoharam, armed robber, militants used it severally...... Now if NA decide to back off now when there is attack next they will say they didn't respond..... When their hardwork isn't appreciated..... The Benue people are very wicked set of people in Nigeria..... Biafra says it all..... Even those living in other States are full of crimes like robbery, jealousy, black magic, prostitution etc...... Let's wise up Nigeria..... God bless the NA...... God bless Nigeria I don't think the collusion of the Army with the herdsmen is an official policy of the Army. Rather, it is Fulani (and probably Kanuri and others sympathetic to the ethnic cleansing agenda of the Fulani) within the military that are colluding with the Fulani killers. You should read the report released by Dr Doyin Okukpe on the Fulani herdsmen issue. |

grandstar: Absolutely not true.
The Fulani usually hire mercenaries to do this dirty work and they are masters of war.
I very much suspect that the mercenaries most likely work in collaboration with rogue elements in the army to perpetuate these crimes.
The army is well structured and mixed tribally so it is hard to believe the army can successfully collude with these Fulani murderers I guess we should believe you rather than Gen T. Y. Danjuma? |

progress69: There is a serious campaign of calumny against the Nigerian Army sponsored by some useles unpatriotic politicians in the opposition, who are bent on making the President because his is Fulani look sympathetic to killer militias sponsored by the same group. Just keep shut there. Is it a coincidence that the security apparatus of the country is controlled by one section of the country in a multi-ethnic country like Nigeria? I hope the killing by the Fulani, aided by the Fulani cabal in the Army, reaches your community so that your eyes will clear up. |

SamuelAnyawu:
Military Uniforms can be used by those savages. Bokoharam also use Lafiya Dole Uniforms So how do you explain the fact that after each attack by Fulani killers, the Army would show up and start arresting and disarming the local vigilantes instead of chasing the Fulani killers. I'm sure you read about the incident in Edo State where the vigilante arrested some Fulani herdsmen that were robbing road users. Some soldiers drove up and killed the vigilante guy and freed the Fulani herdsman. |
