danie09: So many primitive comments here. Us and it allies actually have fired over 200missiles on Syria and guess what!!!? The are not even done yet... So for some of you guys to speak of Russia's superiority by helping Assad shoot down about a dozen missiles out of several hundred shows how little you know.
And if you want to know if those bombs hits target Or were intercepted just do a Google Search on it right now and you will realize how much damage they have caused already.
https://www.liveleak.com/view?t=kcfeY_1523668862
That's Damascus skyline, I mean thats what the sky above the city where Assad and all his cabinet members lives looks like.
Joseph Dunford, Washington's top general, said the "precision strikes" hit three targets: A scientific research centre near Damascus that is allegedly connected to the production of the chemical weapons; a chemical weapons storage facility near Homs; a command post near the capital.
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2018/04/syria-air-strikes-latest-updates-180414021423479.html
And to those who needs a little knowledge Russia knew an attack was imminent and yet couldn't do anything to stop it. In fact they knew the targets and the best they could do was to evacuate ahead And by the way don't be deceived thinking this is just the US UK and France alone at work. It's the whole almighty NATO Plus ISRAEL and of course SAUDI-ARABIA (inclusive of all their Sunni Arab allies) at work right now.
Even israel alone frequently hits targets in Syria whenever they feel like i mean they have killed hundreds of Iranian and Hezbollah mercs in Syria with their air strikes and there's nothing almighty Putin could do about it .
If Russia's military might is that top notch like ya'll claim then how come they plus the Iranians and hezbollah haven't been able to help assad kill all the syrian rebels and jihadists by now?
Moral of the story is the WEST strikes whenever the WEST want to strike and when the WEST strikes the WEST doesn't miss!!! And you are happy, especially with your last statement? |

We all had a similar argument 15 years ago. Before invasion of Iraq. Many said USA will crush Iraq in no time.
My argument was crush Saddam and his army yes, but replace him with whom? Who will stabilize Iraq after the war? It sounded like a rhetorical question then.
How will Muslims worldwide (aside US allies in the Gulf) react to invasion of Iraq? Only few took my question seriously.
Well, we all now know better. Terrorism ballooned and still raging till now. Including ISIS, AQIM, Boko Haram, etc.
Again after all these new strikes and possible quicker exit of Assad, what will happen to Syria that is already battered? 15 to 20 years of further civil war to rival Somalia? Libya is still there as a recent reminder.
Only time will tell. And Trump was already trying to run out of Syria before some clever devils, probably Israel, staged the chemical attack to keep America from leaving. |

How are we sure the so called chemical attack eminated from the syrian govt and nit jihadist to curry support from the west? Of course, it's obvious that the chemical attack was staged, probably by Israel to get America to stay involved in the Syrian war. Trump had announced that he will pull US out. Syria had no reason to use chemical weapon since they are already winning. I hope Russia responds appropriately to the aggression from the US, France and Britain. |

This is the same Assad Obama and the witch, Hillary Clinton tried to remove from power without success thanks to Putin. Why do they want Assad out of power so desperately? Havent they learn from Iraq and Libya war debacle? The sooner America realized that Asad and Putin are not the problem, the better for them. How can they focus all their attention on little Syria when the bigger problem, Saudi Arabia is there sponsoring terrorist activities all over the middle east? Look at Yemen, what is American govt doing about the atrocities of Saudi Arabia in that country? Leaving the snake to chase a small rat will spell doom for peace efforts in middle east. It's all about oil and gas. They want to be able to lay gas pipelines through Syria to Europe and Assad is not having any of that. |

It's about time Russia stood up to the bully US and put them in their place. It's wrong to use the chemical weapon on civilians. However I doubt that Syria did it. The US backed rebels could have done it (with help from the CIA) in order to get help from the West. Moreover, the USA have also been blindly supporting wanton killings of the Palestinians by Israeli soldiers. Hypocrites. Would love to see US take on their match for a change. |

They are not far from the truth. If Buhari gets a second term, he will openly unleash his Fulani terrorists on Nigerians to actualize his goal of putting Nigeria under complete Fulani domination. This will of course be violently resisted by the SE, SS, MB, and to some extent, some parts of SW. This will result in the disintegration of Nigeria. I was once married to a violent psychotic man, but if u see him, u will feel he's an angel won't hurt a fly. He can pretend infront of people and strangers as the best husband any woman can ever wish for. But at home, he's a demon incarnate. He detest peace. Family and everyone were saying I should stay. What will people say? I will be called second hand, we did it in a flamboyant way, please don't leave him. It's for better for worse. I went back home to him, not to stay but to carry all my belongings and escape on a day he would have traveled for business. So I simply kept clear from him I became a robot , quiet and all. I will only talk if he ask me any questions. Until the day he travelled for biz. Within an hour, have already called a taxi. I left his cars, I called taxi, packed my stuffs and off I went. I dropped his house keys with maiguard, . I also left a note on the dinning. It's over between us and never ever u try contact me or try looking for me., Or else I will pour hot water on you! Devilish man! And don't worry the dowry will be returned back to your family soon. Goodbye!
Maiguard was like madam, where u dey go? I replied am travelling. Give Oga the keys. Oya driver let's go I went back to my parents house. Thank God my mum understood me and where I was coming from. My dad was angry at first. I then told my dad, daddy if u drive me back. I swear u will receive both of our corpses on this house. Cause I won't stay idle while he kills me. So choose! As I looked at him Defiantly . He looked at me, shook his head and said OK. You know what u are doing, I said yes! I know what am doing it's over! He shrugged and walked away. We returned his dowry to his family. He couldn't come to my family house cos he knows I would have told them every bad thing, he always do to me. I changed my sim, I enrolled back in school cos he didn't even want me to complete my education and he married me while I was in second year o. In the University. But he made me drop out. I went back to school. Thank God my mum supported me. I completed my degree, went into business, No more treating STDS again, cos of his Randy attitude. The dowry was returned, then I met now my second husband. He's a very nice and peaceful man. I can't ask for more. Honestly I thank God I divorced the first one.. I just thank God.
Honestly some men are demons incarnate.
I don't joke with my well-being and state of mind. Great, resolute lady you are. I love you for the action you took. I hope other ladies in abusive relationships will learn from you. Thanks for sharing your experience. No nonsense. |
